Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 607: Chapter 607: Daisy Grant, is it okay?

When Daisy Grant was lost in thought, Evalian Chapman’s voice sounded again: ”Daisy Grant, could you? Help me win over Dawn Sutherland. We’re friends now, and you want to see Dawn happy, right? You call him big brother, he treats you like a sister. If I get together with Dawn, it would be the best thing. You could call me sister-in-law! I can go shopping with you, and if your husband ever bullies you, I will definitely have Dawn stand up for you! How about that?”

With a look of hope and request in her eyes, Evalian Chapman gazed directly at Daisy Grant, who couldn’t outright refuse, but she really couldn’t bring herself to agree to Evalian’s request. She didn’t want to agree.

Just then, caught in a dilemma, her phone on the table buzzed with a new message. Daisy Grant immediately avoided Evalian’s gaze, reached out for her phone, and checked the message.

Her fingers trembled violently when her eyes landed on the message. She abruptly stood up, grabbed her bag, and said to Evalian, ”Sorry, I have to leave now, please tell big brother for me,” and hurriedly left the western restaurant on her high heels.

Dawn Sutherland had just finished his call and noticed Daisy Grant hurrying past him. He asked, ”Daisy, where are you going?”

Daisy Grant halted, her head slightly lowered, and her voice was somewhat awkward: ”Big brother, I’m leaving first, you and Evalian have your meal.” Without stopping further, she quickly walked toward the exit, never lifting her head.

Dawn Sutherland took a deep look at Daisy Grant’s retreating figure. When he heard Evalian Chapman call out his name, he snapped out of his thoughts and turned to give her a gentle smile, asking seemingly casually, ”Where did Daisy rush off to?”

Evalian Chapman shook her head, ”I don’t know. She acted strangely after receiving a text message. Dawn, you really care about Daisy Grant!”

Dawn’s eyes showed a hint of panic. Just as he was about to deny it, Evalian Chapman’s cheerful voice cut in again, ”I know you see her as a sister. Dawn, she’s your sister, and I’ll definitely treat her as a good friend. By the way, why does she call you big brother? Are you related by blood?”

Dawn Sutherland pressed his lips together, ”No blood relation. I’m the second in line with Arlo and Nico, so she calls me big brother.”

In the Sutherland Family, he’s also second in line, so Daisy always calls him big brother. She’s the only one who calls him that.

Evalian Chapman responded with an ’oh,’ smiling brightly, ”Dawn, should we go shopping? We just finished eating, let’s walk it off?”

Dawn recalled Daisy Grant’s daze when she left and subconsciously declined Evalian’s suggestion, ”I just received a call from the company, still have some work to attend to, and need to hurry back.”

”Alright then.” Evalian Chapman was clearly disappointed by the rejection, her tone lowering.

Dawn smiled apologetically at Evalian and then walked away.

When Dawn reached the underground parking lot of the shopping center, he spotted Daisy Grant sitting in the driver’s seat of a red Porsche a few spaces away, her eyes dazed and vacant.

Dawn paused in unlocking his car, pursed his lips, and walked towards the red Porsche.

As Dawn approached, standing by the driver’s side window, he softly spoke to the person inside, ”Daisy.”

Inside, Daisy Grant, who was lost in thought, heard a familiar voice in her ear and thought she was hearing things. She slowly turned her head, her eyes met Dawn Sutherland, who had somehow gotten so close, his gentle and warm face stopping her in her tracks.

Tears welled up in her eyes, which were still slightly red, entering deep into Dawn’s pupils without any warning...
