Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Lorand’s Shadow Hand possesses the characteristics of a Spiritual Body, which means that his hand attacks will have extremely strong penetrative power.

Whether it’s a Shield or a Sword, I’m afraid it’s very hard to block them.

Only at the moment Lorand materializes to launch an attack can one use a Shield or Sword to block his attack.

But even then, it may only be for an instant.

Going head-to-head at the beginning will only result in disadvantage.

What’s more, the opponent has already activated the liberation form.

Maintaining the liberation form for Lorand will continuously drain his own Magic Power like Aslit releasing black currents.

As long as he can keep evading or withstand his repeated attacks, when Lorand doesn’t have enough Magic Power to maintain the materialization of his arms, he will doom himself.

Retreating to the edge of the arena, Yang Yu came up with the best strategy.

Yang Yu’s stamina is exceptional, and his speed is astonishing; executing this strategy is just a matter of time.

But Yang Yu abandoned this strategy.

Since the opponent hasn’t exposed much strength, it’s like what was said just now...

Try going all out.

It’s like a zombie siege. Run, run, run to the rescue point, get rescued, and survive, but stand up to zombies, cut them down one by one, wipe them all out, with no zombies in the city, you can survive too.

Only, the latter is a billion times harder than the former.

High difficulty is also good; opportunities to test one’s limits like this are extremely rare.

Defending desperately will only let him breakthrough; attack instead, make him defend passively.

Lorand moved his left hand and this time launched his right hand. He appeared before Yang Yu in the blink of an eye like a purple cabbage rocket.

He swung his left hand, transformed into a giant claw, raising a black whirlwind, sweeping toward Yang Yu.

Yang Yu crouched down, a blood-red wave surged in front of him, like a red bullet breaking through the black whirlwind, crashing into Lorand.

Lorand clenched his fist, black smoke quickly expanded, making his clenched fist grow several times larger, like a rice cooker, smashing towards Yang Yu’s head.

Taking a deep breath, clearing all other thoughts, Yang Yu focused all his attention.

As the fist was about to hit Yang Yu’s [Red Blood Path], Yang Yu retracted [Red Blood Path], spun his body to dodge Lorand’s massive fist, and moved behind Lorand.

Black shadows coiled around the Sword Blade as Yang Yu swung a sword towards Lorand’s back.

”[Ghost Shadow Spirit Shield]”

Pieces of black stripped from Lorand’s Shadow Hand, intersecting into an X-shape, arranged into a circular ring, forming an extremely solid Shield.

Just as Yang Yu’s [Shadow Deception] was about to touch Lorand’s Shield, Yang Yu withdrew his hand, jumping back several times to avoid countless black arms growing from the ground.

”Indeed, very tricky.”

Lorand intended to trap Yang Yu using [Shadow Hand Binding] when his sword hit the shield, but he never expected Yang Yu to react in advance.

”How about this move.”

Lorand extended his hand, and suddenly a suction force drawn towards Yang Yu, but Yang Yu activated [Climbing], lowered his center of gravity, staying still.

Controlling Yang Yu with one hand, Lorand swung the other arm, transforming his wrist into a Hook, throwing it towards Yang Yu.

Yang Yu slightly tilted his head, dodging Lorand’s incoming Hook.

However, the Hook released by Lorand was his hand, which made a sharp turn mid-air, stabbing at Yang Yu’s ribs from behind.

A golden light burned in his eyes, Yang Yu released [Breaking Cauldrons and Sinking Boats], increasing his Strength by 100% and maximum Blood Volume by 30%.

With the Hook drawing closer from behind, Yang Yu disengaged with Climbing, lunging towards Lorand along with the suction.

Red currents pierced his backhand, Yang Yu’s Sword Blade shimmered with an orange glow, slicing at Lorand’s chest.

Lorand raised his claw, fortifying it to materialize for defense, but Yang Yu’s most powerful strike sliced it in half.

The Sword Blade slid from Lorand’s forehead to his chin, moved from the chin to the chest, from the chest to the lower abdomen, carving out two wounds, one shallow and one deep, with blue-violet blood flowing from Lorand’s wounds.

Lorand manipulated his severed hand, coordinating with his maneuvering hand to attack Yang Yu from both sides.

Yang Yu’s attack wasn’t over, leaning right to dodge the incoming arms, pivoting his left foot back, activating the active of [Incredible Braking Boots], using the torsional force from his waist, Yang Yu half-knelt and drew a sword upwards, etching a new wound on Lorand, forming an inverted V with previous wounds.

After this strike, Yang Yu rolled his body, dodging Lorand’s [Shadow Hand Assault], which showered the ground like raindrops, then rose to attack Lorand again.

With hands becoming incredibly solid, Lorand crossed his hands, finally blocking Yang Yu’s sword.

Lorand felt something was odd, perceiving Yang Yu as completely different from before but couldn’t pinpoint what was different.

Not only Lorand, even [Red Blood Rose] in the stands felt Yang Yu was vastly different than before.

”What exactly is going on... His combat style is totally different from before.”

Wan Jing. Zhuhua watched Yang Yu on the field, who no longer contemplated bizarre strategies but took the lead with his Reflex and skill to suppress the opponent.

”Miss Bai Jin, do you know what’s going on?”

Staring at the field, Bai Jin said, ”This, perhaps, is what Yang Yu looks like when he gets completely serious....”

”Completely serious... Wasn’t he serious before?” Wan Jing. Zhuhua was a bit surprised.

”It’s not like that... He was serious in every match before, but the seriousness now is completely different from back then,” Bai Jin affirmed.

Iyas laughed, ”I know. This time it’s just like when facing the Blood Lion Patriarch; it’s a duel without caring about winning or losing.”

Bai Jin nodded, ”However, this time Yang Yu is even more focused than before.”

Iyas said, ”Yang Yu doesn’t even know the effects of his opponent’s Skills. Being more focused than previous matches isn’t something surprising.”

Both Iyas and Bai Jin knew that not caring about winning or losing is when Yang Yu truly unleashes his full strength.

But in reality, many things necessitate the importance of winning or losing.

The usual Yang Yu gave Bai Jin and others a sense of extreme steadiness, aiming to establish a reliable leader image, hence adopting relatively safe methods to win.

At the finals of the Dragon God Conference, Yang Yu departed from his usual demeanor; he definitely wanted to test his limits again, to see how much pressure he can withstand.

Lorand, hoping to see what bizarre methods Yang Yu would use to defeat him, would be disappointed.

For this time, Yang Yu intends to use his sheer strength to determine the victory of this match.

The more facing an unknown enemy, the more prior knowledge can be demonstrated, the more one can understand one’s own depth.
