The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1124: Chapter 1124: The Alliance of Fans and Fandoms Join Forces to Snipe

”Even so, the results are out, and second place is second place. If I make a fuss, it’ll only make others laugh at me. The school won’t change the final results just because I throw a tantrum.”

Caryn spoke as if she were reasonable and understanding, pretending to be magnanimous.

In reality, Adelle had messaged her, mentioning that she had approached Jackson privately to discuss altering the scores, but Jackson refused and even told Adelle not to bring it up again.

Caryn was quite upset and unwilling to accept it.

But Adelle’s message clearly stated that the scores couldn’t be changed, and they could only try to accept the results...

Thinking about this made Caryn’s head buzz incessantly.

Her fingers clenched tighter subconsciously, and she stopped talking.

This time, getting stomped on outright by Nathalie Quinlan had left her fuming, yet she took a moment to check the online discussions.

The direction of public opinion seemed better than she’d expected.

Nathalie might have clinched first place, but Caryn hadn’t completely lost this round!

On the other side, as Tsinghua University’s anniversary results were announced, Twitter practically exploded.

”What the hell? Our queen lost to an outsider? Tsinghua’s judges must have their ears clogged with wax. There’s no way Lighten Chaser lost to anyone. Ridiculous!”

”I just want to know the judging criteria. Was it based on the scores? Haha, Tsinghua’s desperate attempts to prop up their top scholar are way too obvious.”

”...”

Lighten Chaser has always been mysterious and low-key, yet her fan base has remained strong. Back when she gained 2 million followers on a music platform, her popularity was already evident.

Later, Lighten Chaser established a Twitter account.

Her account now boasts over 600,000 followers.

Compared to celebrities who easily rack up over 10 million followers, 600,000 may not seem like much, but everyone knows she could never have bought followers—someone who’s avoided managing social accounts for years wouldn’t even bother.

Which means these 600,000 followers on Twitter are all genuine and active fans!

Plus, Lighten Chaser hasn’t been on Twitter for long, and she rarely posts updates. Some diehard fans even investigated the frequency of her log-ins and discovered it’s essentially zero.

She might go ten days without logging into her Twitter account.

Even so, it hasn’t deterred her enthusiastic fans from flocking to her account.

Previously, when she publicly supported Audrick Zachmann, ruthlessly calling out the minor celebrity who tried to piggyback on his fame, her tweet was shared over 100,000 times. That minor celebrity still occasionally gets dragged through the mud by her fans, showcasing their overwhelming combat power, which rivals that of any popular star!

This time, for Tsinghua University’s anniversary, Lighten Chaser was set to perform—a long-anticipated moment for her fans, who were eagerly waiting for their idol to crush the competition.

Instead, they received the news that their idol had been crushed.

Her fans couldn’t stand it. Naturally, they took to Twitter to demand justice for their goddess, fiercely criticizing Tsinghua University for abusing its prestigious status to act shamelessly.

”Wuwu, my dear Lighten Chaser is so pitiful, sacrificed by the damn school.”

”I demand a recount for the rankings!”

”Using my real name here +1.”

At first, only Lighten Chaser’s fans were causing an uproar on Twitter.

Later, Audrick Zachmann’s fans joined in.

After all, Lighten Chaser had once stood up for Audrick, ruthlessly defending him against attempts to ride his coattails, exuding boundless confidence and flair, and protecting their ”family man” like a knight.

Now that her ”family man” (husband)’s biological sister was being bullied, there was no question that they would side with their future sister-in-law’s fans to fight back and obliterate anyone trying to leech off their fame.

Lighten Chaser losing was impossible. Simply impossible.

If she did lose, then it must be the school lacking any sense of shame.

The contest had been rigged!
