Chapter 608: Chapter 608: Second Brother, I Want to Tell You Something...

Dawn Sutherland’s eyes deepened slightly, with a faint smile on his lips, ”I’m quite free this afternoon, Daisy, do you have time? Shall we go watch a movie together?”

Daisy Grant’s gaze suddenly brightened as she looked at Dawn Sutherland, but thinking of Evalian Chapman’s words in the restaurant earlier, Daisy’s eyes turned somewhat dull. She pressed her thin lips together, her chestnut bangs lightly covering her forehead and eyebrows, her eyes lively and clear.

Daisy Grant smiled softly at Dawn Sutherland, ”Second Brother, don’t you have plans with Evalian?”

Evalian Chapman likes Second Brother. She’s lively and straightforward; she should be the one to make a move.

Dawn Sutherland shook his head and directly asked, ”Should we take your car or mine? At this time, the cinema shouldn’t be crowded.”

His topic shifted rather quickly, Daisy Grant looked at him deeply, smiled lightly, and said, ”Let’s take Second Brother’s car.”

As she said this, Daisy Grant pushed open the car door and stepped out, smiling at Dawn Sutherland, ”Second Brother, you’re treating me to a movie as thanks for helping you move that day.”

Daisy’s misty eyes cleared the sorrow away, with a teasing smile at the corners of her mouth, Dawn felt more relieved, nodding with a smile, ”Sure, no problem.”

The two got into Dawn’s car and drove away.

Upon arriving at the cinema, Daisy Grant chose the movie, picking a fresh and tender film about unspoken love, a production of Halo Media Group, starring Alina Johnson in her award-winning performance! Her co-star was Carson Francesca.

Dawn Sutherland collected the tickets, bought two drinks and a bucket of popcorn, and led Daisy Grant into the screening hall.

Since it was midday, the cinema was rather empty, and in the hall number 3 where they were, it was completely empty, almost as if they had reserved it.

The screening hall was dimly lit, Daisy Grant walked towards the central seats. Dawn Sutherland, seeing her wearing high heels, was worried about any accidents, so he followed closely behind, not taking his eyes off her.

The film depicted two friends who liked each other, yet neither had the courage to express their deep love, ultimately missing each other.

The film was heart-wrenching yet realistic, causing Daisy Grant’s eyes to grow moist.

”Jingfeng, I’m getting married. This lifetime, it seems we truly have fate without destiny.” On the screen, the female lead silently cried while holding the photo of the person she liked the night before her wedding, murmuring solemnly.

The next day, at the grand wedding, the male lead attended with a female companion and spoke deeply to the female lead, ”I’ll accompany you until here, take good care of yourself.”

Until the movie ended, neither the male nor female lead had uttered ”I like you,” keeping their deep love hidden in their hearts, missing each other forever.

When the film ended, both Daisy Grant and Dawn Sutherland’s bodies trembled slightly, yet they dared not meet each other’s gaze.

Daisy’s fingers instinctively touched the purple shell hanging from her neck, a gift from Second Brother during their trip to Little Fishing Village.

Somehow, clutching the purple shell tight, Daisy’s heart raced rapidly, unrested and clamoring fiercely.

The ending of the film where the main characters missed out because they lacked courage to confess played repeatedly in her mind, making Daisy Grant’s fingertips stiff. She slightly turned her head to look at Dawn Sutherland, holding onto the necklace on her chest, struggling for over ten seconds, she spoke to the gentle Dawn Sutherland, ”Second Brother, I want to tell you something ----”

With a hint of hope, Daisy Grant wished that her courageous confession would be reciprocated. If Second Brother, whom she liked, liked her too, she felt she would be the happiest person in the world.

Dawn Sutherland turned to Daisy Grant with a gentle smile, ”Daisy, go ahead, Second Brother is listening.”
