Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 650: Chapter 650: That kind of arrogance and aloofness made her remember it for a lifetime

When the words ”illegitimate child” came out of the servant’s mouth, Daisy Grant, who had been watching the person kneeling on the ground all along, saw the boy’s body noticeably tremble.

”Miss Daisy, the rain is heavy here, please go inside. The young master is waiting for you.”

”Okay.”

Daisy Grant followed the servant into the Sutherland Family’s villa, played with Aidan Sutherland for a few hours, had a meal, and only came out when it was already dark.

Along with Daisy Grant, Aidan Sutherland also came out. When Aidan Sutherland saw the person on the ground, his gaze was very cold, and he spoke harshly: ”Why are you still kneeling here? My mom is having a headache because of you, hurry up and leave! Don’t come to our house!”

It was the first time Daisy Grant saw Aidan Sutherland so angry, with the stance of almost kicking the person kneeling on the ground. Daisy Grant didn’t know why, but suddenly she held Aidan Sutherland back, took two steps back, kept a distance between Aidan Sutherland and the person on the ground, and softly said, ”Why is he kneeling here? He has been kneeling for a long time.”

Since she arrived, seven or eight hours had already passed, and it has been raining all along. The boy was still kneeling in the rain, completely drenched, trembling slightly from the cold.

Aidan Sutherland snorted coldly, glanced at the person on the ground, ”His name is Dawn Sutherland, he is the child my dad had outside. His mom is gravely ill, and he has come to beg us for money to treat his mom.” As Aidan Sutherland spoke, he let go of Daisy Grant’s hand, walked directly over to look at the kneeling Dawn Sutherland, recalled how his own mom was so angry upon seeing Dawn Sutherland that she almost fainted, and kicked Dawn Sutherland hard with his foot, shouting: ”Get lost! Don’t make my mom angry! Whether your mom dies or not has nothing to do with my dad! Don’t cling to our family.”

Daisy Grant frowned slightly, looking at the person kneeling on the ground with some compassion. She walked over to hold Aidan Sutherland, softly spoke, ”Aidan, Aunt Sutherland is having a headache, go inside and take good care of her. I have a driver to pick me up, you don’t need to see me off.”

Aidan Sutherland hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

Aidan Sutherland turned back and went back inside the villa, while Daisy Grant stood there watching the person quietly kneeling in the rain, eventually unable to resist walking over.

Daisy Grant held the umbrella over Dawn Sutherland’s head, stood in front of Dawn Sutherland, and gently persuaded: ”Get up, don’t kneel anymore, otherwise Aidan will hit you to death, Aunt Sutherland doesn’t like you either.”

Dawn Sutherland didn’t lift his head, ignored Daisy Grant, remained kneeling upright in the pouring rain, his face looking somewhat pale.

”Miss, get in the car quickly!” The driver inside the nearby car urged Daisy Grant.

”Alright.” Daisy Grant replied, looked back at Dawn Sutherland kneeling on the ground, a indescribable slight ache pierced into her heart. She squatted down, pulled Dawn Sutherland’s hand, placed the umbrella handle in Dawn Sutherland’s hand, and smiled slightly, ”I’m leaving, don’t kneel anymore, you will get sick, take this umbrella!”

Before Dawn Sutherland had any reaction, Daisy Grant turned and ran off, braving the heavy rain to get into the car.

Dawn Sutherland held the umbrella, watched the silhouette running away in the pouring rain, his gaze somewhat clear.

Daisy Grant got into the car, through the car window, looked at Dawn Sutherland kneeling on the ground again.

The thin body stood proudly in the pouring rain, motionless, this kind of resilience deeply shocked her.

They were roughly the same age, yet she could only act spoiled in front of her parents. Compared to Dawn Sutherland who could persist in kneeling in the pouring rain for a day to plead for his mother’s medical expenses, this innate tenacity deeply moved her.

---------------------

Daisy Grant recalled the scene of their first meeting when they were young, and Dawn Sutherland’s fierce stance kneeling in the pouring rain, as if it had happened just yesterday, made her clearly remember, never forgetting a single detail.

She never expected that just like that, the resolute Dawn Sutherland, that pride and aloofness would make her remember for a lifetime, boldly and suddenly imprinting deeply in her heart for a lifetime!
