A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1484: They Dared Breach The Mist

Archer watched as the older womanʼs eyes widened, and the generals looked taken aback as he cast a spell over the lioness. ʼʼThis will allow you to enter my Domain, the treehouse is a peaceful place to relax, or you can explore the world.ʼʼ

Malakia nodded, asking. ʼʼCould you show me? Iʼll feel rude just entering.ʼʼ

ʼʼOf course,ʼʼ he responded and grabbed her hand.

In an instant, his magic enveloped them, and with a soft shimmer, they teleported into the treehouseʼs living room. The older womanʼs eyes widened in astonishment at the sudden shift, her breath catching as she took in the serene scene.

The room was hushed, bathed in a warm, flickering glow from mana candles scattered across every surface, their light dancing on the wooden walls, casting a cozy, enchanted ambiance.

ʼʼWow this is amazing,ʼʼ Malakia commented in amazement. ʼʼI can feel this place is seeping with pure mana, just like you.ʼʼ

Archer chuckled and explained while bouncing a tired Freya, who let out an adorable yawn. ʼʼI created all of this over the years.ʼʼ

When the lioness heard this, she smiled. ʼʼItʼs like paradise, thank you for letting me use it.ʼʼ

ʼʼNo worries,ʼʼ he replied. ʼʼIʼm going to take the baby back to her mother; she needs to sleep. I might bring Neoma or Kela.ʼʼ

Malakia nodded in understanding and spoke. ʼʼIʼm going to head back to Goldenmane, but this place will be heaven to relax in.ʼʼ

The older woman stepped forward, her eyes gleaming, and gently grasped his chin, drawing him into a passionate kiss. Archer returned it with equal intensity, the warmth of the moment wrapping around them like the glow of the mana candles.

Freya, nestled against the lionessʼs ample chest, let out a soft sigh, her tiny body relaxing as she drifted into sleep, lulled by the steady rhythm of Malakiaʼs heartbeat. As their kiss softened and broke, they both glanced down, noticing the babyʼs peaceful slumber.

Archer carefully handed the sleeping child to the lioness, who cradled her as if she were a priceless treasure, her demeanor softening into a protective embrace. He met her gaze, his voice low and earnest.

ʼʼWould you mind coming back to the palace with me? Iʼll bring you back here after, I donʼt want her to wake just yet,ʼʼ he asked.

ʼʼCertainly handsome,ʼʼ Malakia answered.

With a wave, Archer summoned a swirling portal, its edges shimmering with arcane energy, opening a pathway to the palace. He and Malakia, with Freya still nestled peacefully in her arms, stepped through, the magic folding around them like a soft breeze.

They emerged just outside Siaʼs chambers, the familiar stone walls of the palace glowing faintly under the light of enchanted sconces. He lightly knocked on the door, and the older womanʼs voice rang out from within, warm and inviting.

ʼʼCome in!ʼʼ she called, her tone bright with anticipation.

Pushing the door open, Archer stepped inside, Malakia following close behind. Sia, the Dragonkin woman, was just stepping in from the balcony, her dark hair catching the soft light as she moved.

Her eyes lit up at the sight of them, and a warm smile spread across her face. ʼʼHello, Arch,ʼʼ she greeted, her voice rich with affection.

The older womanʼs gaze softened as it settled on the sleeping child in Malakiaʼs arms. ʼʼHowʼs our little Freya doing?ʼʼ

Archerʼs face softened, a quiet pride in his eyes as he glanced at the sleeping child. ʼʼFreyaʼs doing wonderfully,ʼʼ he said. ʼʼSheʼs been a bundle of joy all day, though sheʼs finally settled down for a nap.ʼʼ

He turned slightly, gesturing to the lioness beside him. ʼʼMy love, this is Malakia, empress of the Goldenmane Empire, but now my newest woman.ʼʼ

The lioness offered Sia a respectful nod and gently passed the sleeping princess into her waiting arms, Freyaʼs tiny form stirring only slightly before nestling deeper into her slumber thanks to being held by her mother.

ʼʼSheʼs a treasure,ʼʼ Malakia said softly, her voice carrying a rare warmth that contrasted with her usual commanding presence. ʼʼI loved holding her, sheʼs wonderful.ʼʼ

Sia cradled Freya close, her draconic eyes shimmering with affection as she looked down at the child, then back to Malakia.. ʼʼThank you for keeping her safe. Itʼs clear she feels safe in your arms.ʼʼ

Just then, the Dragonkin woman turned to the lioness and offered. ʼʼWould you like to stay for some tea? Now the babies are asleep, Hecate will be back soon.ʼʼ

Archerʼs ears perked at this, causing him to question. ʼʼAre the twins still resting?ʼʼ

Sia nodded while letting a giggle. ʼʼYes, they are active. Hecate was chasing them around the room. The babies were crawling everywhere,ʼʼ she revealed.

He couldnʼt help but laugh at that and quickly leaned over and kissed Sia and Freya before turning to Malakia with a knowing grin. ʼʼNo, causing trouble or Iʼll punish you, even if youʼre Nalaʼs grandmother.ʼʼ

The older womanʼs giggle filled the room, her tail swaying playfully side to side, a spark of mischief in her eyes. But the moment was shattered as Lucreziaʼs urgent voice cut through Archerʼs mind like a blade. ʼMy love! A massive Alliance fleet is moving toward the Death Mist and shows no sign of slowing!ʼ

Archerʼs eyes narrowed, the warmth of the moment replaced by a steely resolve as her words sank in. He turned to Sia, his voice steady. ʼʼWeʼre under attack. I suspect the enemy has found a way to breach the Mist. I need to go, Olivia must be secured.ʼʼ

Siaʼs blue eyes blazed with a fierce intensity as she straightened, cradling Freya protectively. ʼʼGo,ʼʼ she said, her voice a low growl of conviction. ʼʼShow them no mercy, Arch. Crush their hopes of invading Draconia and end this threat once and for all.ʼʼ

With a surge of mana, Archer vanished from the palace, reappearing at the northern tip of Draconiaʼs island. He took to the skies, wings cutting through the air as he sped toward the Death Mist, its swirling, ominous veil looming ahead.

His heart pounded as he spotted an Alliance Destroyer, its hulking form slicing through the Mist, trails of sickly Terravian magic pulsing from its hull, defiling the barrier. Rage ignited within him, a primal fury that burned hotter than dragonfire.

The audacity of their invasion, the violation of Draconiaʼs defenses, sent a tremor through his core. Archer unleashed a thunderous roar, raw and earth-shaking, its echo rolling across the island, a warning to friend and foe alike that the wrath of Draconia had awakened.

Beneath the churning waves, Lucrezia and Demetra glided swiftly under the looming shadow of the Alliance Fleet, their powerful forms cutting through the ocean with purpose as the eyes watched the enemies approaching their home.

The distant, enraged roar reverberated through the water, a primal sound that sent a thrill of recognition through them both. They knew instantly it was Archer, his fury a call to action as he got close.

Exchanging a glance, they surged away from the fleet just as a colossal white dragon broke through the clouds above. Moments later, a searing violet fire erupted from his mouth, striking the lead Alliance vessel with devastating force.

The ship shattered in a fiery explosion, fragments raining into the sea as the shockwave rippled outward, a testament to Archerʼs unrelenting wrath. Just then, Lucrezia and Demetra surfaced just beyond the chaos.

Their heads breaking through the waves as they watched Archerʼs majestic white dragon form dominate the sky. His massive wings beat with thunderous force, stirring the air into a tempest as he unleashed another torrent of violet fire.

Lucreia watched with wide eyes as the searing flames engulfed a second Alliance vessel, its metal hull glowing red before erupting into a cascade of molten debris that hissed as it met the sea.

The fleet scrambled, their ships veering desperately, but Archer was relentless, his roars shaking the heavens as he dove, claws rending through a third shipʼs deck with surgical precision.

Her gaze gleamed with fierce pride, her tail flicking through the water. ʼʼHeʼs a storm incarnate,ʼʼ she murmured, her voice barely audible over the cacophony of explosions and splintering wood.

Demetra nodded, her gaze fixed on Archerʼs devastating attack. ʼʼThey dared breach the Mist,ʼʼ she said, her tone sharp with defiance. ʼʼNow they face our husbandʼs true might.ʼʼ

Together, they watched as his fiery wrath tore through the fleet, each blast a declaration that no invader would ever set foot on their island.

Archer wheeled through the sky, his white scales glinting as he dodged a barrage of Anti-Dragon projectiles, their glowing tips sizzling through the air. The near miss ignited a spark of inspiration in his mind.

With a surge of will, he cast his Shadow Prince ability, his massive draconic form dissolving into an inky blackness that melded with the shadows cast by the fleet below. The transformation stunned the onlookers, both friend and foe.

Their eyes widened as the colossal dragon became one with the darkness. Moments later, he reappeared within the shadow of a battleship. The vessel groaned under an invisible assault, its hull splitting apart with a deafening screech as if torn by phantom claws.
