A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1491: A Boyfriend Maybe?

After Archerʼs sudden attack he sensed the prisoners, still huddled in their cells, staring in stunned silence at the dead bodies. Their hearts pounding as they witnessed the sheer power that had just shattered their captorsʼ hold over them.

He chuckled just as Nyx looked at him with a concerned expression. ʼʼArenʼt you worried about Morena and Demacia?ʼʼ

ʼʼNo,ʼʼ he instantly answered. ʼʼI feel sorry for anyone who runs into them. You know those two are some of the rare people who give me the chills.ʼʼ

The Chaos Dragon started laughing at this, but soon agreed. ʼʼYes, some of their experiments sent goosebumps down my arms and Iʼve seen some wild shit over my years.ʼʼ

Archer gave a firm nod, and together, they stepped into the dimly lit prison. Their eyes quickly found the dark-haired young man, Ryn, curled tightly in the corner of his grimy cell, his form shadowed by despair.

Nyxʼs heart softened at the sight, and she knelt slightly, her voice gentle yet carrying a warmth that pierced the cold air. ʼʼHello, Ryn,ʼʼ she said, her tone soothing. ʼʼIʼm Nyx, Archerʼs wife. Weʼre here to get you out. Come, youʼll see Oswyn soon. Weʼve already freed him.ʼʼ

ʼʼIs that you, Arch?ʼʼ the young man questioned.

ʼʼYes little brother,ʼʼ he answered. ʼʼSorry I didnʼt come sooner, I only found out about what father did when I returned to Pluoria after being away for a while.ʼʼ

Ryn chuckled as Archer continued. ʼʼIʼm going to get Jal, Dara, and Kestria. Once those three are safe, weʼll talk.ʼʼ Uplоаdеd by thе М|V|L(ЕМРYR) tеаm.

ʼʼAlright,ʼʼ the dark-haired young man answered.

After ensuring Rynʼs safe return to the Domain, he pressed on, flying across the sprawling Avalon Empire to liberate his remaining siblings. His journey was a solitary one by the time he reached the imposing prison tower where Kestria was held captive.

Nyx had departed earlier, accompanying Dara to comfort the young woman, who was trembling thanks to the loneliness and hunger. Now, Archer stood alone, his gaze fixed on the colossal stone tower piercing the stormy sky.

His senses sharpened as he detected the presence of a Demi God guarding the structure, its aura a blazing beacon of power. Unfazed, Archer steeled himself, his draconic eyes narrowing as he prepared to confront the guardian and free his sister.

Minutes later, he emerged from the darkness thanks to using Blink. The Demi God guarding Kestria loomed before him, the manʼs form wreathed in blinding light, a massive blade pulsing with celestial energy.

Lightning tore across the sky, illuminating the clash of mortal and godlike forces. The Demi God sneered, its voice booming like thunder. ʼʼYou dare challenge a Chosen Sentinel, Devil?ʼʼ

Archerʼs only response was a low, rumbling growl, his scales glinting like molten silver. His wings flared, kicking up a whirlwind of dust as he surged forward, faster than the eye could follow.

Just then, the man swung his blade in a deadly arc, aiming to cleave him in two, but he twisted through the air, his body weaving past the attack. Closing the distance in a heartbeat, his claws clamped onto the Demi Godʼs armored shoulders, pinning it in place.

The guardianʼs eyes widened in shock as his jaws parted, revealing teeth sharp enough to rend steel. Archer let out a feral roar and lunged, sinking his fangs deep into the Demi Godʼs throat. Flesh yielded under the bite, and a torrent of blood gushed out.

While this happened, the Demi God thrashed, its divine power flaring in desperation, but Archerʼs grip was unyielding. Moments later, he tore out the enemyʼs throat, silencing the manʼs final cry.

Following that, the Alliance powerhouseʼs aura sputtered and faded, and crumpled to the ground in a pool of shimmering blood. He rose, his chest heaving, blood dripping from his mouth as he glared at the towerʼs entrance, now open to him.

Archer shook his head, his senses still thrumming from the battles that had paved his path through the Avalon Empire. Without a care in the world, he cut down enemy soldiers wherever they stood, their numbers dwindling under his onslaught.

His journey led him to a metal door, scarred and reinforced, pulsing because of the faint enchantments. Beyond it, he sensed two presences: the familiar aura of his sister Kestria and an unfamiliar man.

ʼA boyfriend maybe? Itʼs been years since Iʼve seen any of them,ʼ he mused.

Archerʼs brow arched in curiosity, but he wasted no time and let out a low growl. He gripped the doorʼs edges, his claws digging into the enchanted steel as if it were parchment. With a single, forceful yank, he tore the door from its hinges.

The screech of rending metal echoed through the towerʼs halls. As the door crashed to the ground, a young man inside the cell launched himself, his eyes full of desperation and defiance, a makeshift blade gleaming in his hand.

Archerʼs lips curled into an amused chuckle as he flicked his wrist, and he slapped the attacker aside, sending the man sprawling against the stone wall with a dull thud. The young man groaned, dazed but alive, as his gaze swept the dimly lit cell.

There, at the far end of the room, sat Kestria, her frail form huddled against the cold stone. Her eyes, wide with a mix of fear and hope, locked onto his towering figure. Just then, a flicker of recognition broke through her weary expression.

His words caught in his throat as instinct surged. Archer lunged, seizing Kestria, his other hand yanking the young man close. With a pulse of raw power, he cast Cosmic Shield, its radiant barrier enveloping them just as the tower detonated in a cataclysmic roar.

Mana Bombs erupted in a symphony of destruction, shaking the earth beneath their feet. In one fluid motion, he hurled them into the safety of his Domain. Archerʼs hands clapped together with a thunderous crack, obliterating every trace of mana in a dazzling shockwave.

A wicked chuckle escaped his lips as his piercing gaze locked onto his father, Duke Leonard Ashguard, standing amidst the chaos. Moments later, a Demi God lunged at him, but he caught the attacker while staring into the older manʼs eyes.

As Duke Leonard Ashguardʼs eyes met his sonʼs, a chill of dread gripped him. The Allianceʼs fate was sealed in the sinister shadow of his grin. The young manʼs laughter, cold and unhinged, as he dangled a Demi God by the throat, his eyes ablaze with devilish delight.

In a horrifying flash, he watched as Archerʼs jaw snapped forward, tearing the manʼs head clean off in a spray of crimson. Blood drenched his face, streaking down his clothes like war paint, yet a wicked, triumphant smile curled his lips.

He was radiating a demonic glee that froze his blood just as the young man spoke in an amused voice. ʼʼHello, father. Didnʼt expect the son you threw away to turn out like this, did you?ʼʼ

Leonard shook his head and responded. ʼʼYouʼre this way because of the way I treated you. If anything, I should be getting a thanks.ʼʼ

The moment the words slithered from Archerʼs lips, a maniacal laugh erupted from him, dark and taunting. He sneered, his voice dripping with venomous glee. ”No, Iʼm not here to waste breath bickering with a faded relic like you. Oh, and by the way—Sia just gave birth to my daughter. Howʼs it sting, old man, knowing your disgraced son claimed the woman you could only dream of?”

Leonardʼs blood boiled at his sonʼs venomous taunt, his heart seething with fury. He had always adored Sia, her fire, everything his wife Larka could never be. His mind screamed, ʼHow did this infernal monster win her?!ʼ

Archerʼs eyes gleamed with sadistic glee as he twisted the blade deeper. ʼʼOh, and letʼs not forget dear Mother Brooke,” he purred, voice thick with malice. ʼʼSheʼs carrying my child, your new sibling, Father. Howʼs that for a family reunion?ʼʼ

Archerʼs piercing gaze locked onto the older man, watching Leonardʼs barely restrained fury with twisted amusement. He leaned in, a devilish smirk curling his lips as he prodded again, voice dripping with cruel provocation.

ʼʼCome on, Father, let it out. Snarl at me like you did when I was a boy. Try to break me again, see if you can still swing that heavy hand of yours,ʼʼ he challenged, but the man didnʼt move and only trembled in fear.

He advanced with chilling resolve, his voice a low, searing finality that cut through the air. ʼʼIʼve seen your pathetic truth, Father, and youʼre beneath my contempt, unworthy of even a flicker of my rage. You forged the monster I am, but I clawed my way to this throne, hand in hand with my women.ʼʼ

Archer stepped back while concluding. ʼʼNow, stand there, broken, and watch your world collapse while the son you cast aside rises to create something that Thrylos has only ever dreamed of.ʼʼ

Following that, he vanished, leaving Duke Leonard standing there surrounded by the ruined tower.
