A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1492: Sheʼs… Yours?

Archer returned to the Domain, where his siblings were sitting around smiling. When the group spotted him, they got happy. Oswyn jumped up and rushed in his direction before embracing him.

He didnʼt know what to do, but accepted the gesture as his older brother finally spoke. ʼʼItʼs good to see you, Arch. Iʼm happy that youʼre alive and well.ʼʼ

ʼʼIʼm all right,ʼʼ he murmured, his voice steady yet warm as he returned the embrace. ʼʼYou all need to take a moment, rest, and regain your strength. You guys have been through enough for one day.ʼʼ

Oswyn, his eyes bright with relief, nodded in silent agreement, stepping back just as their sisters hurried forward. Kestria, her brown hair catching the faint light, threw her arms around him with a fierceness that spoke of weeks spent in worry.

Her grip was tight, as though she feared he might vanish again. ʼʼThank you, brother,ʼʼ she said, her voice brimming with gratitude and joy. ʼʼThank you for coming for us. I donʼt know what weʼd have done without you.ʼʼ

A soft smile curved Archerʼs lips as he hugged her back, his hands gentle but firm, grounding her in the moment. ʼʼYouʼre safe now, Kestria. Thatʼs what matters.ʼʼ

He pulled back slightly, his gaze shifting to include both sisters. ʼʼI need you two to lend a hand with the women and their babies. They could use your help.ʼʼ

At his words, Kestria and Dara froze, their eyes widening in unison. Dara, her voice tinged with disbelief, leaned forward. ʼʼWait, youʼre a father?ʼʼ she asked, her tone caught somewhere between astonishment and curiosity.

ʼʼYes to four beautiful little girls,ʼʼ he revealed with a smile. ʼʼWould you like to meet the oldest? Sia would have finished feeding her.ʼʼ

When his sibling heard the name, their jaws dropped as Jal asked in a quiet tone. ʼʼAunty Sia?ʼʼ Part of a series hosted by * (MV&LEMP&YR).

ʼʼYes,ʼʼ he answered, chuckling. ʼʼLet me go get Freya.ʼʼ

With a thought, Archer teleported to Siaʼs room, the faint hum of his teleportation fading into the quiet. The older woman was seated on a plush rug, her laughter mingling with the delighted giggles of a white-haired toddler who toddled about with an angelic glow.

Freya, the little girl, clutched a wooden toy in her tiny hands, her big blue eyes sparkling with mischief. As he appeared, both turned toward him, their faces lighting up with beautiful smiles.

ʼʼAfternoon, Arch!ʼʼ Sia greeted, her voice warm and teasing as she rose to her feet, brushing a stray lock of hair from her face. ʼʼWhat brings you here so suddenly? Not that weʼre complaining about the company.ʼʼ

Archerʼs expression softened, though a flicker of something heavier lingered in his eyes. He crouched down to Freyaʼs level, ruffling her snowy hair as she squealed and reached for him while babbling.

Scooping her into his arms, he stood, cradling her gently before meeting the older womanʼs curious gaze.

ʼʼI want to introduce Freya to my siblings,ʼʼ he revealed while tickling the bundle of joy. ʼʼI just rescued them from my father. He… locked them up. All of them. Just because they showed me love.ʼʼ

Siaʼs smile faded, her brow furrowing as the gravity of his words settled over her. She stepped closer, her hand resting lightly on his arm. ʼʼOh, Arch,ʼʼ she murmured. ʼʼThatʼs… I canʼt imagine what theyʼve been through.ʼʼ

She glanced at Freya, who was oblivious to the conversation, happily tugging at his collar. ʼʼBut bringing her to them, itʼs a good thing. A new beginning.ʼʼ

Archer nodded, his jaw tightening briefly as he pushed back the memories of his fatherʼs cruelty. ʼʼThey deserve to know her,” he said softly, his gaze dropping to Freya, who beamed up at him with unbridled trust. ”And I want Freya to grow up knowing her family, her real family. Not the kind that locks love away like they did to me.ʼʼ

The older womanʼs eyes softened, and she gave his arm a reassuring squeeze. ʼʼThen letʼs get her ready. Theyʼre going to adore her, Iʼm sure of it,ʼʼ she paused, a playful glint returning to her expression. ʼʼThough I warn you, Kestria might try to steal her for cuddles the moment she sees those big eyes of hers and those adorable little ears.ʼʼ

He chuckled, the sound easing the tension in his shoulders. ʼʼShe can try,ʼʼ he said, hoisting the baby higher in his arms. ʼʼBut this oneʼs got a fierce grip. Come on, letʼs go make some introductions.ʼʼ

ʼʼHold your Wyverns!ʼʼ Sia exclaimed. ʼʼLet me get her dressed.ʼʼ

Following that, Archer stood as Sia, with a knowing smile, stepped forward, her hands outstretched. ʼʼCome here, little star,ʼʼ she cooed. ʼʼLetʼs get you ready to meet your uncles and aunts.ʼʼ

He instantly and carefully passed her to Sia. The older woman cradled her with ease, chuckling as the baby squealed in delight, her small hands reaching for her motherʼs dangling black locks.

ʼʼOh, youʼre a handful today, arenʼt you?ʼʼ she teased, avoiding the grabby fingers as she carried the bundle of happiness to a nearby table with soft blankets and a small basket of clothes.

Archer leaned against the wall, his arms crossed, watching the scene unfold with a quiet smile. The Dragonkin beauty set Freya down on the blanket, where the baby immediately tried to roll onto her side, giggling as Sia gently nudged her back.

ʼʼHold still, you wiggleworm,ʼʼ Sia said playfully, pulling out a tiny dress embroidered with silver threads that shimmered in the sunlight. ʼʼWeʼve got to make you look extra special for your big day.ʼʼ

Freya, far from protesting, seemed to revel in the attention. She clapped her hands as Sia slipped the dress over her head, her laughter bubbling up like a melody when she was tickled on her tummy.

ʼʼThere we go,ʼʼ Sia murmured, smoothing the fabric and tying a delicate ribbon around the babyʼs waist.

Archer watched as she then reached for a soft brush, gently running it through their daughterʼs fluffy locks. The little oneʼs eyes widened in fascination, her head tilting as she watched her motherʼs every move, utterly enchanted.

ʼʼLook at you, practically glowing, my little darling,ʼʼ Sia said, holding Freya up to admire her handiwork. The toddler kicked her legs in excitement.

His gorgeous wife laughed, turning to him. ʼʼSheʼs ready to steal some hearts, Arch. Your siblings wonʼt know what hit them.ʼʼ

Archer pushed off the wall, his expression warm but tinged with a protective pride. ʼʼSheʼs already got mine,ʼʼ he said quietly, stepping closer.

She carefully placed the bouncing baby back in his arms, and the toddler immediately snuggled against his chest, her tiny hand patting his cheek as she babbled something incomprehensible but unmistakably happy.

ʼʼShe loved every second of that,ʼʼ Sia remarked, folding the blanket with a satisfied nod. ʼʼNow go show her off. Those aunts and uncles are in for a treat.ʼʼ

Archer nodded, his gaze lingering on Freya, who looked up at him with a beaming smile. ʼʼThanks,ʼʼ he said before leaning forward and kissing the older woman.

The baby watched this and started clapping while squealing happily. When the couple separated, Sia leaned over and kissed their daughter on the forehead. ʼʼBe good for your father, baby girl. Iʼll see you in a few hours.ʼʼ

With a soft shimmer of light, Archer teleported back to the Domain where his siblings waited, Freya cradled securely in his arms. The faint hum of his arrival was overshadowed by the babyʼs delighted babbling, her high-pitched coos echoing through the clearing.

Her eyes darted about, taking in the new faces. He noticed her glow seemed to brighten with excitement as she clutched at his shirt. Oswyn, Fal, and Ryn, who had been murmuring among themselves, turned abruptly at the sound.

Their eyes widened, and they froze, struck still by the sight of the white-haired child in his arms. Oswynʼs jaw dropped slightly, his gaze flickering between them, as if struggling to reconcile the image of his brother with this tiny, radiant being.

Falʼs hand paused mid-gesture, and Rynʼs usually blue, sharp eyes softened, a rare look of wonder crossing his face. Dara and Kestria, standing closer to the center of the room, reacted with less restraint.

Their faces lit up, and they bounded forward, their steps quick and eager. But as they drew near, the young women stopped short, their excitement tempered by awe as they gazed at Freya.

Freya, oblivious to their hesitation, beamed at them, her silver eyes sparkling with unbridled joy. She waved a chubby hand, her babbling growing louder as if greeting them in her language.

ʼʼSheʼs… yours?ʼʼ Dara whispered, her voice trembling with a mix of disbelief and delight.

ʼʼOf course she is,ʼʼ he answered, beaming. ʼʼThis bundle of charm is my good looks and her motherʼs attitude.ʼʼ

Freya leaned forward slightly, her hands clasped together as if resisting the urge to reach out. Kestria, her brown hair falling over her shoulder, mirrored Daraʼs expression, her eyes glistening.

ʼʼBrother, sheʼs beautiful,ʼʼ she breathed, her voice catching. ʼʼLook at those adorable little ears, that glow… sheʼs like a little star.ʼʼ
