Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

After handing over the Enchanting Demon to Lotcar for management, Yang Yu walked to the entrance of the underground prison passage and began clearing the way.

While suppressing the Count Blood, Yang Yu was very concerned that the Count Blood might escape and flee into the underground prison.

The underground prison hosts countless ”livestock” raised by the Count Blood. If he runs there and replenishes his magic power by sucking the blood of young girls, turning the battlefield underground again, it might not be as easy to defeat him as it is now. A hard-fought battle would be inevitable.

Therefore, until the moment the Count Blood detonated, Yang Yu kept a close watch on him, not giving him any opportunity to perform any tricks.

Unfortunately, the Count Blood did resort to such a move.

Yang Yu decided that in the next operation, he must also consider the self-detonation of high-level enemies, or else today’s incident will happen again.

The passageway to the underground was very deep, mostly blocked by stones. Helot and He Meng used their flexible bodies to pass through the gaps in the obstructions and, along with Yang Yu, cleared the passage completely.

Some black magic was channeled to the underground prison through the passage left by the Count Blood, but it didn’t affect those held inside the prison much.

Upon entering the underground prison again, as soon as Yang Yu appeared, the young girls confined there sprang into action.

Some asked what the huge explosion just now was about; some continuously begged Yang Yu and his team to take them out from there; but more hesitated to make a sound, retreating to the other side. They had witnessed hope being shattered too many times and didn’t want to hear words from Yang Yu that would dash their hopes, or face the spectacle of hope being shattered.

Upon entering this level, Yang Yu knew he couldn’t ignore the voices of these young girls anymore, but he still walked quickly to the front of the prison director he had previously knocked out, letting Helot devour the prison director and extract various toxins from his body.

Then, Yang Yu lit the oil lamp and slowly began to speak:

”I can rescue you, and even help you remove the toxins from your bodies, but all this comes with conditions.

I’ve just dealt with that guy, but I can’t be sure that guy was just an avatar.

Our energy is limited, and we can’t take care of everyone. When facing strong enemies, we will prioritize handling them.

If any accidents happen along the way, I hope you’ll bear the consequences yourselves.

However, as long as you don’t cause trouble and follow unified arrangements, we can still ensure your safety to a certain extent.

Remember, after I lead you out of here, you must follow all my arrangements.

When to leave this island is also up to me. If you have any complaints, you can stay on this island.

If you agree to this, there’s no harm in letting you out.”

The young girls looked at each other, swallowed their saliva, uncertain if they were jumping from one hell to another.

However, they believed the man in front of them would not casually appear here to have a conflict with the Count Blood.

After all these years, it was only Yang Yu who caused such a commotion. Even if Yang Yu was a bad person, he wouldn’t be as bad as the Count Blood. He certainly wouldn’t treat them as livestock to be raised.

Ultimately, all the girls in the prison unanimously agreed to Yang Yu’s demands.

Yang Yu, while wielding his sword to cut through the cages and release the girls, proceeded to the next level of the prison.

Upon reaching the second level, Yang Yu repeated his previous actions.

Only when the prisoners agreed to all his conditions would Yang Yu release those ”prisoners” from the prison.

After releasing the powerful individuals in the second level, Yang Yu proceeded to the third level of the prison.

The poison fog here hadn’t completely dissipated yet, and Helot jumped onto Yang Yu’s head, putting a slime cover on him.

He Meng had originally wanted to jump onto Yang Yu’s head to demonstrate her usefulness, but seeing Helot step forward first, she begrudgingly transformed into the form of a girl, following Yang Yu.

The third level of the prison had been the main battlefield between Yang Yu and the Count Blood, with continuous poison fog and rampant black magic. Yang Yu didn’t think anyone could survive under such conditions, but he still carefully checked each cell just in case.

Most of the cells were empty, but in a few that had people... those people had already lost their vital signs due to the Count Blood’s poison fog and black magic.

Just as Yang Yu thought all the cells would be like this, a cell that had been forcibly smashed open appeared before them.

Upon closer inspection, the bloody shackles had been violently thrown to the ground, creating a large pit.

The size of the shackles was enormously large, about one and a half basketballs big. If converted to human size, the person who could wear these shackles would have their head touching the ceiling. Yang Yu and his team couldn’t possibly not notice such a gigantic presence.

Next to the enormous shackles, Yang Yu saw a much smaller set of shackles.

It seemed to belong to a race with unusually proportioned limbs.

Yang Yu quickly searched his mind for related race information and instantly remembered a spiky-horned, giant-armed woman he had once seen beside the Count Blood.

Through investigation, Yang Yu discovered that the spiky-horned, giant-armed woman was not from this world’s race but a native demon race, and was an exceptionally rare and precious demon race, with giant arms that were almost unstoppable.

Yang Yu had prepared many countermeasures for her, but those strategies couldn’t be used at all yet.

Yang Yu thought the spiky-horned, giant-armed woman had been sent somewhere by the Count Blood, but it turned out she just had a falling out with the Count Blood and was imprisoned.

After thoroughly searching the surroundings, apart from those two bloody shackles, Yang Yu didn’t find any other traces left by the spiky-horned, giant-armed woman.

”This isn’t good.”

The spiky-horned, giant-armed woman had made ample preparations and apparently anticipated the Count Blood’s betrayal, leaving herself an escape route.

It can be confirmed that the spiky-horned, giant-armed woman is truly part of the Demon King’s Vanguard.

With the Demon King’s descent not far away, letting such a person escape at this critical moment might lead her to cause some trouble elsewhere.

No one knows if she has left this island yet. If she hasn’t, efforts should be made to capture her.

Resolute in his decision, Yang Yu decided to casually glance at the contents below the fourth layer and then quickly return to the surface to organize a search party.

Before Yang Yu could take a step, a small fish floated out from Yang Yu’s chest.

Yang Yu received a communication from Bai Jin: ”Yang Yu, is everything okay on your end?”

”For now, yes. Is something wrong?”

Bai Jin nodded seriously: ”I can sense a massive surge of magic power gathering towards the center of this island. I haven’t felt the onset of any magic yet, but this abnormal surge of magic power is definitely no small matter! Something is coming.”
