Wu dong Qian Kun: I, Lin Langtian, Refuse to be a Supporting Character

”Devouring Ancestral Symbol!” The elder’s eyes lit up with intense desire as he stared at the ancient black symbol.

”Kid, so you really do possess the Devouring Ancestral Symbol,” the elder sneered, his voice twisted with malice. ”In that case, I’ll be taking it off your hands!”

With a grin, the elder’s hands formed a seal, summoning a surge of his powerful yuan energy that transformed into a massive hand of energy, pulsating wildly. The hand clawed forward, reaching to snatch away the Devouring Symbol by sheer force.

”Do you really think a decrepit old fossil like you can seize the Devouring Ancestral Symbol? Swallow!” Lin Langtian’s eyes glowed with black flames as the vortex above him expanded, its devouring power multiplying tenfold.

Hiss!

As the devouring force intensified, the elder’s massive hand of yuan energy began to disintegrate, vanishing into the swirling void as its energy was completely absorbed.

”Enough, old wretch—prepare to die!” Lin Langtian shouted, stepping forward with his fist swirling with devouring energy. He launched it towards the elder with a powerful punch.

”Devouring Fist!”

A mass of black holes materialized around his fist as it struck, unleashing a relentless wave of energy that hurtled towards the elder.

”Petty brat! Don’t get so full of yourself!” The elder’s excitement only grew at the sight of the Devouring Ancestral Symbol’s power. This was truly one of the legendary Eight Great Ancestral Symbols. With it, he could rise to a position of power not only in the Nine Heavens Taiqing Palace but across the entire continent.

”For bringing me this precious symbol yourself, I’ll return the favor by sending you straight to the underworld!”

The elder’s hands moved to form a deadly seal, drawing forth flames around him until he seemed like a god of fire, ready to cleave mountains with a single strike. The energy amassed in his palm was beyond intimidating.

”Flame God Cleave!”

A torrent of fire surged, reaching a peak in power as flames burst from his body like a blazing inferno, churning through the sky toward Lin Langtian.

”Such arrogance... You dare claim superiority with mere high-grade martial arts?” Lin Langtian sneered, amused by the elder’s confidence. His own hands began forming a series of intricate seals—a technique known as the Great Desolate Heaven-Shattering Palm.

Amidst the elder’s escalating flame, Lin Langtian smirked coldly. ”If you fancy yourself a Fire God, then I’ll shatter your illusions. Let me show you there is always a sky beyond the sky!” he declared. ”Since you call yourself a god, I’ll answer with the power of a god-destroyer!”

The elder’s eyes narrowed with suspicion, then a scoff. The notion that someone from a lower dynasty could wield techniques beyond high-grade martial arts was absurd. Not even disciples and elders of the Nine Heavens Taiqing Palace held such power.

But despite his disbelief, a flicker of doubt crept in. His heart wavered, and with a quick decision, he accelerated his Fire God Cleave.

Aware of every movement, Lin Langtian smirked, his gaze unwavering as he channeled his full energy into the ancient seals. ”Great Desolate Heaven-Shattering Palm!” he shouted, his voice rumbling like thunder.

In an instant, a massive beam of yuan energy shot from his body, piercing through the sky and tearing open the clouds. The space around it distorted, and from within the void emerged an enormous, ancient-looking hand, black as midnight. It was the hand of a deity, radiating an unstoppable power that seemed capable of obliterating anything in its path.

Boom!

As the giant, ancient palm descended, the sky quaked. Under its force, the very fabric of space began to fracture, revealing a faint figure standing with hands behind their back. Although the figure’s face was obscured, its mere presence silenced the heavens.

”It... It’s a Martial Spirit! A Mystical Martial Art?!”

The world grew still as the elder recognized what he was witnessing, his shrill, trembling voice reverberating through the area. Mystical Martial Arts contained a trace of the creator’s essence, allowing its wielder to summon a spirit representation of their creator. Such arts were powerful enough to reshape mountains and part seas.

”How… How can a lowborn brat possess Mystical Martial Arts?!” The elder was dumbfounded, his eyes fixated on the display, unable to fathom that Lin Langtian—a mere youth from a lower dynasty—could command such mastery.

Crack!

With a shattering sound, the elder’s Flame God Cleave was obliterated, splintering into countless fragments of fiery energy that scattered into the air like dust. The display was one of overwhelming dominance, showing the terrifying might of Mystical Martial Arts.

”Now die, old wretch!” Lin Langtian’s eyes glinted with icy fury as he delivered a final, echoing shout. His words crashed like thunder.

The massive palm moved with devastating speed, crashing down upon the elder, whose face contorted with sheer terror. Unable to dodge, the elder’s fate was sealed as the ancient palm collided with him, its force hammering his body into the earth.

Boom!

A resounding impact echoed as the elder’s body plummeted, striking the ground with the force of a meteor and leaving a massive crater in his wake. His form lay broken amidst the scattered stones, his yuan energy dissipating as he reached the brink of collapse.

As the dust settled, tendrils of sinister black energy rose from the cracks around the elder. Unbeknownst to him, Lin Langtian had infused a trace of the Cursed Power within the Great Desolate Heaven-Shattering Palm.

This time, the elder had no escape.
