A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1490: Pampered The Half-Elf

Archer scanned the Ashguard mansion only to realize it was empty apart from a handful of maids lingering around in the halls. With a thought, he teleported to his old bedroom, which brought back memories, but he chose to ignore them.

ʼDamn place is the same as I left it,ʼ he mused, looking around.

His father hadnʼt cleared out his belongings, leaving him to shrug and step outside, where darkness enveloped him. Fortunately, his Dragon Eyes pierced the gloom, catching a faint light glimmering in the distance.

Archer followed the faint light, arriving at a foyer where several guards loitered. Spotting him, they panicked. One charged forward, but he chuckled, waving his hand and sending the man crashing back with a burst of mana.

ʼʼI am not here to harm any of you,ʼʼ he revealed. ʼʼWhere is Duke Ashguard?ʼʼ

As the manʼs words echoed, he bowed his head, a grim shadow crossing his face as he revealed something. ʼʼHe sits in Starfall, a hollow puppet emperor. Your father has imprisoned every sibling who ever dared show you love or loyalty.ʼʼ

When Archer heard this, he nodded before vanishing outside, as he knew where the prisons were, but he sent out his Shadow Creatures while ordering. ʼʼFind my brothers and sisters. Tell me where you find them so I can destroy the place.ʼʼ

Following that, he flew toward Starfall and quickly noticed all the castles littering the landscape. This caused him to think. ʼSo they are copying me, its too late. My missiles will destroy anything the Alliance can build.ʼ

Archer journeyed across Pluoria, and he observed armies marching toward the east coast, anticipating his forcesʼ assault. A sly grin spread across his face as he sent images to the women orchestrating the invasion.

Nearing Starfall City, he spotted a barrage of Mana Blasts arcing through the sky, aimed squarely at him. His eyes sharpened, and he dove swiftly toward the ground, wings pounding with urgency.

At that moment, a surge of divine energy electrified his senses. A group of six Pseudo Gods, their auras ablaze, tore through the storm-torn sky toward him. Archer let out a primal roar, unleashing his Draconic side.

Scales shimmered across his skin, and claws glinted like frost-forged blades. His wings let out a thunderous crack. Battle fury coursed through his veins as the first foe descended. An elder Pseudo lunged forward, her fist crackling, aimed at his heart.

Archer had a shit eating grin on his face as he sidestepped, seizing her face in a vice-like grip. His voice rumbled like an avalanche. ʼʼYou Alliance dogs are but insects before me.ʼʼ

With a savage heave, he hurled her downward, her body streaking like a comet, cratering the earth below in a burst of dust and shattered stone. The remaining Pseudo Gods faltered, their faces paling, but his blood sang.

Archer cared not for their shock; it only excited him as he could smell their fear. Like a primal beast unleashed, he tore into them. His roar shook the heavens as he slashed a towering warrior across the chest, claws rending armor and flesh alike.

Another foe lunged, only to meet his jaws clamping onto their shoulder, bone crunching under his bite. The air thrummed thanks to the chaos as a shimmering portal tore open the sky. From its depths emerged Nyx, her ebony wings a blur of vengeance.

The Chaos Dragon, a feral scream, she descended upon three female Pseudo Gods, her strikes a whirlwind of claws and dark flame, each blow landing with such savage precision that the divine warriors staggered, their confidence shattered.

The battlefield trembled beneath the clash of gods and monsters. Archer grabbed one man and let out another roar that his father would have heard. He was coming for his siblings, and nothing would stop him.

Just then, Nyxʼs enraged voice echoed in his mind. ʼWhy are you so angry? Do I need to burn that city?ʼ

Archer gazed at his Dragon wife, resolve hardening in his eyes. ʼʼMy father imprisoned the siblings who treated me kindly. Weʼre bringing them to Draconia to live with us. They were always good to me growing up, and I wonʼt abandon them.ʼʼ The full series lives on * (*).

Nyxʼs radiant smile lit up her exquisite features as she heard his words, her heart swelling with joy. Fresh from tearing through an enemy with fierce grace, she surged toward him, her movements a blend of power and affection.

She flung her arms around his shoulders, pulling him close, and pressed a fervent kiss to his lips. Archer returned it with equal passion, their bond glowing amidst the chaos. Following this, the two of them continued fighting the Pseudo-Gods.

Thanks to their expert teamwork, they were able to kill all but one of the enemy. Archer watched as the man trembled in fear as he grabbed him by the head, casting Soul Eater, and began devouring his memories.

The Pseudo God started screaming thanks to the pain shooting through his entire body. As this happened, Archer knew where all the defences were and how this could help the coming invasion.

Once that was done, he squashed the manʼs head like a watermelon before dropping his body to the ground. When this happened, Nyx started laughing as she corrected herself. ʼʼAlright, youʼre still wild, but I love you anyway.ʼʼ

Archer chuckled as he led the Chaos Dragon toward Starfall City, where his father ruled. As they got close, he turned right and headed straight for the first prison. Ten minutes later, the couple were hovering above the dark-looking building.

ʼʼTheyʼre holding my older brother Oswyn in here,ʼʼ he revealed. ʼʼIʼm surprised as heʼs Jannaʼs firstborn. She must be pissed with my father.ʼʼ

Nyx giggled before replying. ʼʼHow do you want to handle this?ʼʼ

ʼʼJust watch gorgeous,ʼʼ he answered.

Archer glided down toward the prison, his sharp senses sweeping through the structure below. Deep underground, he pinpointed his older brother, slumbering in a dank cell. With purpose, he touched down lightly outside the main entrance.

Nyx, the Chaos Dragon, landed at his side, her keen eyes scanning the surroundings for threats. Her once-white hair had shifted to an inky black, and her crimson eyes glowed with battle-ready intensity, a clear sign of her readiness to unleash havoc if needed.

Together, the two strode into the prison, their presence a quiet storm of determination and power. Archer approached the entrance and booted it off the hinges, sending the slab of metal into a bunch of soldiers.

The Dragon woman moved so fast and cut apart the survivors as he made his way to way down. Thatʼs when he sensed hundreds, if not thousands, of Avalonian rebels, causing his grin to widen.

ʼʼAvalonians!ʼʼ he exclaimed in a dominating tone. ʼʼI am Archer Wyldheart. Husband of your princess Leira Avalon.ʼʼ

As soon as those words left his lips, silence took over before a roaring cheer erupted from the prisoners. Just then, he waved his hand and resummoned the Shadow Creatures while ordering the monsters. ʼʼTake everyone into the Shadow Realm until Iʼm ready.ʼʼ

Following that, Archer walked down the corridor as Nyx went wild, killing every Alliance soldier they came across. By the time the duo reached Oswynʼs cell, the prison was covered in blood.

He chuckled at the smell before summoning the Necromancer sisters, who appeared from the Domain and began collecting all the corpses after kissing him all over the face, making the Chaos Dragon giggle in amusement.

Archer shook his head as he grabbed the doorʼs handle and ripped the metal from the wall. He threw the door away as he spotted the brown-haired young man who looked starved but defiant.

When Oswyn glanced up and spotted him standing there, a smile appeared as he muttered. ʼʼLittle brother. I knew youʼd come once you found out about us.ʼʼ

ʼʼDonʼt worry,ʼʼ he replied in a cold tone. ʼʼFather will pay for what he did to you guys, but I donʼt have time to talk, the others need my help.ʼʼ

Just then, Archer threw Oswyn into a camp he built for his siblings in the Domain so they could rest and be fine. Ella made sure there were maids there to help, and when he heard about that, he pampered the Half-Elf until she was a stuttering mess.

Once his older brother was fine, they headed for the prison that was holding his younger sibling, Ryn. He was happy because he hadnʼt seen any of them for years and wanted to catch up with them.

An hour later, Archer and Nyx hovered above the prison, their silhouettes framed against the stormy sky. His eyes gleamed with focus as he conjured thousands of radiant Mana Bolts, each one pulsing with raw, destructive energy.

The shimmering projectiles hovered in the air, locked onto every enemy soldier guarding the captives below. A sly smirk curled his lips as he lowered his hands in a swift, decisive gesture.

The bolts streaked downward like a barrage of celestial missiles, slicing effortlessly through stone, metal, and wood. In mere seconds, the Alliance soldiers were obliterated, their defenses crumbling.
