Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Jinchuan Yong’s mysterious confidence“Don’t worry, it’s absolutely delicious.”

Seeing their strange expressions, Lin Feng shook his head and chuckled, then picked up a piece of iron, rubbed it on the ground a couple of times, cut off a piece of already charred meat from the block, and put it into his mouth.

“Mmm~ you can try it too.”

“I’ll go first.”

Seeing Lin Feng’s satisfied look, Qin An immediately picked up the iron piece and cut off a small slice of meat without another word.

Afterward, the others also came forward one after another and sliced off the meat that was already cooked on the outside.

“Oh, sh*t, is this a guinea pig? Such a big guinea pig?”

Adrian said in surprise.

Because the taste was very similar to the guinea pig meat he had eaten before, only the color wasn’t very similar.

After confirming that the meat in front of them was edible, the group became much happier. As for the half bottle of water they brought back, Lin Feng had already scanned it with his scanner; it was just a bottle of mineral water that had been exposed to the sun for a long time.

It didn’t taste very good and might cause diarrhea if drunk, though this varied from person to person.

Now, they had no choice.

After a simple replenishment of their energy, everyone took advantage of the sun still being up to go out again and search for usable supplies.

By night, they would use the supplies collected during the day to reinforce the safe room.

Seeing two bugs in the vicinity within just two days gave Lin Feng a bad feeling.

At night, Song Ce forged five machetes from some sharp metal, which would definitely be enough to fend off wild beasts.

The others also worked together to reinforce the broken section with several iron plates.

“Damn it, there’s another sandstorm outside.”

Qin An, who had just gathered some dry grass from outside, complained, his face covered in yellow sand.

With dry grass as a mattress at night, they could finally get a more comfortable sleep. However, the unease in Lin Feng’s heart grew more and more intense.

...........

“Lin Feng, Lin Feng! What’s wrong? We have to get up early tomorrow, aren’t you sleepy?”

Qin An poked Lin Feng, who was in a daze, and asked.

“Nothing, you go to sleep first, I’m not sleepy.”

Lin Feng replied, coming back to his senses. In fact, he had just spread out his spiritual sense because he had a feeling something would happen tonight, which was why he was so vigilant.

However, he watched for a full two hours, and outside, there was nothing but yellow sand, no abnormalities whatsoever.

“Did I overthink it?”

Lin Feng turned over and frowned.

His intuition shouldn’t be wrong.

Another hour passed.

Outside, the sandstorm still raged, and no creatures appeared. Lin Feng’s uneasy heart gradually relaxed a bit.

It seemed he had indeed overthought it.

Keeping his spiritual sense active in an environment without spiritual energy was quite tiring, so Lin Feng retracted his spiritual sense, preparing to get some good rest.

However, less than half an hour later, Lin Feng suddenly woke up.

Then he looked towards the window.

“What’s wrong with you?”

At this moment, Qin An, who was sleeping next to Lin Feng, was also woken up by the commotion Lin Feng made.

“Shh!”

Lin Feng quickly held up a finger and pointed at the glass.

“What’s wrong?”

Qin An looked at him in confusion, but no sooner had he spoken than a dark shadow slammed directly into the glass.

Fortunately, the glass material of this mech command room was special and was not shattered by the bug.

“My goodness! An Alien??”

Qin An exclaimed, looking at the figure outside the glass. The rest of them were also startled awake and followed their gaze to the glass.

Bang!!!

“It’s fine, materials used to build mechs must be very strong. We just need to wait for the creature outside to leave.”

Jin Chuan Yong saw that the bug outside had slammed the glass a few times with no effect, and immediately breathed a sigh of relief. It made sense; after all, this was material used to make mechs, how could it be so flimsy?

“I hope you’re not a jinx....”

“What?”

Jin Chuan Yong looked at Lin Feng in confusion, then looked at the command room’s glass, only to see that under the attack of the bug outside, cracks had already appeared in the glass!

“Ah, Xiba Lang Ge, how can there be shoddy work even here!”

No sooner had Jin Chuan Yong finished speaking than the glass shattered instantly.

Seeing this, Lin Feng no longer hesitated, pulled out his gun, and fired several shots at the bug falling from the air.

“Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!”

Three laser bullets shot out in a row, all hitting the bug. The hit bug also slammed directly onto the ground, twitched a few times, and then lost all movement.

“Dead?”

Lin Feng also aimed his scanner at the bug’s corpse.

“Grelia (Adult) - A special combat unit of the Zerg. Their sharp claws can tear through human mech technology, which humans are so proud of.

Skill: Feigned Death. Grelia will not die immediately after taking fatal damage. Grelia will lose vitality after 24 hours. Please do not approach casually during this period.”

“This... it should be completely dead, right?”

Lin Feng said, looking at the Grelia that had been headshotted.

“Of course it’s dead, it got headshotted, how could it not be dead? By the way, can this bug meat be eaten?”

Jin Chuan Yong confidently walked forward, wanting to examine it. Seeing this, Lin Feng immediately closed his mouth and silently took a step back.

Alright, let this guy test the waters.

It has to be said, the Koreans’ inexplicable confidence is sometimes quite useful.

The other three saw Lin Feng take a step back and also quietly retreated.

“Huh? Why are you guys so far away? Lin Feng, can this bug meat be eaten too?”

Jin Chuan Yong said, patting Grelia’s corpse with his only remaining hand.

“Roar!!”

A beast’s roar instantly sounded beside him.

The next moment, he felt a warm current brush past his face, and when he looked again, his only remaining left hand was gone.

After confirming that Grelia was indeed not completely dead, Lin Feng quickly fired two more shots.

Only then did it completely stop moving, and Lin Feng’s laser pistol only had two bullets left.

“Xi, xi, xiba....”

Jin Chuan Yong raised his severed left hand with a blank stare, then looked at his already healed right arm, rolled his eyes, and fainted directly.

“Holy crap, this bug’s vitality is so tenacious??”

“Adrian, I’ll leave him to you. So, can this bug meat be eaten??”

The group discussed animatedly, but the main point of discussion was whether this bug could actually be eaten.

As for Jin Chuan Yong?

Just leave him to Adrian to handle; a little bleeding won’t kill him anyway.

“I really want to know how this idiot survived until now, and even became the fifth-ranked....”

Adrian sighed helplessly, then, as before, dripped his own blood onto his wound.
