The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Nathalie Quinlan was about to open the box when a hand took it from her: ”Let me.”

Amadeus Yancey, worried that there might be something dangerous inside, didn’t wait for Nathalie to speak and opened the mysterious box for her.

Inside was a cleanly washed index finger, adorned with a clean and polished gold ring.

The design of this ring was very simple.

Nathalie had seen it once before.

It was on the left hand of that blonde man with the chicken nest hairstyle from the K Organization.

”Is it him?” So when she saw the finger in the box wearing the same ring, she was very surprised.

”What’s in there?” Sadam Vinson, who didn’t see clearly, leaned in for a look and exclaimed in a distorted voice: ”Holy shit, what kind of creepy thing is this! Such a pervert!”

Alfred Garland, too, saw the contents of the box and with a solemn expression, cautiously said: ”Who sent this? Do they intend to threaten Ms. Quinlan?”

Amadeus Yancey pulled an exquisite card from the gap of the box, then tossed the box into the trash can, glanced down at the words on the card, and read aloud with his lips brushing softly: ”My dearest, this is a ’gift’ from the person that troubled you last time. I’ve already taught him a lesson for you. This is my first contact with you, I hope you like this gift...”

”It’s signed with ’m’.”

As Amadeus spoke, he handed the card over, lowered his head, and said in a low voice: ”There’s also a stamp with a sakura symbol on it.”

Nathalie took the card from his hand and quickly read through it.

The handwriting was sloppy, and she was sure she had never seen this handwriting before.

Stranger?

But the tone clearly suggested they were not strangers to her.

Amadeus spoke quietly: ”M is a common signature for the Hidden Family, it’s someone from the Hidden Family.”

As for the meaning of the sakura.

For now, he couldn’t figure out exactly which member of the Hidden Family it represented.

”Do you know someone from the Hidden Family?” Amadeus found the ’gift’ sent by the other party wasn’t necessarily malicious, but it definitely wasn’t the kind of gift a normal person would send!

He couldn’t tell if they were friend or foe.

But Nathalie shook her head, her bright eyes clear and cold, unbothered by the gift: ”No, I don’t.”

Holding the card, she headed upstairs, looking quite cool, and told Sadam and the others: ”I’ll go check who sent the package.”

Although Nathalie checked the nearby surveillance and the meaning of the sakura symbol within the Hidden Family, the sender was meticulous and left no clues, so for the moment, she had no idea who sent the ’gift’...

However, Nathalie didn’t worry much about this person.

After all, if they wanted to find her, they would eventually come to her door.

If it’s just to secretly send a small gift, there’s no need to go to so much trouble to find her...

Soon it was the day she had agreed to meet with Diana.

Nathalie left at ten thirty, telling Alfred before leaving, but not mentioning whom she was meeting.

However, Sadam, seeing her leave alone, recalled the package Nathalie received two days ago, toothbrush in mouth, muttered with concern: ”Is it safe for Nathalie to go out alone, where is Amadeus? Amadeus isn’t going with Natalie?”

Alfred, seeing him in pajamas, looking like he hadn’t slept all night, headed straight for the kitchen and calmly said: ”Amadeus went to get the car, they should be going together.”

Sadam’s grumbling stopped.

He looked in the direction Nathalie left, sighed, and mumbled softly: ”What kind of people are coming from Inderia these days, first D, now M, soon we’ll have all 26 letters of the alphabet...”
