Wu dong Qian Kun: I, Lin Langtian, Refuse to be a Supporting Character

A terrifying phenomenon erupted from the Creation Martial Stele, casting a dark, overpowering shadow across the sky. The intense reaction left the crowd speechless as they gazed in awe at the massive shadowy prison in the sky.

”Unbelievable! That Lin Dong is a true prodigy. A display like this has to be the work of a Creation-level martial art!”

”Stunning! Who would’ve thought someone from a branch family of the Lin Clan could possess such talent? The Lin Clan is surely destined to flourish!”

”True, but I wonder if Lin Langtian will unlock something just as powerful, if not stronger…”

As murmurs of shock and excitement echoed around, the shadowy prison above Lin Dong condensed, radiating a powerful energy that rippled outward, shaking the very air around them.

”Creation martial arts!” The crowd watched Lin Dong’s shadowy prison with envious eyes, marveling at the visible potency of his newly acquired martial art.

The elders of the Lin Clan, including Lin Luo, looked on in admiration. A Creation-level martial technique was priceless—a treasure worthy of safeguarding the clan itself. Lin Dong, an outsider to the main family, had unlocked a technique so rare that it was a feat of genius.

”Now that Lin Dong has acquired a Creation technique, I wonder what Langtian’s results will be?” one elder said, turning his gaze to Lin Langtian, who still showed no reaction.

”Langtian is a peerless talent—his mastery of martial arts is unparalleled. I have no doubt he’ll achieve something equally remarkable!” another elder asserted confidently.

The other elders nodded in agreement. Within the Lin Clan, Lin Langtian’s reputation and power had been proven countless times. While Lin Dong was impressive, it would be difficult for him to surpass Lin Langtian.

Suddenly, a powerful wave surged from the Creation Martial Stele, drawing everyone’s attention. The magnitude of the energy was immense, easily matching the intensity of Lin Dong’s earlier display—and then some. Every eye in the crowd was drawn to the stele as if magnetized, aware that only Lin Langtian could produce such a force.

With a deafening roar, a torrent of black light shot from the stele, piercing the heavens. The energy was so overwhelming that the shadowy prison above Lin Dong shifted to the side, making room. The black light in the sky coalesced into an enormous, oppressive shadow shaped like a colossal hand, radiating a terrifying aura that seemed capable of obliterating anything in its path.

”Divine punishment to the gods, and destruction to the Buddha,” someone muttered. The crowd was struck silent, awestruck and fearful of this phenomenon that dwarfed Lin Dong’s shadowy prison. Those with keen perception noticed that the rich energy in the surrounding space had begun to gather rapidly around the stele, flowing towards both Lin Langtian and Lin Dong.

Compared to Lin Dong’s trickle of energy, Lin Langtian received a torrent, his power resembling a mighty river while Lin Dong’s was a mere stream—a reflection of the difference in their strength.

”How is Lin Langtian able to cause such an intense phenomenon?”

”What kind of martial art is this? Could it be beyond even the Creation level?”

”Beyond Creation? But isn’t Creation supposed to be the highest?”

”Hardly! Though we’re unsure what lies beyond it, more powerful levels definitely exist!”

”No, look closer. This energy surge is coming from the stele itself, and both Lin Langtian and Lin Dong seem to have linked to its spirit—that’s why we’re seeing such a powerful display!”

”Look! Lin Langtian’s power is growing—he’s about to break through. Even Lin Dong seems to be advancing into the Condensed Qi stage!”

The whispers quickly evolved into exclamations as the gathering of energy became unmistakable. Lin Luo and the other Lin elders were astonished to see Lin Langtian and Lin Dong successfully linking with the stele’s spirit, and furthermore, absorbing the vast reserve of spiritual energy stored within the stele.

With such an abundance of energy, their breakthrough was practically guaranteed.

”Yes, but regardless, Langtian’s martial technique and the energy he’s receiving far surpass what Lin Dong has acquired,” one elder said, stroking his beard with satisfaction as he gazed up at the ominous black hand in the sky.

While Lin Dong’s prison was intimidating, its presence paled in comparison to the dark giant hand looming above Lin Langtian. His newly acquired martial art must surely be a level above Lin Dong’s.

Under the watchful gaze of countless onlookers, vast torrents of spiritual energy poured into Lin Langtian and Lin Dong. Lin Langtian received the lion’s share of this energy, while Lin Dong took in only a fraction. Yet Lin Langtian absorbed this enormous force with ease, his powerful body and robust Black Flame Physique handling the strain effortlessly.

As the torrent of energy surged for almost ten full minutes, Lin Langtian’s tightly closed eyes suddenly snapped open. An unstoppable force roared through his body like a dragon, rushing towards the sky.

At that moment, Lin Langtian had reached the peak of the Creation Stage. The energy-laden environment of the ancient stele space, combined with the previous energy he had absorbed, had allowed him to condense months of cultivation into moments. His powerful physique let him leap directly to the Creation Stage’s peak.

Turning his head, he observed the dark aura around the nearby black-robed youth, Lin Dong. Sensing the intense energy radiating from him, Lin Langtian muttered to himself:

”The Desolate Prisoner Finger technique and his advancement to the Condensed Qi stage… so it’s still as I expected.”
