A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1472: Three Way Clash

Sweat and dust mingled on Archer’s skin, but his violet eyes burned with determination. He met the fiery gazes of his foes as the clash of wills and strength shook the very ground beneath them.

While this happened, he thought as excitement welled up inside him. ’These two are strong! Now I’ll have people to train with who can match me for some time.’

Moments later, the Demons rushed toward him as he started defending himself from their combined strikes. The ground trembled under the ferocity of the clash, the air thick with the scent of scorched earth.

Archer was a conduit of raw power, dancing between Nemuia’s claw strikes and the emperor’s earth-shattering punches. His fists moved with purpose, each strike causing either Demon to grunt in pain.

’At least my hits are hurting them,’ he mused, dodging the older man’s shattering kick.

The trio’s combat was a whirlwind of motion, a symphony of violence that sent shockwaves rippling across the scarred landscape. Nemuia’s red eyes blazed with excitement as she lunged, her claws slicing through the air in a deadly arc aimed at his throat.

He twisted, his reflexes honed to a razor’s edge thanks to all the fights he had been through. Just then, he caught her wrist, redirecting her momentum. With a surge of strength, he channeled mana through his grip, amplifying his power.

Spinning on his heel, he hurled Nemuia with a force that seemed to bend the air itself. She soared across the battlefield, her form a dark streak against the blue sky, crashing into a distant mountain.

The impact sent a plume of dust and debris skyward, her silhouette momentarily lost in the chaos as the ground shuddered beneath her fall. The Emperor roared, his voice a guttural bellow that drowned out the din of battle.

’’You’ll pay for that, boy!’’ he thundered, his obsidian armor started glowing as his power was increased.

Archer met him head-on, their collision like two titans from legends as they started fighting without showing mercy for the other. The Demon’s fist, heavy as a battering ram, swung down with force.

He raised both arms to block, the impact sending a jolt through his bones, but he held firm, his feet digging furrows into the earth. Archer retaliated with a blazing uppercut, his fist igniting with flames that struck the man’s chest, forcing the enemy to stagger back.

This caused the older man to become even more enraged. ’’Damn Dragon!’’

The emperor recovered instantly thanks to the unknown magic he just used. Once he was done, the Demons eyes narrowed with a mix of rage and admiration. Just then, the foe swung again, a brutal haymaker that he ducked under, feeling the air whistle past his ear.

Archer countered with a rapid flurry of punches, each blow targeting the emperor’s midsection, aiming to exploit the cracks forming in his runic armor. The emperor grunted, his massive frame absorbing the punishment.

Once the Demon took enough hits, he retaliated with a sweeping backhand that caught his shoulder, sending him skidding sideways. Pain flared, and he gritted his teeth, but the fast attacks kept coming.

He felt the older man’s fist hitting his face, body, and limbs, which sounded like a thousand missiles hitting something. As this happened, he quickly reacted and used Blink to get away from the enemy.

Following that, they circled, their breaths heavy, the ground beneath them cracked and smoldering from their exchange. He noticed the Demon’s fists glowed with dark energy, each strike now laced with a corrosive aura that sizzled against his defenses.

When he saw this, a smirk appeared. ’Anti-Magic will deal with that,’ he thought.

Archer wove between the blows, his fists a blur of light and power. He landed a devastating hook to the emperor’s jaw, the impact ringing like a hammer on steel, followed by a knee to the older man’s gut that doubled him over.

The emperor roared, seizing his arm and hurling him toward a jagged boulder. He twisted mid-air, his tail lashing out to anchor him to the ground, and he sprang back, slamming both fists into the emperor’s chest in a thunderous double strike.

Everything and everyone seemed to hold their breath as the two warriors traded blows, and each strike was proof of their unyielding wills. His dragon side amplified his strength as he matched the Demons’ raw power.

The older man’s attacks grew wilder, his armor cracking under the relentless assault, but his eyes burned with defiance. Archer felt the sweat streaming down his face as the weight of the war on his shoulders, yet his resolve only sharpened.

With Nemuia momentarily out of the fight, he focused entirely on the emperor, their clash a storm of fists and fury that threatened to reshape the very landscape of Avidia. While waiting for the emperor, a loud boom echoed out.

The giant Demon appeared in front of him and swung a mana-infused punch. He ducked under the emperor’s wild swing, his instincts guiding his movements. Seizing the moment, he drove his shoulder into the foe’s midsection, forcing the older man to stagger back.

With a guttural roar, Archer unleashed a flurry of skilled strikes, each blow landing like a hammer on fracturing stone. The emperor’s armor groaned, shards falling to the scarred earth as he pressed his advantage.

Following that, the Demon cast a spell to get him away, but his tail lashed, steadying him as he sidestepped a desperate counterattack, then spun low, sweeping the emperor’s legs from under him.

The older man crashed to the ground, his breath ragged, rage still burning in his gaze but dimming under his onslaught. Before he could capitalize, a shadow flickered at the edge of his vision.

Nemuia, her wounds hastily bound, surged back into the fray with a snarl. Her twin blades gleamed as she lunged, forcing him to pivot and block her strike with his forearm. Sparks flew from the clash, and the battlefield erupted into chaos once more.

He noticed the Demoness’s eyes glinted with feral passion, her movements a deadly dance as she flanked him, coordinating with the recovering emperor. Archer’s chest heaved, his muscles burning just as the older man rejoined.

Caught between Nemuia’s agile strikes and the emperor’s resurging power, he fought with the ferocity of a cornered dragon, his every move a desperate bid to turn the tide. The landscape of Avidia trembled under the ferocity of their three-way clash.

Minutes later, her blades sliced through the air, a deadly slash aimed at his exposed ribs. Her lips curled into a predatory smirk, sensing an opening as he grappled with the emperor’s sudden storm of punches.

But before the steel could bite, a blur of grey hair intercepted the strike so fast that it even shocked him. Inara, the lioness, materialized with a grin, her sword swatting Nemuia’s blades aside with a loud clang.

’’You can’t hurt my husband, lady,’’ the older woman purred, her voice laced with playful defiance.

Her red eyes sparkled with fierce protectiveness as she planted herself between Nemuia and Archer, her form radiating strength and grace. The Demoness recoiled, her snarl deepening as she sized up the new challenger.

The emperor lunged with a roar, but he was ready. He sidestepped, using the Demons momentum to hurl him toward a crumbling stone pillar. The impact shook the ground, buying him a moment to catch his breath.

Inara and Nemuia circled each other, the lioness’s tail flicking with confidence while Nemuia’s blades danced in her grip, itching for blood. ’’Stay out of this, woman,’’ the red-skinned woman warned.

Just then, Archer’s attention was drawn back to the Demon surged forward, his battered armor rattling as he unleashed a feral roar. His muscles coiled, ready to strike, met the charge head-on.

With a pivot, he caught the emperor’s outstretched arm and, channeling his draconic strength, swatted the towering figure away. The emperor hurtled through the air, crashing into a cluster of jagged rocks with a bone-rattling thud.

Archer’s chest heaved, his eyes narrowing as he tracked the emperor’s groaning form, ensuring he stayed down for now. Across the battlefield, Inara danced with lethal grace against Nemuia, whose swordplay was a blur of otherworldly skill.

The Demoness’s twin blades wove a deadly picture, each swing slicing the air with a hiss that promised death. Yet Inara, her agility unmatched, kept pace effortlessly. She bobbed and weaved, her sword deflecting every strike.

Nemuia’s red skin glistened with sweat, her eyes burning with frustration as Inara’s taunting smile never wavered. ’’You’re fast,’’ she quipped, sidestepping a vicious thrust. ’’But I’m faster.’’

He stole glances at his wife, awe flickering through his battle-worn focus. The Demoness’s skill was unearthly, her blades moving with a fluidity that seemed to defy time itself, yet Inara matched her blow for blow, her movements a perfect blend of instinct and ferocity.

The demoness’s attacks grew more desperate, her strikes a storm of steel, but Inara’s confidence held firm. The ground shuddered as the Demon Emperor stirred, clawing his way back to his feet, his eyes alight with unquenched rage.

Archer tensed, readying for the next clash, while the air around Inara and Nemuia crackled with the intensity of their duel.
