Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Sealing cultivation, a bloody battle with the cleaners“Ding! Task issued. Please enter the floor and engage in combat with the Blue Star Cleaner. The combat duration must be maintained for at least 15 minutes. During this time, as long as the host is not defeated, the task will be completed. Task reward: None.”

“Ding! Please do not take the feather out of the System Space, or you will bear the consequences.”

.......

“Ah? System, what are you trying to do?”

After hearing the system’s task, Lin Feng for the first time felt confused about the task it issued.

Such a difficult task, yet there’s no reward??

“Ding! Please rest assured, Host.”

The system, quite uncharacteristically, replied to Lin Feng, but it was just that one sentence. No matter how Lin Feng asked afterward, the system did not respond.

“What is this for?”

Lin Feng sighed. This floor... even if he didn’t want to go, he had to, because he always felt that the system had something it couldn’t say.

Recalling that every time the system issued a task with excellent rewards, he would obtain feathers on this floor, Lin Feng felt that this time there was still something important, even though this task had no reward.

But... fighting the Cleaner... isn’t this just asking for trouble?

And the duration of this floor was thirty days, a whole month.

Lin Feng took a deep breath. The system’s unprecedented reply just now was enough to indicate the importance of the matter.

So, this time Lin Feng gambled, betting that the system would not harm him.

Soon, the sound of the Elevator broadcast came.

“Ding dong! Elevator descending. Please hold on tight.”

This broadcast was different from previous ones; this time, the broadcast seemed to carry a hint of emotion...

After descending for a full ten minutes, the Elevator finally stopped.

The door also opened automatically.

Lin Feng sighed again, then exited the Elevator.

He had placed the feather into the System Space. He felt that what the system meant by

“bearing the consequences”

was that the feather would disappear once taken out.

Whoosh!

Just as Lin Feng entered the floor, a white light suddenly flashed past.

He saw a person who looked exactly like Lin Feng, smiling at him.

Danger!

Lin Feng’s danger warning instantly activated. The next moment, he flew backward.

Then, a pain in his back sent him flying again.

“Holy crap! Why is this Cleaner my template?”

Lin Feng, who had been blasted away, quickly stabilized his body in mid-air, then took a deep look at the Cleaner who was chasing him, turned his head, and began to flee for his life.

He had just scanned the Cleaner’s attributes.

All of its attribute values were higher than his, and its four main attributes were a full thousand points higher.

How the hell was he supposed to fight this?

Tell me, how do you fight this!

The endless space was indeed endless; everywhere his gaze reached was pitch black, like a void. Lin Feng’s heart gradually tightened.

Because this floor actually had no spiritual energy, and not only no spiritual energy, but also no magical elements.

This meant that the longer the time dragged on, the worse it would be for him.

Wait, if the Cleaner’s strength increases as his strength increases, then will it also decrease as his strength decreases?

This thought flashed through Lin Feng’s mind.

At this moment, the system suddenly gave a prompt.

“Ding! Just as the Host thought.”

“System, I love you!”

Lin Feng’s face immediately broke into a smile.

It seemed the system also knew that the situation was extremely critical this time, so it even gave a hint.

“It seems there’s only one way.”

Lin Feng took a deep breath, then began to circulate his spiritual energy.

He wanted to seal all of his cultivation.

That’s right, cultivation could be sealed. After sealing, all cultivation would disappear. Although the seal could be lifted, the cost was dropping one minor realm.

In other words, Lin Feng was currently at the peak of the Nascent Soul Stage. After sealing and then unsealing, he would drop to the late Nascent Soul Stage.

But to complete the task, Lin Feng could only do this.

Currently, the Cleaner’s strength was far too excessive, and with all its immortal and divine abilities, even if he was incredibly powerful, he couldn’t escape.

“Seal!”

As Lin Feng’s voice fell, he immediately lost all his cultivation, but at this time, his four main attributes were still around four hundred.

The Cleaner also caught up at this moment, and having lost its immortal and divine arts, it could no longer fly.

Upon closer inspection, the Cleaner’s four main attribute values had indeed decreased significantly, now only about a hundred higher than his own.

He could fight!

Soon, the two figures intertwined.

However, because the Cleaner’s attribute values were still higher than Lin Feng’s, Lin Feng didn’t expect to defeat the Cleaner and was always on passive defense.

Fortunately, his luck value was high enough, and the Pan Zhen Good Defense skill was also frequently triggered, helping him evade many attacks.

At the same time, Lin Feng also discovered that this Cleaner actually possessed the exact same skills as him.

Anything Lin Feng had, this Cleaner possessed all of it. Aside from its dull gaze, making it look like a robot, everything else was completely identical to Lin Feng.

It must be said, this was indeed somewhat terrifying.

Ten minutes later, Lin Feng began to fall into a disadvantage, and was gradually beaten back repeatedly.

But he had already held on for so long, and with only five minutes left to complete the task, Lin Feng had no choice but to grit his teeth and continue to persevere. As long as he didn’t fall, it wouldn’t count as being defeated.

At this moment, the Cleaner’s movements suddenly stopped, and then its pupils gradually changed from dull to bright.

“I really didn’t expect you to do such a thing.”

The Cleaner spoke, its voice very familiar, as if Lin Feng had heard it before.

But at this moment, there was no time to think much. Lin Feng, who had a chance to catch his breath, quickly took out two bottles of healing potion from the System Space and chugged them down.

Seeing this, the Cleaner did not stop him, but instead looked at Lin Feng with a mocking expression, as if watching its prey struggling in its death throes.

After Lin Feng finished drinking the potion, the Cleaner spoke again.

“You don’t really think you can leave this place, do you?”

“What do you mean?”

Lin Feng frowned. The Cleaner at this moment seemed a bit off, as if it had gained a soul.

“What do you think?”

After speaking, it attacked Lin Feng again.

..........

Five minutes later, Lin Feng was covered in injuries. In contrast, the Cleaner was no different from the beginning; its clothes didn’t even have a wrinkle, because no matter how severe the damage it sustained, it would quickly recover as before in a short amount of time.

However, Lin Feng’s task was also completed, and at this moment, he finally showed a smile.

“Ding! Congratulations to the Host for completing the task. Reward has been issued. Please check.”

“Ah? Reward? What reward?”

Just as Lin Feng was blasted away by the Cleaner again, the system gave a notification that the task was completed, and also said that the reward had been issued, but wasn’t this task supposed to have no reward?

At this moment, the Cleaner, who was about to finish Lin Feng, suddenly froze.

“No, impossible!”
