Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 603: Chapter 603: Howard Saxton Still Wants to Force Himself on Lydia Brooke?

After downing the third glass of wine, Arlo Seys pressed his thin lips together, and a low voice slowly emerged from his mouth: ”I’ve been at the military hospital these past few days, holding countless discussion meetings with experts...”

Arlo Seys’ heavy voice echoed in the private room, as Nico Haynes and Dawn Sutherland listened attentively with faces full of disbelief. They didn’t interrupt Arlo as he recounted everything that had happened recently.

After Arlo Seys finished speaking, he lifted the glass on the table and downed it all in one go.

Nico Haynes also drank with Arlo Seys, his voice heavy and regretful: ”How could this happen? Damien Morris and his family are real bastards! They keep harming Ariel Morris! Such scum should just be executed rather than left to harm humanity!”

Dawn Sutherland said in a deep voice, ”Without evidence, there’s no way to convict them! Even if Ariel’s bodily toxins serve as evidence, it’s useless without proof that it’s the Morris Family who poisoned her.”

”Evil-doers last a thousand years! Are we just going to let the Morris Family get away with it? Do they really think we at Scenic Hill are pushovers?! Ariel Morris is already engaged as the future daughter-in-law of the Seys Family, Boss Seys’ fiancée. The Morris Family has some nerve daring to act! Just because they have the Saxton Family backing them? Let’s play! If we don’t ruin them, then we’re just a bunch of cowards!”

Dawn Sutherland’s gaze fell on Arlo Seys, who had a cold edge on his brow, his eyes as sharp as ice blades, showing his full force: ”Old Three, I asked you to keep an eye on Scarlett Morris’ movements. Any news lately?”

Nico Haynes’ lips curled into a mocking smile, ”Boss, you guessed it right! The Saxton Family is being kept busy by Jorge Saxton’s strong offensive, leaving them no time or effort to deal with the Morris Clan. Damien Morris is really trying to think of ways to save the Morris Clan from the desperate situation we’ve put them in! Guess what that little creep Damien Morris is planning? A marriage alliance! Wanting to cozy up to the Yates Family in City C!”

Arlo Seys’ eyebrows furrowed, ”Old Three, are you familiar with the Yates Family?”

”Sure am! I’m pretty close with that kid Cohen Yates from the Yates Family. He’s another rich second-generation who loves to wine and dine but is still not as bad as Benny Saxton’s cowardly son, Howard Saxton! Speaking of Howard Saxton, I remember now, lately, that guy has set his sights on a target, hounding someone every day. It’s that starlet from the last charity gala, what’s her name again?” Nico Haynes thought for a moment and slapped the table: ”Lydia Brooke! Yes! That’s the girl! Lately, Howard Saxton has been relentlessly harassing Lydia Brooke! But every time he hits a wall, she doesn’t even spare him a glance. I bet Howard is really losing his cool and might do something reckless! You know, the more resistance and indifference a woman shows, the more it fuels a man’s desire to conquer!”

Dawn Sutherland took a bite of food and asked, ”Does Howard Saxton even think about forcing himself on her?”

Nico Haynes sneered, ”That’s not certain. Hasn’t Howard Saxton forced himself on girls before? Moreover, Lydia Brooke looks good and is a rising star. Howard wanting to sleep with her is pretty normal.”

”But Lydia Brooke is considered a refreshing presence in the entertainment industry. I’ve never heard of any shady dealings with her, nor any scandals except for her announced relationship with that male star Zachary Houston. Apart from Zachary as her boyfriend, she’s basically insulated from rumors.”

”In that idol drama ’Ten Years, We’re Still Good’ that she acted in with Langdon Seal, wasn’t it your Era Investments backing it, Boss? If it were any other female artists working with Movie King Seal, wouldn’t there be some fabricated rumors for promotional hype? Even just to stir up some buzz for the work!”

”But look at Lydia Brooke, she’s worked with so many male stars, yet has she ever had any scandals?”

”Either Lydia Brooke truly is a breath of fresh air, or there’s another possibility: She has someone powerful backing her up, someone with a strong background that ensures no one dares to write nonsense about Lydia!”
