A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1460: That Should Stabilize Her

Archer waited for Aisha’s response, but she didn’t reply, prompting him to use the dragon tattoo to teleport to her. Moments later, he appeared in her office in the government district, shocking the Dragonkin beauty.

’’I knew you’d come if I didn’t reply,’’ she greeted him with a love-filled smile.

He sensed a subtle shift in her aura, his instincts tingling as he recognized this feeling. Then that’s when he noticed the slight curve of her stomach. His eyes widened in shock as the woman who ran his empire grinned ear to ear.

’’Jethro’s going wild,’’ she giggled, gently cradling her belly. ’’But he’s a happy old man.’’

His shock melted into a wide, unrestrained grin, his heart swelling joyfully as he realized what she was hinting at. The reality of Aisha’s words sank in, igniting a warmth in his chest that rivaled the sun.

Without a moment’s hesitation, he stepped forward and enveloped her in a tight embrace, careful not to press too hard against her burgeoning belly. Her familiar scent of honey and spice filled his senses, grounding him in the moment.

As he held her, Aisha’s dark brown skin seemed to shimmer even brighter, a radiant glow that pulsed thanks to the new life growing inside. Her vibrant blue eyes, sparkling like polished gems, locked onto his.

Her red hair, tied back in a ponytail, caught the light, its strands glowing as if woven like threads of molten copper. The pregnancy had transformed her into something almost divine, her beauty amplified by the life growing.

Pulling back slightly, he kept his hands on her shoulders, his gaze tracing the soft curve of her stomach. ’’Aisha,’’ he said emotionally. ’’This... this is incredible.’’

His eyes flicked back to hers, catching the infectious joy in her smile. ’’Jethro’s not the only one over the moon. How far along are you? Have you been feeling alright?’’

Aisha’s laughter bubbled up again, bright and melodic. ’’About three months now,’’ she said, beaming. ’’I’m glowing, aren’t I? Feeling stronger every day, though the little one’s already kicking up a storm.’’

Her blue eyes twinkled as she teased. ’’Just like their father, I bet.’’

Archer chuckled, his hands lingering on her, unwilling to break the connection. The fortress around them faded, the bustling Drakeguards and echoing orders nothing compared to the radiant woman before him and the new life they were about to share.

’’Draconia’s about to get a lot brighter,’’ he murmured, pulling her into another warm embrace, his heart soaring.

Subsequently, they continued their discussion as he outlined his vision for fostering social cohesion across the empire. He emphasized the importance of uniting people in a collective spirit, prioritizing communal well-being over individual self-interest.

He was determined to prevent the empire from mirroring Earth’s divisiveness, a sentiment that resonated deeply with the redheaded woman, who cherished Draconia’s communal spirit.

They spent even more time together, their conversation confirming their shared vision for Draconia’s unity. Eventually, he returned to the Darkthorne Empire, materializing on the wall through his magic.

Archer observed soldiers collecting monster materials while the Dark Termites stood guard over the battlefield. ’’This is good, no more attacks,’’ he muttered, grinning.

Just then, Elara appeared from the nearby tower and smiled. ’’I felt you appear thanks to the tattoo,’’ she said.

’’Yes, I wanted to check on the Avidia invasion because I sensed the Demon Princess nearby, but she fled toward their capital,’’ he revealed while checking the surrounding landscape.

Archer summoned his wings as he picked up Elara in a princess carry as a portal tore open. From it emerged Aeris, the Dark Wraith, only to freeze as a monstrous presence loomed behind her, its aura suffocating the very air.

The young woman’s short black hair whipping wildly, she staggered, blood streaming from her lips as she forced out a guttural cry. ’’Run, Arch! This thing, it’s too much!’’

Her voice broke, her eyes pleading for him to flee. But before he could react, the Terravian swung its massive, clawed arm. The blow struck Aeris with bone-shattering force, hurling her through the air like a discarded marionette.

The Dark Wraith crashed into the earth, her body crumpling in a heap, blood pooling beneath her broken form. The sight seared itself into his soul, a wound deeper than any blade could cut. Elara’s scream pierced the air as she tore free from his arms.

She started stumbling toward her friend, panic crossing her face, but she calmed down before screaming. ’’She’s alive! I’ll bring Ari here!’’

But he wasn’t listening, he was already gone. His senses drowned in a crimson tide of rage, his heart a furnace of anguish and fury. The world blurred, sound muted, and all that remained was the Terravian’s mocking him.

A primal roar ripped from his throat, raw and unhinged, as he launched himself at the beast. He was an inferno that struck with reckless abandon, every blow a desperate attempt to erase the image of Aeris.

Archer’s vision burned crimson, the world reduced to a haze of grief and fury as Aeris’s injured body painted itself in his mind. Elara’s anguished cries for her friend echoed faintly, but they could not reach him.

Something primal, ancient, and unstoppable stirred, a draconic force long buried, now clawing free. His wings erupted in white flames, their edges jagged thanks to scales that pulsed with raw, untamed power.

His violet eyes glowed like twin comets, slits of draconic rage consuming the man he once was. The Terravian, a hulking titan of twisted flesh and malice, loomed before him, its grotesque mouth curling in mockery.

It was stronger, faster, a predator born of nightmares, but it had miscalculated. His rage was no mere emotion; it was a cataclysm. He let out a roar that shook the earth, his body surged forward, muscles rippling as his draconic essence took hold.

Claws of searing light tore from his hands, and he struck the Terravian with such ferocity that its armored hide split like parchment. Each blow was a thunderclap, fueled by the heartbreak of Aeris’s fall.

The beast staggered, its confidence crumbling as Archer’s onslaught grew relentless, his power swelling, every pulse of his rage increased it. Sensing its doom, the Terravian lashed out desperately, its massive arm swiping to fend him off.

But he was beyond pain, beyond reason. He caught the limb in a grip that burned, twisting until bone snapped and ichor sprayed. The creature howled, stumbling toward the jagged portal it had emerged from, its instincts screaming to flee.

The portal pulsed, a gateway to a pocket Terravian realm, and the beast lunged for it, hoping to escape his wrath. It was too late, he surged after it, his wings propelling him through the portal in a blaze of fury.

Moments later, the air shifted, thick with the stench of ash and decay, as he crossed into the Terravian realm, a desolate wasteland of jagged spires and writhing shadows. The beast turned, its eyes wide with terror, but he was upon it.

Archer’s claws ripped through its flesh, tearing it apart. A thousand pieces of the humanoid creature were scattered across the blackened ground, its screams fading into nothingness as its rage consumed it utterly.

Only then did he pause, chest heaving, flames licking at his scaled arms. The portal behind him flickered, still open to Thrylos, where Elara knelt beside Aeris. He didn’t think and poured out tons of mana that sank into the Dark Wraith’s body.

’That should stabilize her until Ari gets there,’ he managed to send a message. ’I’ll be back before the babies are born.’

Following that, Archer raised a clawed hand, and the portal collapsed in a burst of shattered light, sealing him in the enemy’s realm. He wouldn’t let this darkness threaten his women or Draconia again, not while he still breathed.

But he was not alone. The shadows stirred, and hundreds of Terravians emerged, their grotesque forms slinking from the darkness as they started surrounding him while letting out strange noises.

Archer noticed their eyes glinted with hunger and rage. His lips curled into a feral grin, his heart pounding as excitement welled up. The ground trembled beneath him as his power surged, scales spreading across his body.

He let out a roar that split the heavens and charged into the horde, tearing through the Terravians with merciless abandon. Their claws raked at him, their screams filled the air, but nothing could stop the dragon’s wrath.

One by one, they fell, shredded, burned, obliterated, as his ever-growing rage fueled a massacre that painted the realm in their blood. The Terravians had taken Aeris, threatened Elara, and defiled his world.

Now, in their domain, they would face the consequences of awakening the dragon within him. Archer stopped fighting after the last group of humanoids started fleeing, allowing him to rest.

’I’ll return once I destroy every one of the cursed things,’ he thought, grinning.

Following that, Archer flew around the strange realm hunting all the Terravians he could find, but came across something worse.
