The Unveiling of Secret Queen

”Next time you come to Terrafina, I’ll treat you to a good meal! Let’s just make do for today.”

Nathalie Quinlan saw the hat and sunglasses next to him, realized how he got here, and casually averted her gaze, sitting in a rather relaxed posture: ”Mm.”

Diana took the opportunity to tell her about Lynn Kingsley looking for her yesterday.

A waiter came by halfway to serve the dishes.

He cleverly paused, waiting for the waiter to leave, and then continued talking.

Nathalie Quinlan listened to him chatter non-stop as she ate.

Her ears were almost growing calluses from his chatter.

It turned out that Lynn Kingsley did not discuss cooperation matters with Diana yesterday; they just had some casual conversations, asking about the customs and scenery of Terrafina...

After seeing Lynn Kingsley off himself, he found it quite incredible.

But here in Inderia, because of Lynn Kingsley’s status, he couldn’t easily look into the other person, so he could only internally speculate on his intentions with caution.

Nathalie was halfway full and put down her chopsticks to wipe her mouth. She noticed he hadn’t touched his chopsticks yet, raised an eyebrow, her dark eyes glanced at him, and she said nonchalantly: ”Since he didn’t discuss cooperation with you, don’t bother with him. There’s no need to overthink.”

”If he really wanted to say something while in Inderia, he’d tell you directly. He doesn’t need to beat around the bush.”

Diana had been giving her analysis, but upon hearing this, she closed her mouth and thought over Nathalie’s words with her eyes downcast. Most of the frustration in her heart dissipated, and she calmed down.

”That’s true!”

He belatedly picked up the chopsticks, put a few pieces of beef in to scald, and with shining eyes, said excitedly, ”Lynn Kingsley is quite a character. I met him the day before yesterday, and his poise and demeanor were no less impressive than Martin from the Hidden Family. But he didn’t look well; his health seemed to not be great!”

Nathalie had never noticed this before. Hearing Diana bring it up, she just listened.

Amadeus Yancey had been strict with her lately.

Nathalie hadn’t had the chance to have hot pot in a long time.

Today, going out to have hot pot, though the restaurant Diana chose wasn’t that great, the taste was passably edible.

Nathalie took a break mid-meal, then picked up her chopsticks again to continue eating.

During this time, Diana brought up how Regina Isadora had looked for him, and as she suspected, he didn’t meet Regina Isadora.

Outside, people have been saying Regina Isadora was the first to approach, but in reality, she got a cold shoulder.

After finishing the meal.

Diana went to settle the bill.

Nathalie, full and satisfied, leaned back, playing with her phone.

...

Meanwhile outside.

Most of the dinner on the first floor had already ended.

Willy Kingsley invited Mrs. Lordon up to the second floor to have a seat in the teahouse, wanting to discuss the matters concerning Maybelissa and Khendy Lordon with her.

Just now, during the dinner, Zevaney Kingsley didn’t disclose a word about the weapons merchant, which made Mrs. Lordon quite displeased.

Even though Willy Kingsley invited her upstairs for a private chat, she retained a stern expression, her attitude very cold.

”This way, madam, please. I’ve booked a private room.” Willy Kingsley led the way diligently in front, smiling throughout.

Mrs. Lordon was smoldering with anger, merely responding with a light ”Mm,” unwilling to even pace a bit faster behind him.

She was worried about the weapons merchant matter, pondering whether to privately have Marco Lordon reach out to Zevaney Kingsley, trying to get information about the weapons merchant from her.

Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted the hot pot restaurant across the street.

Mrs. Lordon, with her sharp eyes, immediately noticed someone sitting in the hall: ”Nathalie?”
