Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Bai Jin recognized this uninvited guest; she was the adventurer covered in blood whom they encountered earlier in the forest.

At that time, Yang Yu had them leave first, while he stayed behind alone to look after the adventurer.

Bai Jin had sensed something unusual about Yang Yu’s behavior back then, wondering if this could be a trap...

Yang Yu chose to stay behind alone because he likely detected the trap and did not want to delay the group’s support, hence instructing them to leave first.

Now, with this adventurer appearing here nonchalantly through the transmission tunnel, it proves she indeed is an enemy.

Bai Jin immediately shifted her aim from Blala Doren to the Red Blade Doron in front of her, quickly firing several Frost Ice Arrows from her magic array.

Red Blade Doron spread her claws, and with a few flashes of light, all the flying Frost Ice Arrows were shattered, disappearing into countless ice crystals in the air.

Seeing Frost Ice Arrows ineffective, Bai Jin quickly changed tactics to use an incorporeal Lightning Magic.

In an instant, several electric snakes intertwined and shot out from Bai Jin’s magic array, striking at Red Blade Doron with the swiftness of a thunderbolt.

Once again, Red Blade Doron swiftly sliced through the lightning with her claws, turning the streaks of white lightning into fading glimmers.

Bai Jin considered trying other magic to hit Red Blade Doron, but before she could change spells for another attack, Luo Luosi, sitting behind her, tugged at her cloak.

Turning her head, Bai Jin saw Luo Luosi sitting cross-legged on Lotcar’s back, one hand resting on her upright right knee, looking stern.

”Prioritize what’s important now, don’t lose focus because the enemy received reinforcements.

Although I’m not sure how you trained, you’re excellent at imprinting your own magic power onto your spells.

To deal with that Evil Dragon’s offspring using telekinesis, your ability is crucial.

So, don’t waste too much time on that individual.

That one is obviously skilled in melee combat and extremely swift, your magic may have a hard time harming him.

We’ll handle him, you fly into the sky and focus all your efforts on combating that telekinesis-wielding Evil Dragon.

Island Drifting will assist you.

Yang Yu must have realized the trouble that guy posed and intended to hold him off alone.

But it seems he suffered from that same skill.

Now only you can prevent the opening of the tunnel when they try to flee.

I’m mainly a support; I don’t have many powerful attack spells.

If those tunnels appear again, I have no way to stop them.”

The situation was urgent, Luo Luosi spoke quickly, but Bai Jin heard her every word clearly.

Luo Luosi’s words made sense; when faced with these sudden enemy reinforcements, failing to handle them properly would only worsen the situation, potentially leading to a total defeat.

They were unsure of the abilities of the newly arrived Evil Dragon’s offspring, so dealing with the troublesome telekinesis user, Blala Doren, should indeed be the top priority.

Once they understood the other Evil Dragon’s offspring’s abilities and were sure they could deal with her, they could then shift focus if needed.

Without further hesitation, Bai Jin quickly chanted Dancing in the Air, stood up from Lotcar’s back, and leaped into the forest, flying through the trees.

Due to magic power disturbances, Bai Jin didn’t fly too high to conserve energy, staying just two or three meters above the ground.

While controlling Dancing in the Air, Bai Jin began preparing new magic, pondering her attack strategy.

If she could kill two birds with one stone, that would be ideal.

But their opponent was, after all, an Evil Dragon’s offspring.

Bai Jin could see the recently arrived Red Blade Doron looking relaxed, calmly chatting with Blala Doren.

”My sister, I can’t believe you still haven’t dealt with your target after so long.”

With no follow-up attacks from Bai Jin and Iyas, Blala Doren recovered from Bai Jin’s Flame Spear Technique, her vertical dragon eyes quickly catching sight of Red Blade Doron not far ahead, she said with displeasure:

”The difficulty of your task is completely different from mine.

If I were dealing with the people you dealt with, I would’ve taken care of them all by now.

Why are you here?

You couldn’t possibly be so kind as to come help me, right?”

”Such a boast, if I were dealing with the people you did, the outcome would’ve been decided long ago.”

Red Blade Doron chuckled:

”As you said, I wasn’t kind enough to come help you.

I finished my task quickly and received a new one from our mother.

As you might guess, my target is those people.

One of them tried to be clever, intentionally stayed behind to buy time for reinforcements, hoping for a reversal.

Daring to face me alone, they really overestimated themselves.

Admittedly, they did cause some trouble for me, but I’ve already cut him into pieces.”

Red Blade Doron looked at Bai Jin and the others, speaking loudly so everyone could hear.

Her face was full of taunt, as if saying, ”Even your leader wasn’t my match, dealing with you will be as easy as slicing through vegetables.”

Red Blade Doron glanced at Blala Doren, ”I’ll handle them and complete my task.

As for the opponents you’re facing, you’re on your own.

Unless you beg me properly, I won’t lend a hand.”

Blala Doren, equally disdainful of her sister, coldly snorted, ”Up to you, you’ve always been like this. If not for their interference, I would’ve already finished them off, I don’t need your help.”

The Evil Dragon sisters concluded their conversation, and Red Blade Doron displayed a ghastly smile. An unusual light flashed across her extended claws, now elongated and enveloped in an odd, flowing red hue.

Although Bai Jin knew it was unlikely for Yang Yu to have been dealt with as casually as Red Blade Doron claimed, her heart couldn’t help but tighten with worry, a vague sense of unease creeping in.

Better safe than sorry.

If by chance, what this Evil Dragon’s offspring said were true...

The only way to truly calm Bai Jin’s anxious heart was to see Yang Yu for herself or confirm Red Blade Doron’s strength.

However, as Luo Luosi said, she was now a key asset against Blala Doren.

The task of dealing with Red Blade Doron was left to Iyas and the others.

Bai Jin focused her energy, chanting a large-scale spell and imprinting her signature onto it.

Red Blade Doron wasted no words, preparing to attack immediately; she aimed to kill Yang Yu’s companions before her lies were exposed.

This would provide ample time to toy with Yang Yu.

Without warning, Red Blade Doron launched her attack.

In the blink of an eye, Red Blade Doron had surged forward several tens of meters, her first target being Bai Jin.

Due to the disturbance in her magic power, Bai Jin couldn’t fly quickly at a high altitude. Even if Red Blade Doron didn’t deliberately use any floating skills, she could still pin Bai Jin to the ground and have some sincere ”heart-to-heart” words with her.
