The Unveiling of Secret Queen

What the hell, this long?

Sadam instinctively looked in Amadeus Yancey’s direction, but couldn’t see anything, so he turned to Nathalie Quinlan, and hadn’t had time to ask.

The girl thought for a moment, tugged at the brim of her duckbill cap with her cold white hand, revealing a strikingly exquisite face, extremely beautiful.

”Khendy Lordon might be in trouble. I need to make a trip to M country to get him.”

Amadeus Yancey raised an eyebrow: ”...”

”I don’t think this is something I should hide from you.” Nathalie looked at him frankly: ”Khendy is my friend, I can’t just leave him.”

Sadam and Alfred Garland heard the name Khendy Lordon, but didn’t react immediately, their minds spinning before recalling who that name belonged to.

The boss of Maybelissa?

Both Alfred and Sadam had the same reaction before quickly looking at their boss’s face.

Ms. Quinlan is bold!

Saying it directly without softening the words?

Wouldn’t Amadeus Yancey be...

Alfred was still lost in wild thoughts.

”How do you plan to go?” The man’s voice was low and smooth, without a hint of anger.

Nathalie raised her eyebrows and looked at him without concealing anything: ”I asked Diana to arrange a plane for me, leaving in an hour, and I can be in M country by the afternoon.”

Alfred and Sadam felt even more puzzled, who was Diana??

A name?

Amadeus Yancey understood in a second who she meant by Diana, it should be the online name of that weapons dealer David from Terrafina.

He put his hands in his pockets, turned back to the room, and said, ”I’ll go with you.”

”No...” Nathalie just started to refuse.

She wasn’t yet clear about Khendy’s situation in M country, it could be very dangerous... she didn’t want Amadeus Yancey to take the risk with her.

Halfway through, the man stopped, turned back to look at her, his beautiful eyes like the vibrant morning sun, his tone steady and powerful: ”Nathalie, your friends are my friends.”

”...Besides, I know M country better than you, maybe I can help.”

Nathalie looked at him deeply, pursed her lips, and finally agreed with his plan, no longer stopping him.

*

Because Nathalie was eager to go to M country to save people.

The group went directly to the no-man’s-land where Diana was.

Inderia’s no-man’s-land area was chaotic, with bullet marks everywhere from gang fights and fences blown apart.

Otherwise, the fences were covered in graffiti, presenting a completely extreme visual contrast with the prosperity of the city center.

Diana lived in the only five-star hotel in the no-man’s-land area. The hotel was over a hundred floors high, with a magnificent facade shimmering in the sunlight, looking especially grand and tall, its height and shape a symbol of a top-tier hotel.

In fact, it was one of the countable top hotels in Inderia, with an expensive room rate per night.

The hotel had independent facilities like a gym, a pool, and an airplane hangar.

By the time Nathalie and the others arrived, Diana was already outside waiting for her.

As soon as their car stopped, someone immediately opened the car door for them.

Nathalie got out first.

Followed closely by Amadeus Yancey.

Alfred and Sadam got out from behind.

As soon as Sadam got out, he saw a face he’d never seen before walking straight towards Nathalie, speaking to her cheerfully.

”Who is this person?” he murmured to Alfred under his breath.

Alfred shook his head, feeling a weird sensation in his heart: ”I know this hotel... it’s where Zed Moore mentioned that weapons dealer stays.”

”Didn’t Zed say that the person staying here was tightly guarded?” Sadam glanced at the man talking to Nathalie, struggling to make sense of it momentarily.
