Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Affected by [Defense Tear], Yang Yu’s defense attribute dropped by 30%.

However, Yang Yu hadn’t invested any free attribute points in defense, so the drop in defense didn’t bother him much.

The vertical claw attack had just ended, and in the blink of an eye, Red Blade Doron’s sharp claws were again in front of Yang Yu.

She crossed her claws in front of her chest, the red light in her eyes flashing continuously, as if she had Yang Yu firmly locked in.

This was not an illusion.

Yang Yu truly felt his body become a bit heavier, and a status with a three-blood-scar pattern appeared on his panel.

——[Hunting Feast],locks onto a target, reducing the target’s movement speed by 20%, with the next hit dealing an additional 50% damage and having a 50% chance of a critical hit.

This skill is somewhat similar to Yang Yu’s [Hunter] skill, but its unlimited use makes it many times more effective than Yang Yu’s [Hunter].

Yang Yu’s [Hunter] skill only gives a speed boost when moving toward an enemy.

Besides, if you miss your target by too much due to [Hunter], losing pursuit range, not only is extra damage lost, but the speed boost also disappears, making it less useful in practice than imagined.

Yang Yu hardly used this skill, and along with [Metal Hardening Defense], it was happily collecting dust in the system.

It’s not that Yang Yu didn’t want to use [Metal Hardening Defense].

It was only after learning and actually using it that he found the material components for making advanced shields varied, and the effects were too inconsistent.

Who knows what materials the craftsmen used when making shields.

The performance of [Metal Hardening Defense] on different shields made Yang Yu suspect that in this world, metal shields are the oddity.

Furthermore, [Metal Hardening Defense] causes a certain durability loss to items, and each practice session decreases the equipment’s attributes a bit.

This is something only someone with a system could discover.

Using this skill too frequently could lead to equipment breakdown, so Yang Yu consciously restrained its use.

It is said that legendary equipment has self-repair functions, and Yang Yu could only hope to get legendary quality swords and shields in the future to try using this skill again.

With his speed reduced by [Hunting Feast], Yang Yu’s mind raced into action.

[Steel Body] and [Copper Wall Iron Curtain] still had some duration left, and Red Blade Doron hurriedly launched an attack.

It seemed like she was planning to use a torrent of attacks for complete suppression.

Red Blade Doron was quickly upon him, and Yang Yu’s [Shadow Blue Shattered Ice] suddenly vanished, replaced by a heavy Dragon Head Shield.

Activating [Red Blood Path], Yang Yu actually charged at Red Blade Doron.

Red Blade Doron’s hands hadn’t even spread apart to release a skill before Yang Yu’s shield was in front of her, and she crashed into it.

Using her hind legs, Red Blade Doron easily stopped Yang Yu’s [Red Blood Path] by exploiting the power difference between them.

The skill [Red Blood Path] requires overwhelming strength to exert maximum effect.

With strength far inferior to Red Blade Doron, Yang Yu couldn’t continue to push the shield forward.

Even Red Blade Doron was a bit surprised by this result; Yang Yu had managed to fend off one of her moves just now, indicating the power gap shouldn’t be that large...

Was that shadow some kind of skill?

Red Blade Doron didn’t know about the [Shadow Deception] skill but quickly concluded that the problem lay with Yang Yu’s skill.

Before Red Blade Doron could recall the details of Yang Yu using [Shadow Deception], suddenly, the Flame Dragon Shield in front of her erupted with countless scorching flames, engulfing her completely in an instant.

The Flame Dragon Shield, due to Yang Yu’s attack, released its active effect.

Jumping backward, Red Blade Doron leaped out of the blazing inferno, swinging her claws left and right, sending three Wind Blades slicing through the flames and striking the shield.

The massive Flame Dragon Shield was blasted back dozens of meters in an instant, and Red Blade Doron, having adjusted herself, cast several enhancement magic spells on herself in a row, cutting through the flames and charging toward the shield that was blasted away.

However, when Red Blade Doron circled behind the shield, preparing to slaughter Yang Yu, she only saw a flickering shadow, ready to disappear at any moment.

Where had that guy gone? Just as Red Blade Doron was puzzled, Yang Yu suddenly attacked from behind her.

Using the [Escape Expert] and [Sudden Killing Intent] skills, Yang Yu rolled around the shield, slipping behind Red Blade Doron when she came to check, and activated [Fury Blood].

Clad in what seemed like a red war garment, Yang Yu aimed at Red Blade Doron’s back and struck ferociously.

Red Blade Doron couldn’t react in time; her turning claw missing Yang Yu’s sword blade by a hair, and Yang Yu’s long sword struck down on Red Blade Doron’s shoulder.

Red Blade Doron tried to harden the dragon scales on her shoulder to block Yang Yu’s attack, but Yang Yu’s sword blade seemed to have a special magic, bypassing the defense of her transformed scales, shaking her internal magic power and causing direct damage.

Taking the hit, Red Blade Doron didn’t ponder over how Yang Yu’s skills caused her harm; boundless magic surged from her body, causing the ground to explode repeatedly out of nowhere, raising clouds of dust.

Red Blade Doron seized this opportunity, her sharp claws stabbing toward Yang Yu’s head.

Yang Yu leaned back, once again dodging Red Blade Doron’s claws, ignoring the swirling dust and continuous explosions around, he retracted his sword, planting it into the ground as a fulcrum.

While preventing himself from falling, Yang Yu also used the sword as a pivot to punch Red Blade Doron in the jaw.

Turning his body, Yang Yu hooked Red Blade Doron’s jaw, tossing her away and slamming her into a big tree.

Inserting her claws into the tree, she just barely avoided a close encounter with the trunk, but as Red Blade Doron was surprised by Yang Yu’s blow, his next attack was already in front of her.

Red Blade Doron extended a claw to block Yang Yu’s attack, but to her surprise, Yang Yu effortlessly dodged her sharp claws with his speed advantage, circling behind her to launch a relentless assault on her back.

Before entering this forest, Yang Yu hadn’t let Iyas fully heal him, instead keeping his blood volume at a certain level to activate [Fury Blood] at a moment’s notice.

After taking so many fierce attacks from Red Blade Doron, Yang Yu’s [Fury Blood] had long since been triggered.

Following the ’use early, refresh cooldown early’ science logic, Yang Yu poured all his offense onto Red Blade Doron without hesitation.

As if magic power throughout her body was screaming, Red Blade Doron stopped dwelling on the boasts she shared with Yang Yu earlier. Her entire body shone brightly, her form enlarging, transforming in the blink of an eye into a giant dragon with scythe-like claws.

A dragon like this was something Yang Yu had seen before.

Red Blade Doron and Dragon Breaker No. 001 looked almost the same.

Other than gender, she hadn’t had much genetic alteration and was born just like that.
