The Unveiling of Secret Queen

The assistant was bewildered by his request, unsure of which type of restaurant to book.

Fortunately, Diana had a moment of realization, seeing him standing there helplessly for a long time, his tiger’s eye slightly narrowed, thinking of a specific taste.

”Just find a Hot Pot Restaurant.”

”Okay.”

His assistant hurriedly went to take care of it.

They had spent years in Terrafina, a place scarce in resources, surviving mainly on steak or mashed potatoes, their palates had dulled over time.

But it was the first time his people had heard that their boss had a liking for hot pot... unexpectedly breaking his usual image!

After his assistant left, Diana shut the door.

Diana sent Nathalie Quinlan a WhatsApp message asking if she was okay with having hot pot.

The girl with the black avatar didn’t respond for a long time, seemingly not having checked her phone.

He didn’t care, putting his phone aside.

He got up intending to find some peanuts to go with his drink at the hotel but couldn’t find them, instead his phone he had just set down rang again.

”Who is it?”

He furrowed his brows, returned to the tea table, and picked up the phone to glance at the unfamiliar number calling, then answered.

”Hello.”

This time his voice was much more composed.

Beneath the cold exterior was an undeniable bloodthirsty aura.

Clearly a ruthless character who had risen from such a place like Terrafina.

But the caller was also someone worldly-wise, calmly introducing himself: ”Hello, Mr. David, I am James Lawrence, Mr. Kingsley’s assistant. Lynn Kingsley would like to meet with you, are you available to come for a meeting?”

The caller directly used his Terrafina name.

Diana’s eyes deepened, with rugged yet handsome features that spoke of a mature man shaped by time.

He wasn’t too surprised, replying in a deep voice: ”Mr. Kingsley?”

He was here in Inderia specifically for Nathalie Quinlan, and before he came, he investigated the various powers in Inderia.

There were only two people he particularly feared.

One was the Clan Chief of the old and unshakeable Kingsleys Family, Lynn Kingsley.

The other was the mysterious leader Y behind the new power figures of Yordania Sect.

Other people, including Regina Isadora with Hidden Family background, didn’t concern him, but these two he wouldn’t underestimate.

Thus, he responded politely: ”In the afternoon, I’ll have time in the afternoon.”

James Lawrence asked courteously: ”And the location?”

Diana was even more polite: ”This is the land of Inderia, so you guys can set the location.”

”Alright, Mr. David, I’ll send you the address once I’ve booked the place.” James Lawrence finished, and politely added: ”I won’t disturb your rest further.”

”What did he say?” Lynn Kingsley put down the document he was reviewing and rubbed his forehead, long hours of work had left him particularly fatigued.

James Lawrence turned back, speaking with lowered eyes: ”Mr. David arranged to meet with you in the afternoon, the location is for us to decide.”

”Heh, he truly is a smart person.” Lynn Kingsley pondered something with a slight smile and instructed James Lawrence: ”They’ve shown sincerity; we shouldn’t be disrespectful. Book a private room at Ocean Pavilion! That place will set him at ease.”

James Lawrence quickly raised his head, sneaking a peek at the imposing middle-aged man, unsure why this weapons merchant would find peace at Ocean Pavilion...

But he wasn’t one to talk much.

Whatever Lynn Kingsley instructed, he followed through: ”I understand, Clan Chief.”
