Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

The award ceremony for the Dragon God Conference was held in the Arena.

The stones composing the battle stage constantly rotated and moved, constructing an elegant podium reminiscent of a palace.

The top sixteen contestants lined up in two rows, sequentially receiving memorial medals from the Dragon God Conference Committee and prizes from the dragon representatives.

Due to the vast quantity of prizes presented by the dragons, each person’s rewards were stored in a Storage Scroll.

The Storage Scroll awarded by the Dragon God Conference was an impressive treasure in itself.

Each Storage Scroll was inscribed with the unique magic of its owner, and could open a hole in the scroll to allow storage and retrieval of items with specific commands.

Contestants also received a list of their rewards when they received their Storage Scrolls.

After the award ceremony concluded, contestants could check the contents of their Storage Scrolls in a designated area, verify the items, and see if there were any counterfeits.

Once they leave the venue, the Dragon God Conference will no longer be responsible for the items within the Storage Scrolls.

After the rewards for the top sixteen contestants were presented, the top three winners stepped forward onto a tiered champion podium.

The person responsible for awarding Yang Yu and others was the Dragon God Agent of the Dragon God Evaluation Country, Seven Corosan Dona.

—— The true wielder of power in the Dragon God Evaluation Country.

He was a spirited hybrid dragon beast over a hundred years old, possessing deer ears, Dragon Horns, and a long dragon tail.

Beginning with Aslit, Seven Corosan Dona presented special medals and additional Storage Scrolls to the top three winners of the Dragon God Conference.

Aslit took the medal and scroll, and despite the booing in the Arena, Seven Corosan Dona showed no emotional reaction, quietly completing his duties.

After Yang Yu and Lorand received their medals and rewards, the booing in the Arena finally ceased.

Shaking hands with each of them, Seven Corosan Dona showed a kindly smile.

”Congratulations on your victory in the Dragon God Conference; you are the future of this continent.

My rewards have been distributed.

As the top three in the Dragon God Conference, there are further rewards you need to claim from the dragons.

Good luck!”

After his speech, Seven Corosan Dona stepped back to the edge of the podium.

The majestic Dragon God Council Chairman, clad in a gold-patterned white robe, ascended the platform under the radiant glow of seven-colored light, approaching Yang Yu and the others,

”Once again, congratulations on securing the top three in the Dragon God Conference. You now have the privilege to use the Giant Dragon Racial Essence to enhance and refine yourselves.

You will accompany me to Panlong Peak, where the giant dragons reside, and I will bestow the Dragon Clan Race Essence upon you.

Moreover, you will be allowed to choose the rewards you desire.”

Ending his words, the Dragon King, in his gold-patterned white robe, transformed into a mighty golden giant dragon enveloped in golden light, its massive golden scales reflecting seven-colored luster under the sun.

The giant dragon abruptly spread its massive wings, as beams of white light enveloped Yang Yu and the other two, engulfing their vision in a sea of white.

”Whoosh—” The white light pillar vanished from their view.

Looking around, diverse magnificent buildings surrounding them made the three feel as though they were in the midst of a temple’s embrace.

In the blink of an eye, Yang Yu and the others had left the Arena and arrived at Panlong Peak, where the dragons were.

Various dragons met their gaze.

The dragons curiously observed Yang Yu and his companions as though scrutinizing lab mice.

Soon, a massive beam of light appeared in front of Yang Yu and the others.

The Dragon King followed closely, arriving at Panlong Peak.

He drew a line in the air with his finger, and three thin blue screens appeared, slowly drifting toward the three of them.

Simultaneously, Yang Yu and the others reached out to catch the blue screens.

Yang Yu recognized the blue screens, having seen similar ones when he previously claimed rewards from the dragons.

Though the dragons remained silent, Yang Yu heard a voice resonate within his heart:

”I will keep it brief.

You may have already heard from somewhere that the rewards we offer you are not fixed.

You can choose the rewards you desire according to your needs.

Nearly all rewards have a clear price tag; based on your ranking, we grant you a certain amount of points, which you must spend to obtain rewards.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Once you make your choice, someone will guide you.

Do you understand what I am saying?”

Yang Yu was the first to nod, and the blue screen before him transformed, displaying a list of rewards.

The reward list consisted of more than a dozen major categories, including vast amounts of money, rare materials, and Legendary Equipment...

By tapping on the corresponding item, a tiered search would reveal explicitly priced items.

Emmm… you can even click to add items to a shopping cart.

Opening the equipment page, Yang Yu found the section for Legendary Equipment, skimming through it.

The cheapest piece of Legendary Equipment required two hundred points, while the most expensive one required five hundred.

In the bottom right corner of the screen, he could see his current points, with a red dot beside it indicating [Dragon Race Essence].

As a victor of the Dragon God Conference, Yang Yu had a total of two thousand victory points.

Yang Yu attempted to click the red dot next to [Dragon Race Essence], and instantly a message popped up on the screen: [Do you want to exchange the Dragon Race Essence for 2000 victory points? 1. Agree to exchange. 2. Disagree to exchange.]

Yang Yu immediately clicked ’disagree to exchange,’ resting his chin on his hand as he pondered how to best utilize these victory points.

Scrolling to the bottom of the page, there was a locked area labeled [Access to the Giant Dragon Knowledge Base].

After a light tap, a long explanation appeared on the screen.

Yang Yu read it thoroughly from top to bottom.

[To gain access to the Giant Dragon Knowledge Base], one must complete a dragon’s challenge, with up to three attempts allowed, each costing one hundred victory points.

Alternatively, five hundred victory points can be used to instantly unlock access to the Giant Dragon Knowledge Base.

Once the Giant Dragon Knowledge Base is unlocked, researching sensitive topics will require additional victory points.

After reading the description, another light tap brought up a cost estimation chart before Yang Yu. By pressing a category and silently thinking of his question, the intended query would appear on the category.

The dragons’ system would assess if the question was a sensitive topic; if so, the dragons would provide the victory point cost to inquire about the topic.

Since there was no question limit per category, Yang Yu entered all the questions he could think of at once.

Then...

In a blink, the estimated total points usage soared to over ten thousand.....

To answer all of his inquiries, Yang Yu realized he would need to obtain at least four pieces of Dragon Race Essence.
