The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1109: Chapter 1109: The Light Chaser is Caryn Zachmann? She’s Worthy?

At the same time.

Beijing Television Station.

Stephanie Tanzil had just arrived at her office. As soon as she pushed the door open and walked in, she saw her assistant watering the potted plants for her.

Seeing Stephanie enter, the assistant put down the watering can and quickly brought over a cup of coffee, while softly reporting the updates on work-related matters.

Stephanie had just returned from abroad a few days ago and hadn’t yet adjusted to the jet lag. Distracted, she pulled out the leather swivel chair, sat down, and listened quietly. When the assistant finished speaking, she casually picked up one of the folders piled on the desk, opened it indifferently, and said, ”Just do it the way you explained.”

”Alright.” The assistant was just about to leave to notify the other departments.

But suddenly she remembered something, paused, and returned to Stephanie, saying, ”Oh, Mr. Tanzil, when I picked up your mail this morning, I found that Tsinghua University had sent you an invitation letter for their opening ceremony. Would you like to attend?”

Tsinghua University is one of Beijing’s century-old prestigious schools, and many talented individuals graduate from there every year.

Although it’s just a school, it holds significant status in Beijing, and many social celebrities are willing to show it face.

Especially for major events like the opening ceremony, many celebrities in Beijing attend every year.

Stephanie steadily lifted her coffee cup, not answering immediately, as if still contemplating: ”When does Tsinghua University start the new term?”

”Next week, I think.”

Seeing that Stephanie was considering it, the assistant added with interest, ”I heard that there will be an unexpected guest performing this year. You would definitely be interested.”

Stephanie couldn’t help but laugh a little, putting down her cup. She thought her assistant’s comment was rather amusing—what kind of person would she definitely be interested in?

”They’re saying Light Chaser will perform, and it’s going to be that song ’Nirvana’!” The assistant spoke with certainty, her tone full of confidence.

As expected.

Stephanie sat up abruptly, her typically composed and arrogant face showing a rare expression of surprise. She looked at the assistant and said, ”Who did you say? Light Chaser is going to perform?”

Nathalie Quinlan is going to perform?

”Yes.” The assistant nodded in confirmation, holding the folder Stephanie had just handed over, looking even more stunned than Stephanie herself: ”Mr. Tanzil, you didn’t see the Twitter hot search this morning?”

”Show me.”

Stephanie instructed the assistant to pull up the news.

”Um, alright, just give me a moment.” The assistant set aside what she was holding, grabbed her phone, found the trending news, and handed it over to Stephanie.

She couldn’t help but comment expectantly, ”I didn’t think Ms. Zachmann would turn out to be the real Light Chaser. Wow, once the hot search hit this morning, Twitter practically crashed.”

Stephanie: ”...”

The assistant continued thoughtfully, ”But actually, when you think about it, it’s not so surprising. Previously, Light Chaser personally mentioned Audrick Zachmann on Twitter, saying she was his younger sister. Now that I think about it, Audrick only has one biological sister, so Ms. Zachmann being Light Chaser doesn’t seem that strange.”

The internet was abuzz analyzing this.

Analysis after analysis, people seemed to conclude that Caryn Zachmann being Light Chaser wasn’t exactly shocking. After all, Caryn Zachmann is quite celebrated; everyone knows she’s talented and has made significant achievements in music. She almost became a student of Mr. Norton...

Stephanie silently read through the hot search updates and handed the phone back to her assistant, having already pieced together the tangled web of connections behind it all. She chuckled lightly: ”You’re saying Caryn Zachmann is Light Chaser?”

Everyone at the station knew Stephanie had personally seen Light Chaser’s real appearance. Hearing her say this, the assistant felt somewhat surprised and cautiously asked, ”That’s what people are saying online. Mr. Tanzil, isn’t she?”

Stephanie lowered her eyelashes in visible disdain, concealing the coldness in her eyes: ”Her? She wishes!”

Nathalie Quinlan had been incredibly busy these past few days.

She hadn’t had time to check Twitter and certainly wasn’t aware of the hot search trends.

In the blink of an eye, the day of the opening ceremony arrived.
