Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Light? Sunlight actually got through!

Why! Wasn’t she conducting the second probe? Why wasn’t there an alarm about the barrier being lifted?

Did that woman deceive me too?

The scorching sunlight burned the back; Count Blood felt as if his whole body was about to burst into flames, painfully hot.

Without thinking more, Count Blood dove headfirst into the nearby shadows.

The nearby shadows were not much safer; because of the Enchanting Demon’s Black Magic, the walls were riddled with holes, letting sunlight seep through. Count Blood simply rammed into the wall, trying to hide in a room where shadows prevailed.

Unfortunately, the price for being ageless and undead is that vampires are weakened under sunlight.

With Count Blood’s current weak body, it was clearly impossible to break through the meticulously crafted wall with one strike. He and the wall had a close encounter, leaving a huge crater on the wall.

Rosalind and the other Enchanting Demons shielded Count Blood from the sunlight with their bodies, creating a shadowy area to give Count Blood a moment of respite.

Stroking the burn that spread from the back of his head to his cheeks, Count Blood gradually calmed down.

”The Eternal Night Barrier hasn’t been completely lifted yet; the light that’s gotten through is only a small part, no need to panic. The thing to watch out for is that man, he’s not far away, who knows if he’ll use this sunlight to do something.”

Count Blood decided to retreat temporarily to the depths of the island. With the island’s resources, they could hold out until nightfall. Once night falls, Yang Yu and his team would be in trouble.

”Delay them; I need to rest for a while.”

Receiving Count Blood’s order, Rosalind could only offer a bitter smile. Even their master has been beaten to this state by Yang Yu and his team; could they really stop Yang Yu and his team?

Even if they can’t, Rosalind could only grit her teeth and proceed,

”Following the master’s will, we will at all costs stop them.”

No sooner had Rosalind spoken than a wave of Holy Light surged from the ground, as Iyas used Sacred Ripples to push back the Enchanting Demons entangled with them and used a purification skill to dispel Yang Yu’s abnormal status.

A red light blossomed in Yang Yu’s eyes, as he stepped onto the rubble, moving swiftly through the dust, and in a blink of an eye, appeared before all the Enchanting Demons.

Lot leaped from Yang Yu, his body shedding countless blue water droplets, rapidly transforming into sharp Slime Long Spears aimed at the crowd of Enchanting Demons shading the sunlight.

Lot, like a commanding king, gave the order to slaughter under the barrage of long spears.

In an instant, countless sharp long spears shot toward the clustered Enchanting Demons with thunderous speed.

The Enchanting Demons erected Shields for defense, but Lot manipulated the spears to focus the attack on a point, breaking a large hole through.

Dazzling sunlight shone through the hole, illuminating Yang Yu standing in the unreachable sunlight for Count Blood. He put away his Shield, and a shining item with a rope attached appeared in his hand.

Count Blood sensed something ominous; Magic Power surged in his hand as he attempted to unleash Poison Fog to attack Yang Yu.

Just then, Yang Yu adjusted the angle, the polished surface of the mirror reflecting the intense sunlight onto Count Blood’s face.

The scenery in his eyes being replaced by brightness, Count Blood’s face seemed as if thrown into a furnace, the sunlight burning his once pale cheeks into black and gray, transforming his once handsome face into something reminiscent of a ghoul.

Instinctively, Count Blood raised his hand to block the sunlight. In his eyes, his hand seemed like ignited charcoal, red spreading only to turn gray, as his body gradually turned to ash and disappeared.

Survival instincts drove Count Blood to retreat into a corner untouched by sunlight, but how could his speed surpass light?

Yang Yu caught Lot steadily, running along the wall, adjusting the mirror’s angle so the sunlight would continue shining on Count Blood.

The sunlight inflicted damage upon Count Blood while also weakening his attributes. Yet it didn’t match the description in Count Blood’s special traits, where it stated a loss of twenty percent Blood Volume per second and an eighty percent all-attribute decline. The loss in Blood Volume and attribute decline depended entirely on the amount of sunlight and which parts of Count Blood were exposed.

The special description pertained to the ideal condition of Count Blood being completely exposed to sunlight, whereby regardless of the Equipment Count Blood wore, he would turn to ash in five seconds.

The good news now is, under sunlight, Count Blood’s limbs would disintegrate, losing certain functionalities.

The bad news now is, under sunlight, Count Blood’s limbs would disintegrate, meaning Count Blood could sacrifice certain parts to protect vital organs.

Adjusting his posture, Count Blood sacrificed a whole arm to block the sunlight reflected by Yang Yu’s mirror, buying himself time. As long as the Enchanting Demons could once again shroud the sunlight, or if they could corrode a path with poison, there would still be a chance of escaping.

As expected by Count Blood, the Enchanting Demons banded together in mid-air, attempting to cover the sunlight again.

But before they could unite, a barrage of dense Water Bullets unexpectedly bombarded them. Turning to the side, a uniquely triangular flying object was rushing toward them.

The triangular object showed no intention of stopping, charging into the group of Enchanting Demons at high speed, creating an opening for Yang Yu’s side to let the sunlight stream in anew.

Meanwhile, Bai Jin stood over his newly created opening, raising his Magic Wand. He could feel the Barrier user’s Magic Power weakening. The opening expanded and contracted, gradually enlarging and completely enveloping Count Blood’s castle.

The area Count Blood could move within grew increasingly smaller, with Yang Yu protected by the Slimes getting closer. Count Blood’s eyes darted to Rosalind, who was nearing to shield him from the sunlight.

A dangerous yet audacious plan formed in Count Blood’s mind.

Yang Yu’s warrior physique meant he couldn’t linger in the air for long, and the Slimes were extremely weak in terms of Attack. Those were their vulnerabilities.

Without hesitation, Count Blood pushed off the wall, dragging his fatigued body, leaping into the sunlight. Despite the risk of being roasted by sunlight, he lunged into Rosalind’s embrace, his damaged hand latching onto Rosalind’s neck, then without hesitating, drove his fangs into her neck, frantically sucking her Magic Power and Life Force.

Rosalind widened her eyes in disbelief, her arms hanging limply.

Yang Yu hadn’t anticipated Count Blood would execute such a desperate act, actively placing himself under the sunlight.

But Yang Yu could foresee that Count Blood wanted to absorb his subordinate’s Magic Power and Life Force to keep stacking Sacrifice Regeneration, enabling himself to endure under sunlight for a while. Then, using that time, escape to somewhere the sunlight couldn’t reach temporarily for full recovery.

Hualan was still on the cliffside, and if Count Blood happened to choose that side, whether out of revenge or to replenish his Magic Power, he would definitely attack Hualan!

Yang Yu’s eyes burned with determination; today, this matter had to be settled here!
