Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Red Blade Doron’s blood volume rapidly declined, dropping from 27% to 17%, and then from 17% down to 10%.....

Even with his own attributes doubled and the substantial buffs from auxiliary skills, Yang Yu couldn’t solve the problem with a single strike. Instead, like a diligent stonebreaker, he chipped away at the remaining blood volume of Red Blade Doron with each hit.

From the rough judgment of Yang Yu’s location based on the attack positions, Red Blade Doron drove countless blood-red crescent blades towards Yang Yu.

Yang Yu agilely dodged, not determined to attack in one spot, striking the sharp sword blade repeatedly on Red Blade Doron’s dragon scales.

The damage was insufficient, but it could accumulate over time.

Under the dual assault of Yang Yu and Iyas, Red Blade Doron’s blood volume finally dropped below 5%.

Seeing that even the skills she released at the risk of injury couldn’t deal with Yang Yu, Red Blade Doron stopped all actions, spread her arms, and emitted a peculiar dangerous aura from her body.

Without any warning, a bright glow radiated from beneath Red Blade Doron’s scales.

This glow was exactly the same as when they encountered Water Purification Doron’s self-destruction before landing on the island.

Play self-destruction when you can’t win, is this the tradition of goblin offspring?

Or is she planning to utilize self-destruction to escape from here?

After two blows, Red Blade Doron’s blood bar no longer moved, Yang Yu stopped his actions, put his fingers to his mouth, and blew a loud whistle.

Upon hearing this loud whistle, Iyas pulled out the [Goddess’s Smile] from her chest, Lotcar stopped in his tracks, and turned to rush towards Yang Yu with full strength.

Tightly grasping Lotcar’s long fur, Luo Luosi’s brows furrowed, her face filled with confusion and anxiety. She could see that Red Blade Doron wanted to detonate herself in a final struggle.

But in such a short time, could Lotcar catch Yang Yu and escape the range of Red Blade Doron’s explosion?

Before Luo Luosi could think further, Lotcar had already reached Red Blade Doron’s side, looking up at Yang Yu.

Putting away his sword, Yang Yu charged from Red Blade Doron’s shoulder to the ground.

At this point, Red Blade Doron’s entire body had shattered into fragments, with violent energy transforming into a dazzling light, erupting outward from her body.

The blood-red crescent blades that were relentlessly tracking Yang Yu were influenced by this violent energy, veering off their trajectories and crashing into surrounding fallen trees.

In an instant, the light exploded.

Pure white light, accompanied by terrifying energy, rapidly spread outwards, swallowing everything quickly.

Sure enough, couldn’t make it in time, Luo Luosi continuously wove numerous tangible shells, not knowing how much damage her shells could block, but now she could only try.

What Luo Luosi didn’t expect was that before she could do anything, Iyas pressed her necklace.

A golden light shield immediately unfolded rapidly from her as the center.

Flipping once in the air, Yang Yu utilized the [Incredible Braking Shoes] to land steadily in front of Iyas and the others, enveloped in this light shield.

The violent energy struck fiercely against the shield enveloping Iyas and the others.

Just like water hitting a giant stone, the violent energy completely bypassed the shield, spreading outward at unimaginable speed.

The light shield called forth by Iyas showed no signs of change.

It was as if nothing could penetrate this light shield.

Luo Luosi widened her eyes, completely unable to believe the scene before her.

Before her surprise could last long, Yang Yu’s voice brought her back from her astonishment.

”Don’t be dazed. Iyas, healing. Everyone else get behind my back, quick speed!”

Upon receiving Yang Yu’s instruction, Iyas didn’t dare to neglect, putting away the [Goddess’s Smile], she immediately jumped off Lotcar, placing her hands on Yang Yu’s back, channeling Holy Light for healing.

Lotcar swiftly reverted his transformation, grabbed the half-floating Luo Luosi, and without saying a word, pressed against Yang Yu’s back, quite skillfully.

Taking out the Flame Dragon Shield again, Yang Yu positioned the heavy shield in front of himself.

Taking advantage of the time when Iyas’s healing hadn’t fully taken effect, Yang Yu, using attributes that hadn’t returned to normal, activated [Interception].

An Illusion Shield rapidly unfolded in front of Yang Yu.

[Goddess’s Smile]’s active skill, [Holy Light’s Blessing], while powerful, only lasted a few seconds, not enough to completely withstand Red Blade Doron’s self-destruction.

The light shield gradually dimmed, and violent energy surged forward, Yang Yu raised his shield, blocking the remaining explosion for his companions behind him.

Yang Yu originally wanted to save [Goddess’s Smile] for use against the Goblin Emperor, but now, he’s unsure if they truly have the qualification to challenge the Goblin Emperor.

[Goddess’s Smile]’s active skill is the life-saving skill among life-saving skills, even Yang Yu’s [Shield Shattering] can’t break it.

Precisely because it’s a life-saving skill among life-saving skills, this active effect must not be used carelessly.

Now, Yang Yu had Iyas use it after careful consideration.

Yang Yu knew of certain oaths followed by giant dragons.

Only if the Evil Dragon exhibits a certain level of strength, will the dragons take action; otherwise, they observe the Evil Dragon as part of history.

Given the Goblin Emperor’s strength, if she wished to help her child, Yang Yu and his team would struggle to manage.

However, she did not do so.

Perhaps she’s worried she couldn’t control her strength, violating the dragons’ oath and provoking their intervention.

Alternatively, she might just want her offspring to undergo proper honing.

Before the Goblin Emperor transformed into a giant dragon, this was her usual tactic for nurturing offspring.

Although Yang Yu still didn’t know the Goblin Emperor’s exact strength level, judging from her confident attitude, this task is highly likely to end in failure.

Given the likelihood of failure, at least they need to leave some spoils that would attract the dragons’ attention, to exchange for useful rewards.

It was with this consideration that Yang Yu had Iyas use [Holy Light’s Blessing] now.

If Red Blade Doron wanted to flee like Water Purification Doron, Yang Yu could take action from close range.

However, what happened was something that Yang Yu never expected.

As the explosion gradually subsided, nearly five kilometers around Red Blade Doron turned into scorched earth.

Red Blade Doron hovered in midair, burned by her own released magic power, her body charred black.

Seeing Yang Yu and his companions unharmed, Red Blade Doron widened her solo eye, filled with surprise.

The final bit of blood volume in Red Blade Doron’s blood bar finally couldn’t hold out, quickly dropped to zero in an instant.

Like a kite with a broken string, Red Blade Doron plummeted straight to the ground, turning into a pile of black charcoal.

The eye on the charcoal reluctantly and slowly closed.
