A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1487: I Love You, Leira Avalon

Archer lay in bed as Halime nestled against him, exhausted thanks to their passionate sex the previous night. Her steady breathing was a quiet comfort amidst the growing tumult outside.

The storm had returned with a vengeance, its wrath transforming the once-calm ocean into a roiling beast. Thanks to his mana, he could see the towering waves the size of mountains crashing against the island.

Each thunderous impact reverberated through the ground, causing him to feel it miles away. The wind howled, carrying the scent of salt in the air. Halime stirred slightly, her hair spilling across his chest like ink over parchment.

ʼAre the girls okay?ʼ he sent Sia a message using the Dragon Tattoos.

The Dragonkin woman quickly replied cheerfully. ʼThey are fine, my love, Iʼm feeding Freya now while Hecate puts the twins down. Those two gremlins are greedy little girls.ʼ

Archer chuckled at this and said he would come to see them, but Leiraʼs voice joined the conversation. ʼʼMy waters broke, Arch! The baby will be here soon!ʼ

He sighed when hearing this and looked at the ceiling, mumbling. ʼʼThank you, Tia, I understand why you held them back until now.ʼʼ

Following that, Archer made sure Halime was comfortable before teleporting to the cat woman, who was still in her bedroom alongside Nefertiti, Ella, Hemera, and Eveline, who beamed at him.

The rabbit beauty bounded toward him. Her red eyes sparkled as she closed the distance, her delicate feet barely touching the ground. Moments later, she enveloped him in a loving embrace, her slender arms wrapping gently around his shoulders.

Her voice, light and melodic, danced through the air like a spring breeze. ʼʼOh, itʼs so wonderful to see you again!ʼʼ she happily exclaimed. ʼʼI know we just shared breakfast the other morning, but every moment I get to spend with you feels like a gift I canʼt wait to unwrap.ʼʼ

His lips curved into a broad smile as he gazed at the white-haired rabbit, her presence igniting a warmth in his chest. Unable to resist, he leaned down and pressed a passionate kiss to her lips.

He savoring the softness and the familiar spark that always lingered between them. His hands found her waist, steadying her as he deepened the embrace, reluctant to let the moment end.

Archer lifted her briefly before setting her down, his eyes lingering on her flushed cheeks. Moments later, he turned to the other three women, each beaming, and he kissed each one, making them even happier.

A soft, affectionate gesture that spoke of deep bonds and unspoken promises. Just then, his attention shifted, drawn to the purple-haired young woman across the room. Her chest rose and fell, a mix of anticipation and nerves etched across her face.

The room pulsed thanks to the happiness as Edith entered, her presence slicing through the charged atmosphere. Her eyes, sharp yet kind, surveyed the scene, her every step radiating purpose.

Behind her, a procession of midwives followed, their faces glowing with barely restrained exhilaration. Their arms cradled intricately woven baskets full of meticulously folded linens, their soft textures catching the light.

Archer noticed the women were carrying bundles of fragrant herbs whose earthy scents mingled in the air, promising care and comfort for the arrival of the next princess. The anticipation in the room was obvious.

Without hesitation, Hemera, her golden hair catching the morning light like a halo, broke away from the group and dashed toward the balcony overlooking the courtyard. Below, a sea of staff and well-wishers stood in anticipation.

Seconds later, her voice cut through the murmurs of the crowd. ʼʼEmpress Leira Wyldheart is giving birth to the fourth princess!ʼʼ she proclaimed, her words soaring over the gathered throng like a heraldʼs trumpet.

The announcement ignited the crowd into a wild uproar, and a wave of cheers rolled through the courtyard like thunder across the palace gardens. The sheer force of their fervor caught him off guard, his breath hitching as he turned to the Sun Elf beside him.

Her beautiful smile, as warm as the sunlight that bathed her, lit up her features as she gathered her golden locks, tying them into a neat bun. ʼʼWeʼve announced the births of all three princesses before, and now Leiraʼs,ʼʼ she said, her voice brimming with pride and affection. ʼʼIt never fails to set the peopleʼs hearts ablaze. They celebrate each new life as if it were their own; itʼs love they hold for you, Arch.ʼʼ

Following that, Archer approached Leira and gave the cat woman a deep kiss. Once they separated, he whispered. ʼʼI love you, Leira Avalon, thank you for carrying my child.ʼʼ

When she heard this, a beaming smile appeared on her beautiful face as she suddenly kissed him again. Afterward, he ushered her into bed as the contractions got worse, forcing the midwives to get involved.

Archer stepped aside, his heart still thrumming from the crowdʼs exuberant cheers, when a sharp knock echoed through the chamber. The sound cut through the lingering excitement, drawing every eye toward the heavy oak door.

Ella made her way to the door and opened it, only to beam as she exclaimed. ʼʼLeira! Your mother has arrived!ʼʼ

He watched as a woman stepped into the room, her presence familiar. She was an older version of Leira, though time had softened them. Her hair, the same purple as her daughters, shimmered in the morning light.

But it was her eyes that struck him most, vivid purple, that set her apart from her daughter. Chloe carried herself with the poise of someone who had weathered countless storms yet emerged radiant and unbowed.

When the older womanʼs gaze landed on Archer, her face transformed, a wide, radiant smile breaking out. Without hesitation, she hurried toward him, her footsteps light but purposeful, her arms already outstretched.

Before he could react, she enveloped him in a warm, heartfelt embrace, her strength surprising yet comforting. Her voice spilled over him like a soothing melody.

ʼʼOh, my dear boy, Iʼm overjoyed for you and Leira!ʼʼ she exclaimed, pulling back just enough to look into his eyes, her purple irises sparkling. ʼʼWhen Leira told me she was carrying a little kitten, I could scarcely believe it. A new life, a new princess, my heartʼs been singing ever since!ʼʼ

Archer felt a flush of warmth at her words, the weight of the moment settling over him like a soft blanket. Chloeʼs embrace lingered, her hands patting his shoulders affectionately, as if to anchor him in the joy of the occasion.

He settled at the edge of the bed, his hand gently enveloping her fingers, trembling faintly from the effort of labor. The room, bathed in the soft glow of flickering candles, seemed to hold its breath, the air thick with anticipation and the faint scent of salves.

Following that, Arcger gazed at Leira as her face was etched with determination yet softened by a quiet strength that made his heart swell. Her eyes, though weary, met his as he squeezed her hand.

ʼʼIʼm here for you,ʼʼ he whispered.

Leira beamed and leaned forward to give him a passionate kiss. After that, hours slipped by, each moment stretching into eternity, marked only by Leiraʼs measured breaths and the encouraging murmurs of the midwives.

Archer remained steadfast, his thumb tracing gentle circles over her knuckles, grounding her through the waves of pain. The world outside faded, the distant cheers of the crowd now a mere memory, as their focus narrowed to this sacred space where life was poised to begin anew.

Suddenly, a piercing cry shattered the quiet, sharp and vibrant, like the first note of a song. Archerʼs gaze snapped toward the sound, his heart lurching as he saw Chloe cradling a small, wriggling bundle swaddled in soft linens.

The older womanʼs face was alight, her purple eyes wide with wonder as she beheld the newborn. ʼʼSheʼs perfect,ʼʼ the older woman whispered.

She carefully stepped forward, her movements reverent, as if carrying a treasure beyond measure. Leira, her chest heaving from exhaustion, lifted her head, her sweat-dampened hair clinging to her brow. Thiscontentoriginatesfrom*,MyVirtualLibraryEmpire.

Yet, as Chloe gently placed the baby in her arms, a radiant smile broke across her face, washing away the weariness. The infant, tiny fists waving, and a soft tuft of white hair, along with two adorable fluffy cat ears.

Moments later, the little bundle was nestled against her mother, and Leiraʼs eyes glistened. Archer leaned closer, his breath catching at the sight of their daughter, her small features already hinting at the beauty she would inherit from her mother.

The room seemed to glow brighter, the moment wrapping them in a cocoon of love and triumph, as the midwives exchanged quiet smiles, their work crowned by the miracle in front of them.

Following that, Leira glanced at him with a knowing look as she handed the baby over. ʼʼHere you go, Evelyn is finally here after all those months of waiting,ʼʼ she said, chuckling.

When Archer took the bundle of blankets and looked at her fourth daughter, he was shocked as a big pair of green cat eyes opened and landed on his causing a smile to appear before he booped her little nose.
