Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 72: Chapter 72: Senior Brother Seys, How About Considering Me as a Substitute?

Arlo Seys heard the girl’s confession, and somehow, his gaze turned towards a certain girl biting her lip in surprise, his eyes carrying a hint of an enigmatic smile.

”Nowadays, someone still likes ice blocks? What’s up with this?” Ariel Morris mumbled softly.

Even though her voice was small, Arlo Seys still heard her mumbling. He looked at the slightly chubby girl, the corner of his eye carrying a hint of a smile as he glanced at the somewhat sharp-tongued freshman, saying blandly, ”I have a very cold temperament, won’t be liked by girls, and I’m not planning to waste my time on early love.”

These words could be considered a relatively cultured and gentle refusal of the girl’s confession.

The girl left disappointed, eyes red with sadness.

Ariel Morris glanced at the girl’s departing figure, then turned to look at Arlo Seys, her lips moved, but in the end, she said nothing.

Arlo Seys noticed she was holding back words, his voice still indifferent: ”Just say whatever you want to say about me.”

Ariel Morris pursed her lips and directly blurted out her held-back comment: ”Such a dime-a-dozen confession is bound to be rejected! There’s no originality at all.”

Arlo Seys’s eyes flashed with astonishment for a moment, ”I thought you would say I’m cold-blooded and ruthless, turns out, you’re not criticizing me.”

Ariel Morris shook her head, ”Getting rejected once and then turning away with red eyes, she may not truly have feelings for you. Maybe it’s just your good looks she’s temporarily infatuated with. If it were me, I’d definitely stick to him like glue, and if he kept refusing me over and over, I’d go sing ’Qinghai-Tibet Plateau’ outside his house at midnight! I’d annoy him to death!”

”...” Arlo Seys twitched the corner of his mouth, striding towards the school gate with long legs.

Ariel Morris immediately followed.

Arlo Seys carried a single-shoulder bag, walking casually, the pure white shirt enhancing his clean and detached temperament, carrying a hint of cold arrogance.

Ariel Morris walked to his right side, her long black hair fluttering in the wind. Her white long-sleeved dress accentuated her already pure and darling looks, making her appear even more elegant and matchless, like a lotus with refined grace.

She walked beside Arlo Seys, admiring his perfect and handsome profile, and sighed, ”Ah, these days, good looks are indeed advantageous! Except for being unlikable in temperament, Senior Brother Seys, you’re truly a sight for sore eyes!”

”...” Arlo Seys pressed his thin lips, ”Mm, Junior Sister, you really excel at deceiving people.” Beneath that pure exterior lies such a sharp-tongued and sly heart, which is rare.

The two reached the school gate, Ariel Morris waved at Arlo Seys, ”Bye-bye, Senior Brother Seys.”

”You know my last name is Seys?” Arlo Seys blurted out to her departing figure.

Ariel Morris turned her head back, smiling sweetly, ”It’s hard not to know. Arlo Seys, Scenic Hill High School’s number one male idol, cold in nature, the dream prince of all the school’s girls. Appearing in any corner of the campus with his eight-meter aura! I was just briefed about Senior Brother Seys after starting school today, so of course I know you.” Ariel Morris paused for a moment, tilting her head, gazing thoughtfully at Arlo Seys, her eyes carrying a mischievous light, ”Senior Brother Seys, may I leave an impression in front of you? I’m Ariel Morris, from Class 7 in the first grade. Hmm, Senior Brother’s looks are truly the ideal type for a boyfriend. If you’re always lacking a girlfriend, maybe consider me as a backup?”

”...” Arlo Seys pressed his lips, his tone carrying a hint of cheerfulness: ”I don’t want someone singing ’Qinghai-Tibet Plateau’ outside my house in the middle of the night.”

Ariel Morris tilted her head, without hesitation she replied directly: ”Then what song would you like to hear? Whatever you want to hear, I’ll learn it first, just in case one day I really fancy you, and you keep rejecting me, then I’ll come serenade you in the middle of the night, till you agree.”
