Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 24: Chapter 24: Senior, you don’t have a girlfriend, right?!

And him, hearing her weak voice on the phone, his fingertips trembled slightly, even his heart felt like it was being tightly bound, causing a sharp pain.

How long had it been since he felt so flustered and lost?

He thought that in these past few years, he really had built an impenetrable wall around himself, stable as a mountain. But after just a few days with Ariel Morris, he lost his composure, lost the calmness and poise he had always prided himself on.

Turns out time doesn’t just change a person, it can also deepen certain things, like longing.

He always forced himself to forget Ariel Morris, but eight years only made him miss that beautiful youthful time even more.

Arlo Seys sighed, turning to look at the person still unconscious on the hospital bed, fury rising in his eyes.

Ariel Morris, it was you who told me we should break up and then left! If distancing yourself from me is what makes you happy, why can’t you live well?

Why can’t you be doing well?

That way when you meet me, you can boast before me, with that little bit of arrogance in your eyes, and say, ”Look, Arlo Seys, I’m doing great without you.”

But now, Ariel Morris! Are you really okay? Really happy?

Abandoning me, Arlo Seys, was perhaps your greatest loss?!

Thinking about this, Arlo turned to look at Ariel Morris.

Her lips pale, her face haggard, she seemed even thinner.

A wry self-mockery tugged at Arlo’s lips.

Seeing you not doing well, I should be the happiest.

But Ariel Morris, why is my heart so uneasy, wanting to slap you twice?

Looking at her familiar features, a soft spot seemed to form in Arlo’s heart, compelling him to walk towards the bed.

He reached out, brushing across her profile.

The her from his memories finally appeared before his eyes.

”Ariel, long time no see.”

Arlo Seys murmured softly, his voice as gentle as water.

Seeing her current state, just like before, unchanged.

The scene of their first meeting was vivid in his mind, his thoughts became a bit disoriented, as if he had returned to the time they first met.

_

Back then he was 17, a second-year student in class three at Scenic Hill High School.

That day was the day for first-year students to register, and as the president of the student council, he was busy coordinating the council members to welcome new students.

So busy he didn’t even have time to drink water.

Just as he was intently writing on the school noticeboard with other student council members at the gate, someone lightly tapped his shoulder from behind.

He withdrew his gaze from the noticeboard and heard a boy standing nearby jokingly say, ”Arlo, look back.”

Arlo Seys, not knowing why, turned around...

It was a girl.

A long, pure white dress with long black hair, extremely smooth. The girl smiled slightly, dimples gracing her lips, her sweet charm brightened the early autumn.

It also stunned him momentarily.

”Hi, senior, can you tell me how to get to class seven of the first-year?”

Her gentle voice, lively eyes just looking at him, suddenly made Arlo Seys’s heart flutter. He steadied his mind and casually replied, ”Second building, third floor, second room.”

The girl thought for a while, her eyes slightly puzzled, ”Out of the six buildings, from the back it’s the second building? Or from the front? Third floor, second room, is it from the left or the right? Senior, why don’t you take me there?”

”...” Arlo Seys replied coolly, ”You can look at the class number hanging by the door.”

The girl probably didn’t expect him to indirectly refuse, stared at him for a while, then smacked her lips and said, ”Senior, you don’t have a girlfriend, right?”
