Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 602: Chapter 602: The Deepest Silence, Yet Love as Vast as the Sea

Nico Haynes pursed his lips, pausing for a moment before responding, ”That’s not how it should be said! Aidan Sutherland is the eldest son; it’s only right to give him more. Shouldn’t you get at least a little less? After all, it’s been you managing the company all along. What’s Aidan Sutherland worth? When you took over this failing subsidiary, it was a complete mess. Now, after you’ve sorted everything out and the original loss-making subsidiary’s sales have skyrocketed, you’re left speechless as it’s all taken back! Damn, Asher Sutherland is really shameless!”

Although he said it didn’t matter, Dawn Sutherland’s gaze still dimmed slightly. His biological father, Asher Sutherland, had always been indifferent, never acknowledging him, no matter how hard he tried.

Arlo Seys glanced at Dawn Sutherland, pursing his thin lips. His voice was soft but filled with concern, ”Didn’t the Sutherland Family give you anything?”

Dawn Sutherland paused, then smiled lightly, replying, ”I don’t want anything from the Sutherland Family anyway. Giving it to Aidan doesn’t matter; once he’s married, it belongs to Daisy too. However, a batch of employees from the subsidiary are willing to follow me, so I managed to chip away a small corner from the Sutherland Clan.”

Nico Haynes sneered, ”You really think about others! Aidan took over the Sutherland Clan and will have support from the Grant Family after getting married. What’s wrong with giving you one subsidiary? You are generous, but I tell you, Aidan might not even care for this subsidiary! Marrying Daisy Grant means marrying half of the Grant Family’s empire! The tiger-reinforced Aidan won’t care about this subsidiary. You’re different; during the initial stages of your startup, you need capital, especially when you lack money. The Sutherland Family really did it, giving you nothing! Left you to fend for yourself!”

Dawn Sutherland took a sip of tea, slightly lowered his eyes, and said nothing.

He managed the subsidiary so well not without self-interest. He knew the efforts he put in would eventually become Aidan’s, with nothing to do with him, but he remained undeterred and regret-free because after marriage, these things wouldn’t just belong to Aidan but also to Daisy.

He just wanted to do what little he could for Daisy Grant with his unspoken love.

Disregarding Sutherland’s inheritance, leaving it all to Aidan, only because the person Aidan married was Daisy Grant, the one he liked.

For the years he’d contributed to the Sutherland Family, all he thought was that these things would be Daisy’s in the future, so he must preserve them well. Therefore, the name Daisy Grant became his source of motivation, driving him to revive the loss-making and abandoned subsidiary over several years, to say nothing of the skyrocketing sales.

Beside him, Arlo Seys glanced at Dawn Sutherland, and his words ”after marriage, it belongs to Daisy too” made Arlo instantly understand his inner thoughts.

Dawn’s love for Daisy Grant was profound and restrained, silent yet deep as the sea.

Affection is truly a tormenting thing. He had been with Ariel Morris for eight years and hadn’t truly married, while the obstacles and identity gap between Dawn and Daisy prevented them from finding happiness together.

The waiter brought up the dishes, and Arlo Seys poured himself a glass of white liquor and drank it in one go, his gaze profound and face cold.

Nico Haynes looked at the two silent people, accompanying their silence for a while, then asked Arlo Seys, ”Boss Seys, what have you been up to these past few days? Little Girl Morris even called me to ask about your whereabouts!”

Nico Haynes’ words made Dawn Sutherland’s gaze also turn towards Arlo Seys, speaking softly, ”Ariel also called me, saying you’ve been missing for several days.”

After downing the liquor in his glass, Arlo Seys poured himself another, didn’t respond, held the glass and drank the white liquor in one go, his expression indifferent, eyebrows deeply furrowed.

Nico Haynes and Dawn Sutherland exchanged a look, both seeing he was in a bad mood, and didn’t ask further, quietly waiting for Arlo Seys to speak.
