Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 633: Chapter 633: Arlo Seys’s hand trembled slightly, and the pill in his hand fell into the car...

Arlo Seys got into the car with the packed meals and drove back to Royal View City.

In the car, Arlo’s eyes couldn’t help but glance at the food, and his fingers tightened around the steering wheel. On the bustling evening streets of City C, cars surged continuously, yet Arlo felt a chilling sensation around him, as if it were swallowing him whole.

It was fifty minutes later when he arrived at Royal View City. Arlo parked the car at the gate, his fingers reaching towards the food before abruptly pulling back, his eyes showing a complex emotion.

He sat there, lost in thought for two minutes. When his fingers reached for the food again, he quickly took out a box of medicine from the car drawer and opened it.

Arlo’s fingers hooked a container filled with chicken soup from the thermos, and as he opened the medicine, bit by bit, his actions were slow and his fingertips trembled violently.

When he held two white pills in his hand, his eyes reflected a struggle and pain. Finally, he unscrewed the thermos lid, his face cold, and moved his hand with the pills towards the chicken soup inside...

”Arlo! What a coincidence, we arrived at the same time!”

A clear and pleasant voice rang out, and Arlo’s fingers trembled intensely, causing the pills to fall inside the car. He turned his head slightly and saw Ariel Morris standing by his car, having coincidentally arrived at Royal View City with him.

Arlo’s eyes contracted fiercely when they met Ariel’s gaze but quickly returned to normal, although his expression was somewhat grim. He silently put the box of medicine into his suit pocket and casually screwed the lid back onto the thermos.

Arlo got out of the car with the meals, closed the car door, and didn’t cast another glance at the white pills that had dropped inside the car.

”Let’s go, let’s have dinner.” Arlo said to Ariel Morris in a light tone, devoid of any emotion.

Ariel Morris smiled sweetly, taking Arlo’s arm. ”Okay, I’ve really missed the food from the old house.”

Arlo glanced from the corner of his eye at Ariel’s bright smile, so radiant it made his mind reel for a moment.

Thus, lost in Ariel’s smile and dazed, Arlo allowed himself to be taken by the arm and the two walked into the villa together.

They sat at the dining table to eat, with Arlo maintaining a neutral expression and mostly staying silent, as Ariel’s cheerful voice filled the living room.

”Arlo, your mom makes such delicious soup! This chicken soup is fragrant yet not greasy! I must learn how to make it!”

While eating, Arlo heard Ariel’s words and recalled the two white pills that had fallen in the car. His expression darkened, and his eyes became unfathomably deep, making it hard for anyone to discern his thoughts.

After finishing the meal, the two sat on the sofa and watched TV for over an hour. Ariel lay in Arlo’s embrace, savoring the moment of warmth and happiness, her eyes full of twinkling starlight.

”Okay, go take a bath, it’s late.” Arlo, who had been silent, suddenly said, stroking Ariel’s hair.

”Okay!” Ariel replied with a gentle smile and went upstairs to bathe.

Watching her go upstairs, Arlo’s face, usually indifferent, became unusually somber. He got up, made a cup of milk, and headed to the second floor.

In the room on the second floor.

Ariel came out wrapped in a bath towel after her shower, her skin snow-white, legs straight, and her face flushed pink from the steam, full of allure.

Arlo’s eyes darkened further, his gaze lingering on Ariel momentarily, and he pointed to a cup of white milk on the coffee table, speaking indifferently: ”Have a cup of milk before sleeping; it’s good for your rest.”

”Arlo, you’re so kind.” Ariel said with a sweet smile, walking towards the milk on the coffee table, and chuckled softly, ”Are you on your way to becoming a caring boyfriend? Arlo, what am I to do as I fall more and more in love with you?”
