Chapter 838: Chapter 310 Advanced Meditation Method (2-in-1 Chapter)_3

In the current situation, every bit of strength improvement increases the confidence in dealing with crises.

As Rein focused his attention on the talent ‘Intermediate Weapon Mastery (Passive)’, a system notification soon appeared:

[Congratulations, your talent ‘Intermediate Weapon Mastery (Passive)’ has been upgraded to ‘Intermediate Weapon Mastery (Passive)’!]

Rein immediately checked this intermediate talent of ‘Intermediate Weapon Mastery (Passive)’.

The text description was as follows:

[Weapon Master (Legendary) Exclusive Talent: Intermediate Weapon Mastery (Passive)]

Effect of Intermediate Weapon Mastery (Passive): The Weapon Master has a natural familiarity with various weapons, and using any weapon brings the ‘Mastery Level 2’ effect.

(Note: ‘Hammer Mastery Level 3’ remains unchanged due to exceeding this effect.)

After thinking for a bit, Rein casually transformed the Hardened Essence Gold into a throwing spear.

And when he held the throwing spear, he clearly felt the difference from before.

He had an added sense of familiarity, a feeling of greater ease of control.

From the text description, this was because his all-weapon mastery had been upgraded from level 1 to level 2.

Additionally, after improving to level 2, there was another major benefit.

With the support of all-weapon category mastery level 2, it will be easier for him to comprehend the secret technique in his subsequent extraordinary battle techniques.

“Level 11 might be enough.”

“Considering I still have 3 skill points, that means after upgrading the extraordinary battle technique to level 10, with an additional point, I can basically comprehend the secret technique.”

“If that’s the case… uh… it might only take three to four days for me to master a new secret technique.”

“That is to say, in the quickest nine days or at most half a month, I could change profession to the epic-level profession ‘King of Thousand Blades’!” Rein quickly calculated the approximate time needed for his job change.

This greatly reassured Rein and made him show a slight smile of excitement on his face.

“However… which weapon category should I choose for the next extraordinary battle technique?”

Unintentionally, Rein glanced at the adjacent trophy cabinet.

He found that there were more than three daggers placed inside, yet he had never cultivated any dagger-type extraordinary battle technique.

“Eh, is it possible that I have a natural aversion to the assassin profession?”

Rein thought for a moment and couldn’t help but laugh.

“Then… next, I’ll choose the dagger.”

Having made his decision, Rein quickly went out and headed to the exchange hall.

Actually, with Rein’s current level, having relatively complete melee and ranged attack methods, learning any extraordinary battle technique wasn’t that crucial.

Rein planned to first learn a dagger-type extraordinary battle technique.

Next, he would consider learning a long-handled weapon, such as a riding spear, to use in conjunction with riding the Fast Stepping Horned Horse ‘Little Black’.

As for the ninth secret technique…

Rein hadn’t decided yet.

…

Half an hour later, Rein returned to his room with a sheepskin scroll in his hand.

After sitting at his desk and opening the scroll, he saw several big words written on it—’Barrack’s Assassination Dance Steps’, and couldn’t help but smile and nod.

This was the dagger-type extraordinary battle technique Rein had just exchanged for.

As for why he chose this one?

The reason was simple.

Because the price to exchange for this one was the highest, higher than other dagger-type extraordinary battle techniques!

Perhaps because Rein had experience using short blades like the Finger Tiger, this time, it only took him a few minutes to grasp the basics of ‘Barrack’s Assassination Dance Steps’.

So, Rein went to the training room next door, instantly transformed two daggers, and began practicing.

The system notifications popped up like a revolving lantern:

[You have trained in Barrack’s Assassination Dance Steps, related comprehension improved!]

[Your skill Barrack’s Assassination Dance Steps has improved, experience +3]

…

The system notified an experience gain of three every six to seven seconds, which was in stark contrast to the previous experience gain of one.

In just over ten minutes, Barrack’s Assassination Dance Steps entered level 2.

This incredible speed delighted Rein immensely!

“Is this the effect of the advanced talent ‘Advanced Extraordinary Comprehension’? Amazing!”

Although Rein had predicted this situation earlier, when it actually happened, he couldn’t hide the joy in his heart.

After about half an hour more, Barrack’s Assassination Dance Steps advanced to level 3!

And in less than an hour, it reached level 4!

“This speed is unheard of!”

“It’s comparable to a rocket’s ascension.”

Rein himself felt it was a bit exaggerated.

“Knock, knock, knock!”

At this moment, a knocking sound came, and when Rein opened the door, he saw Neoro, Viery, and other team members had arrived.

“Captain!”

“Captain Rein!”

“Please come in.”

Since Rein moved into the suite for a Diamond Star Swordsman, equipped with a separate training room, it had also become a gathering place for Rein’s team.

Everyone would come here regardless of whether there was a reason or not.

“Eh, Captain, are you practicing daggers?” Viery, with sharp eyes, immediately noticed the difference in the weapon Rein was holding this time.

What made him more curious was that it was the first time he saw Rein using a dagger.

“Yes, Captain, I remember you were practicing the throwing spear a few days ago. Why the change to daggers today?” Angus, beside him, looked puzzled as well.
