Chapter 810: Chapter 303: Phantom Strike (Two-in-One Chapter)_3

However, to settle this within a few days, naturally, points need to be added to cover lv9, 10, 11, which require a large amount of experience and take the longest time.

In these few days, by continuously crafting secret silver engraved plate armor, Rein has raised the Great Armor Forger (Transcendent) to lv6, thereby gaining two skill points and two attribute points again.

Adding the one original skill point, it totals three skill points.

Without much hesitation, Rein invested all 3 skill points, directly boosting the Shadow Spear Throwing Technique to lv12.

Instantly, a surge of training memory about the Shadow Spear Throwing Technique flooded into Rein’s mind, quickly integrating into his muscles and fascia memory.

In that moment, it seemed as though he alone, in a mysterious space, had undergone painstaking training in the Shadow Spear Throwing Technique for over a decade.

Simultaneously, Rein faintly felt that he was merely a step away from the subsequent derivative secret technique of this combat skill.

Faced with such a situation, there wasn’t much to consider.

Continue adding points!

With the investment of 1 Golden Skill Point, the Shadow Spear Throwing Technique successfully stepped into lv13, and the system’s prompt regarding the secret technique finally echoed:

[Congratulations, you have comprehended the Basic Secret Technique of Shadow Spear Throwing Technique: Phantom Strike!]

…

“Phantom Strike, settled!”

“Now with only three Extraordinary Battle Technique secret techniques under different weapon categories left, the requirement for the job change can be satisfied.”

At the same time, Rein noticed a brand new icon on the Weapon Master (Legendary) panel, located right above the ‘Shadow Spear Throwing Technique’.

Within the icon, the pattern showed a strong man holding a short spear, his whole body lunging forward, with a long spear already thrown out ahead, yet he seemed to still be holding a long spear in his hand.

Upon closer inspection, one could recognize that the long spear in the man’s hand was actually a residual spear shadow, thus appearing slightly blurred.

On the lower left, the textual description of the secret technique is as follows:

Phantom Strike (Basic Secret Technique) effect: Uses a special force method combining Original Force and throwing to swiftly launch the spear-like weapon in hand, creating a strike with strong penetration power.

(To upgrade Phantom Strike to Intermediate Secret Technique, must meet the following conditions: First, Shadow Spear Throwing Technique above lv14; Second, Fire Dragon Breathing Technique above lv12; Third, Strength above 32 points, Agility above 35 points, Constitution above 32 points; Fourth, consuming 1 Golden Skill Point.)

Although Rein still had three Golden Skill Points left at the moment, he did not immediately think of upgrading ‘Phantom Strike’ to Intermediate Secret Technique.

He plans to reserve them for the secret techniques of the remaining three Extraordinary Battle Techniques.

“Angus, let’s start.” Rein, eager to try the newly acquired secret technique, naturally wanted to test it.

“Alright, Captain.” After resting, Angus was in great spirits, seen heavily striking with sword and shield as he walked to the center of the field.

“By the way, Neoro, give Angus a defense-oriented witchcraft.” Rein thought for a moment and said.

“Hmm?”

Rein’s words immediately made the four people including Angus look at him in surprise.

“Just had some comprehension, might not control the force when striking.” Rein explained.

“I see, alright, Captain.”

Neoro nodded, softly chanting a spell, soon casting a Water Membrane Technique defensive witchcraft on Angus’s surface.

Seeing Angus holding his shield ready for defense, Rein nodded indicating he was about to start.

In the next second, everyone distinctly saw the steel spear still in Rein’s hand, yet a silver spear shadow suddenly appeared before Angus.

“Clang!!!” an earsplitting metallic clash sound rang.

Angus retreated seven or eight steps, and the Water Membrane Technique on his surface was already pierced through, while the specially made hardened essence gold shield was nearly pierced through too!

Meanwhile, Neoro, Evelyn, and Viery watched in shock!

This is called comprehension?

Directly comprehended the secret technique!

Neoro watched with a twitching eye, because with the current spear throwing power of Rein, formal wizards with insufficient defense power in some innate wizardries, would likely be taken down in one spear.

A bit stronger ones, at most two spears and they’re done.

With the Captain mastering this short spear throwing, it’s akin to a wizard-killer.

“Thud thud thud!”

“Ah, Lady Olena.” After some interactions, Rein’s team became familiar with Olena, the deputy of the task hall.

“Hello, Lord Viery.” Olena nodded slightly to greet Viery who opened the door.

At the same time, she turned to Rein and said: “Lord Rein, the appointment time with Master Mogaro is approaching, shall we depart now?”

“Of course. Just give me a moment.”

“Neoro, you all can continue. I should be back shortly.”

Rein placed the long spear down, tidied up a bit, and set off.

….

In the carriage.

Rein and Olena sat facing each other.

In the past few days, Rein further understood the cooperation model between the Sword Bearer organization and other Wizard Schools.

Although the introduction letter of Sword Bearers is essentially a token, allowing Sword Bearers to directly enter a Wizard School for learning, but this learning is more like short-term training.

It’s normal, considering spending three months to half a year, what’s learned is naturally superficial, unable to touch any core knowledge.

But for most Sword Bearers on the wizard path, this is already enough.

However, Rein’s situation is slightly different from ordinary people.

Firstly, he truly intends to learn something.
