The Unveiling of Secret Queen

The news that a weapons businessman holding many high-tech weapons has arrived in Inderia spread quickly, and many major powers received this information.

Willy Kingsley contacted Zevaney Kingsley immediately: ”Hey, are you home?”

Zevaney had just finished applying a face mask, placed the phone on speaker on her vanity table, looked at her own face in the mirror, and expressionlessly twisted open a jar of face cream: ”What’s up? Need me for something?”

”Do you know about the weapons businessman coming to Inderia?” Willy, who has seen his share of ups and downs, brought it up naturally without feeling any awkwardness: ”You should have heard about this since you’re always around the Hidden Family people.”

Zevaney paused in her neck moisturizing motion, slowly lowered her eyelids, put the cream back, and replied softly: ”Yes, I know.”

She spoke nonchalantly, but her heart was actually pounding.

Regina Isadora hadn’t mentioned anything about the weapons businessman to her; she only found out from Willy that a weapons businessman had come to Inderia.

Upon hearing that she knew, Willy eagerly asked: ”Since you know this person, do you know where he’s staying?”

”This...” Zevaney took off the face mask, picked up her phone, and pretended to sound troubled: ”I can’t disclose that.”

Willy was choked by her response, feeling a bit frustrated inside.

But previously, when Lynn Kingsley removed Zevaney from the list of candidates to be cultivated by the new generation of the Kingsleys Family, Willy had once kicked her while she was down. So even though Willy felt aggrieved by her evasive tone, he could only swallow this anger and said smilingly: ”Zevaney, this person has quite a few new weapon resources in his hands, and behind him might be a bigwig who hasn’t shown his face yet. If we could connect with him first...”

Zevaney is a smart person.

Willy didn’t finish the rest of his sentence.

But he knew in his heart that Zevaney definitely understood what he meant.

If they could establish a relationship ahead of everyone else with this mysterious weapons businessman, their status in Inderia would rise together.

After all, these days nothing is harder than a fist!

”You know Mr. Isadora and have the Hidden Family supported by Mr. Isadora behind, if you could reach a cooperation with this weapons businessman... you wouldn’t have to rely on the Kingsleys Family to stand on your own in the future.” Willy lowered his voice, using an extremely tempting tone to persuade her: ”Don’t you want to move up a bit more?”

”I understand.”

Zevaney stared at her ravishing face in the mirror and briskly interrupted Willy: ”I’ll think about it; if it’s appropriate, I’ll contact you.”

Willy originally thought he could leverage Regina Isadora’s connections behind her, assuming she would tell him the address of the weapons businessman, but unexpectedly Zevaney hung up the phone without disclosing anything.

He was fuming but had to accept it, holding onto a tremendous hope while waiting for Zevaney’s ’good’ news.

...

On the other side, after Zevaney hung up his call, she sat at her vanity table, unable to snap out of it for a long time.

She was still digesting what Willy had said to her.

Zevaney sat up straight for a while, picked up the phone, and made another call to Marco Lordon.

”Beep...”

The sound of the phone being connected rang out from the other end.

However, it rang over ten times until the call automatically disconnected, Marco did not answer.

Zevaney’s expression was gloomy; she slowly put down the phone, feeling extremely restless and anxious.
