A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1483: Is That All Youʼve Got?

Archer watched as Malakiaʼs lips curled into a fierce smile. ʼʼOh, Iʼm just warming up, handsome!ʼʼ

She lunged again, this time feinting left before delivering a lightning-fast uppercut. He caught her wrist, his grip iron-strong, and spun her into a grapple, their bodies locked in a whirlwind of motion.

The ground trembled as they traded blows, each strike explosive yet precise. Malakiaʼs claws raked across his shoulder, drawing thin lines of red, while his elbow slammed into her side, forcing a grunt from her lips.

Neither held back, yet Archerʼs restraint kept the fight balanced, his strength reined in to match hers. The field erupted into chaos as the older woman broke free, leaping back to summon a burst of primal energy, an aura that flared like a golden flame around her.

She roared, the sound shaking the air, and charged, her fists glowing as she unleashed a barrage of strikes. He met her head-on, his own hands crackling, each block and counter sending shockwaves that scorched the earth, leaving smoldering craters in their wake.

The crowd cheered wildly, Agrippinaʼs eyes gleaming with delight as she watched the spectacle unfold. Malakia flipped backward, landing in a crouch, and swept her leg low, aiming to knock him off his feet.

Archer leaped over the attack, soaring high and slamming down with a fist that cratered the ground where sheʼd been previously. The lioness rolled aside, her laughter ringing out as her grey hair bounced around.

ʼʼIs that all youʼve got?ʼʼ she taunted, springing up to deliver a double-fisted strike to his chest.

He staggered back, the impact rattling his bones, but he laughed, catching her arms and pulling her into a spinning throw that sent her skidding across the field, putting an excited smile on her gorgeous face.

The older woman recovered instantly, her claws digging into the earth to halt her slide, and with a feral grin, she launched herself skyward, twisting into a diving kick that burned with golden light as her mana powered her attack.

He braced himself, crossing his arms to block, and the collision unleashed a deafening boom, a loud clap rippling outward that sent nearby spectators stumbling. Dust and sparks swirled around them as they broke apart, panting, their eyes locked in a state of exhilaration.

Archer, still holding back just enough, surged forward, his movements a blend of raw power and calculated precision. He feinted with a jab, then delivered a spinning backfist that she barely dodged, her hair whipping in the wind.

Following that, the two of them separated, and now he stood opposite, his shirt torn, muscles flexing under bruised skin, a roguish grin tugging at his lips as he watched the older woman move.

ʼʼWearing out already, big guy?ʼʼ she teased, circling him slowly, her fingers brushing his arm as she passed, leaving a trail of warmth.

Malakiaʼs voice sent a shiver down his spine, her gaze locked on his. Archerʼs eyes tracked her, his smirk widening. ʼʼYouʼre dreaming, lioness.ʼʼ

He stepped closer, deliberately grazing her arm with his knuckles, the touch electric. His stance was relaxed but ready, a predator matching her game. The lioness darted forward, her speed a blur, her hand grazing his chest as she feinted a kick to his legs.

Archer caught her ankle mid-swing, his grip firm yet gentle, and tugged her closer, their faces inches apart. ʼʼNice try,ʼʼ he murmured, his breath warm against her cheek.

She twisted free, her fingers trailing along his forearm, her laugh low and teasing as they backed off. The crowd roared, Ariʼs and Freyaʼs eyes gleaming with delight as the skirmish unfolded.

Malakiaʼs claws swiped playfully at Archerʼs side, barely breaking skin, and he retaliated with a quick grab at her waist, spinning her into a brief grapple. Their bodies pressed close, her hands sliding up his chest before she pushed off, her aura flaring like a flame.

ʼʼShow me something new, handsome,ʼʼ she taunted, her fingers flicking his chin as she leaped back, summoning a burst of mana.

Her fists glowed with mana as she unleashed a flurry of strikes, each one brushing closer than necessary, her knuckles grazing his jaw, his ribs. Archer countered, catching her wrist and pulling her into a spin, his hand lingering at the small of her back.

ʼʼLike this?ʼʼ he teased, his tone low as he delivered a palm strike to her side, soft enough to keep her in the dance.

The impact sent a ripple of energy through the air, scorching the ground beneath them as their auras collided. Malakia gasped, her laughter bubbling up as she grabbed his collar, pulling him forward.

ʼʼNot bad,ʼʼ she whispered, her lips brushing his ear as she flipped backward, her leg sweeping low to trip him.

Archer dodged, catching her calf mid-motion and pulling her off-balance. She fell against him, her hands splaying across his chest, her grin growing wider. The cheers swelled, but they were lost in their world, touches lingering, each move a blend of combat and flirtation.

Malakiaʼs mana surged, her aura blazing as she tackled him, her arms wrapping around his torso. They rolled across the field, a tangle of limbs and laughter, her fingers raking through his hair as she tried to pin him.

Archer twisted, reversing their positions, his hands pinning her wrists gently to the earth. ʼʼGot you,ʼʼ he said, his voice a husky murmur, his face hovering close enough for her to feel his breath.

Malakiaʼs bright blue eyes sparkled, her body arching slightly under him, her lips parting in a daring smile. ʼʼNot quite,ʼʼ she whispered, hooking a leg around his and flipping them again.

She straddled his chest, her hands pressing against his shoulders, her grey hair falling like a curtain around them. ʼʼMy turn.ʼʼ

Archerʼs grin didnʼt falter. With a sudden burst of strength, he surged upward, wrapping an arm around her waist and lifting her as he rose. Malakia laughed, her hands gripping his shoulders for balance as he spun her, their bodies pressed close.

He set her down but didnʼt let go, his fingers lingering on her hips as he whispered. ʼʼTime to end this.ʼʼ

Before the older woman could react, he feinted a jab, then swept her legs with a swift kick, catching her as she fell. He pinned her gently to the ground, one hand on her wrist, the other brushing a strand of hair from her face.

ʼʼYield, my mature lioness?ʼʼ he whispered.

Malakiaʼs chest rose and fell with a shiver as he gently nipped her soft lionʼs ear, her radiant smile shining through the shadow of loss. ʼʼOnly for you,ʼʼ she murmured, fingers gliding along his arm as she melted beneath him.

The crowd erupted, Agrippina clapping slowly, her expression one of amused approval. Archer stood, offering the lioness a hand. She took it, her grip lingering, her touch warm as she pulled herself up, brushing deliberately against him.

ʼʼGood fight, handsome,ʼʼ she said, her voice low, her eyes promising a rematch.

ʼʼNext time, no holding back,ʼʼ Archer replied, his fingers grazing hers as they parted, a shared spark passing between them.

As they stepped off the field, the roar of the crowd softened into a distant hum, their energy lingering like a warm echo. Freya, bubbling with uncontainable joy, flailed her tiny arms in a whirlwind of excitement. Your support on M|V|L8EMPYR keeps this series going.

His heart lifted at the sight, a broad smile spreading across his face as he reached for the bundle of joy, scooping her into his arms with a gentle ease. ʼʼThank you for watching her,ʼʼ he said with gratitude as he turned to the Elemental woman beside him.

Ari dismissed his thanks with a graceful wave, her smile warm and effortless, like a breeze carrying the scent of spring as she replied. ʼʼItʼs nothing, my love. You pour endless mana into my being, sustaining me in ways I can never repay.ʼʼ

The white-haired woman leaned forward and kissed Freya on the nose. ʼʼHolding her, itʼs a gift, not a burden, especially since sheʼs your daughter and any child of yours is mine.ʼʼ

Archer couldnʼt help but smile as she kissed the Elemental before speaking to the baby. ʼʼWould you like to hunt some monsters with me?ʼʼ

Freyaʼs excitement bubbled over, her happy babbles filling the air as she waved her tiny arms, which he took as agreement, his eyes crinkling with amusement. Agrippinaʼs gaze was warm as she watched the exchange between father and daughter.

ʼʼYou two are a sight,ʼʼ she said fondly, her voice laced with affection.

With a gentle kiss to Freyaʼs soft cheek and a tender one for him, she bid them goodbye, her silhouette graceful against the fading light as she turned toward the palace to join the other women in their duties.

Meanwhile, Malakia approached with her generals, their purposeful strides stirring the air with an undercurrent of resolve. Just then, the Shadow Creatures found the monsters, and what Archer saw shocked him as a thought crossed his mind. ʼSeems like more soldiers for the Domain.ʼ

He shook his head and spoke to the lioness. ʼʼMala, Iʼm going to clear out the creatures causing problems for your lands.ʼʼ
