Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys

Chapter 842: Chapter 311: Commendation and Reunion (Two-in-One Chapter)_3

Otherwise, just relying on ‘Advanced Extraordinary Comprehension’, Rein would need at least about twenty days to reach the current level.

At this moment, Viery and the others beside him opened their mouths, wanting to say something but not knowing what to say.

These past few days, they were completely shocked by their captain’s abnormal learning ability.

Even the Scroll Master Neoro was at a loss for words with Rein at this moment.

With such an abnormal level of Knight talent, is there even a need to dual-train as a Wizard?

…

Rein, however, was considering another issue.

This extraordinary battle skill, ‘Barrack’s Assassination Dance Steps’, from its name alone reveals some clues. It differs in concept from typical dagger-related extraordinary battle skills.

The founder of this extraordinary battle skill — Barrack, believed that for assassins using daggers, the most crucial aspects are swift attack speed and nimble movability.

Therefore, this extraordinary battle skill he created focuses on enhancing and improving movement speed, while relying on fast and special footwork to create illusions and confuse enemies.

Mastering the secret technique ‘Shadow Step’ actually made up for a shortcoming Rein had.

Originally clad in plate armor, his linear acceleration was not inferior to anyone, but his mobility, honestly, left something to be desired.

But now it was different.

“Should I upgrade Shadow Step to Intermediate Secret Technique?”

Looking at the attribute panel, noting the sixteen remaining Golden Skill Points, Rein thought for a moment and decided to upgrade ‘Shadow Step’ to Intermediate Secret Technique.

After consuming two Golden Skill Points to enhance Barrack’s Assassination Dance Steps and then using one Golden Skill Point to break through, the system notification chimed again:

[Congratulations, you have comprehended Barrack’s Assassination Dance Steps Intermediate Secret Technique: Shadow Step!]

At the same time, on the Weapon Master (Legendary) panel, the icon for Barrack’s Assassination Dance Steps’ secret technique ‘Shadow Step’ changed somewhat.

Within the icon, the slender male wielding a dagger became five figures.

In other words, besides the real person, the number of illusions increased from two to four.

Sure enough, Rein found confirmation in the textual description of the secret technique:

Shadow Step (Intermediate Secret Technique) effect: Utilizes a special footwork combining Original Force and leg power, leaving four additional illusions within a five-meter radius around oneself to confuse enemies.

(Requirements to upgrade Shadow Step to Advanced Secret Technique: 1. Barrack’s Assassination Dance Steps lv16 or above (Proficiency can offset some level requirements); 2. Fire Dragon Breathing Technique lv14 or above; 3. Strength 35 points, Agility 42 points, Constitution 38 points or above; 4. Consumes 2 Golden Skill Points.)

“The range increased, and the number of illusions increased….”

“The practicality of this secret technique is very strong!” Rein rejoiced in his heart.

At the same time.

In Minster City.

Having never been to such a prosperous city, Anna looked around with great curiosity, especially as she ascended Minster City’s main road — Leavenworth Avenue.

The various shops along the way, and the city rising gradually upward, offering a distant view of the expansive Doon Plains, everything made Anna quite awestruck.

After walking a bit more, Anna arrived at the Minster trade district.

The abundance of goods around, the stalls, the people bustling to and fro, left her a bit overwhelmed.

But soon, Anna was suddenly stunned, as she saw herself looking at a tall building with an extremely ornate exterior, lost in thought.

The large sign above clearly read ‘Yakesen Auction House’.

“Is this Yakesen Auction House?” Anna muttered to herself.

“The clue to mother’s disappearance….”

In an instant, the six words ‘Yakesen Auction House’ seemed like a black hole, irresistibly drawing Anna closer.

At this time, in the flow of people entering and exiting the auction house, a middle-aged man wearing a black Wizard Robe, accompanied by several well-equipped personnel, walked out.

The few of them chatted casually:

“I heard Marquis Orrenz hit a tough nail here in Minster and had no choice but to relinquish all the family shares in the Munster branch.”

“That’s right, I heard, too. It is said that the Bloodtop Mercenary Corps was completely wiped out.”

“That powerful? The Scorpion Woman and Iron Man aren’t easy to deal with! Especially the strength of the Bloodtop group’s leader Asimov, which was comparable to the boss. Could they not escape?”

“Indeed, this time, that beautiful woman was the representative of the other side.”

“That beauty? So she’s the new shareholder, truly captivating in appearance. Boss, shall we probe her background?”

“Don’t cause trouble for me! We’re heading to Nome Province tomorrow.” The black-robed middle-aged man said sternly.

However, as the man passed by Anna, he suddenly paused slightly, nostrils twitching.

“Hmm? This scent….” His eyes lit up as if he discovered something.

He then turned to look at the graceful young girl he had just brushed by, carefully sensing.

“No mistake, it was the essence of flora and fauna, is this girl a rare Nature-type Wizard?” The middle-aged man showed contemplation, thought for a moment, and appeared to stroke a ring on his hand directed towards Anna.

Seemingly having drawn a hint of Anna’s aura, the ring emitted a faint green light.

“No, this… this is the aura of a Druid? Is she an Elf?” The middle-aged man’s eyes widened suddenly, then he stared at Anna’s graceful figure with a meaningful smile.
