Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Destroy the forest floor“Beep, the host is about to enter the Survival Floor. This floor contains a large number of Savages and Mutant Savages. No items are allowed on this floor. You must survive for 7 days after entering this floor to leave.”

“Beep, quest issued: Please destroy the experimental base on this floor and kill all Savages and Mutant Savages. Reward: Biological Growth Potion (can accelerate biological growth, instantly turning juvenile creatures into adults).”

“A quest at last?”

After five days, a floor finally triggered a System quest, but...

He should still make it back in time, right?

Even if he rushed back to the Elevator at his fastest speed, it would still take him a day.

No, he still had to go back and try. Lin Feng had to get that reward from the System, after all, once he got it, he could purchase it anytime from the Points Mall. Of course, most importantly, Lin Feng also had a use for this Biological Growth Potion.

That was the Flying Magic Fish he had been keeping in his ling ring.

As soon as he saw this reward, he instinctively thought of that Flying Magic Fish. Lin Feng had just opened his ling ring again and saw it was still in its juvenile stage. It would probably take a hundred years to reach adulthood.

Lin Feng didn’t have that kind of time.

So, this reward from the Elevator was quite important to him; it would increase his cultivation by a hundred years.

Perhaps he could even break through another minor realm.

“Kuze, I suddenly have something to attend to. I’m leaving now and will come find you in a few days. Don’t forget what I asked you to do!”

Lin Feng turned his head to look at Kuze not far away.

“Leaving so soon?”

“Yes, I suddenly have some personal matters to handle.”

“Alright, just say the word if you need my help.”

Kuze shrugged. He could tell Lin Feng was indeed in a hurry.

“Don’t worry, it’s just a small matter. I’m off.”

With that, Lin Feng instantly vanished from his spot.

After Lin Feng left, Kuze called for the butler in the courtyard.

“Does Young Master Kuze have any instructions?”

“Do you still remember the Old Blind Man who begged me for food more than ten years ago?”

“Uh, I think I have a slight impression.”

The butler, who looked to be over sixty, recalled.

At that time, Kuze was quite young and was almost always raised by the butler, servants, maids, and others. Once, while out shopping, he was stopped by that Old Blind Man, who even asked Kuze for money. Later, Kuze learned those stories.

“Do you know where he’s buried?”

“Ah, this…”

The butler looked troubled. He was just an old beggar, and it was over a decade ago. After he died, he must have been buried in the mass grave outside the city, but after so many years, the original mass grave had long been covered by forest. Who could find it now?

“Go investigate where he’s buried, and also the Old Blind Man’s name.”

Kuze ordered without question.

“Yes, Young Master Kuze.”

The butler nodded and said.

Meanwhile, Lin Feng was constantly increasing his speed, only hoping to return to the Elevator as quickly as possible.

“Damn it, if only there was another teleportation beacon!”

Lin Feng raged powerlessly while continuously increasing the flow of spiritual energy.

His speed also significantly improved.

What was originally a day and a night’s journey ultimately took only fifteen hours.

“Finally made it back, I’m exhausted.”

Lin Feng said, panting heavily, then entered the Elevator without any delay.

Now, he just had to see if the Elevator door would open. If it opened, it meant the System quest could be completed. If it didn’t, Lin Feng would have missed this quest.

With a slightly anxious heart, he pressed the open button, and the Elevator door actually opened successfully.

“Phew, I made it in time! Haha, good thing I ran back to try.”

With that, Lin Feng rushed out of the Elevator.

Lin Feng probably already knew what this Survival Floor was—wasn’t it that forest floor?

He had even met that game streamer from Azure Star there.

“Wait! Azure Star?”

When Lin Feng thought of that name, he suddenly felt it sounded familiar.

Upon closer thought, wasn’t that low-level Seeker he killed on the Blue Star Floor not long ago from Azure Star?

Had their planet also been invaded by the Elevator? Or was it something else?

“Never mind, let’s quickly complete the System quest first.”

Thinking this, Lin Feng immediately spread his divine sense. In an instant, every plant and blade of grass on the entire island was within Lin Feng’s sight.

“Savages, 509; Mutant Savages, 421; Corpse Infants, 35. No humans, no living animals.”

Lin Feng said, observing the entire island from a god’s-eye view.

Then, with a thought, all the Savages instantly died.

This was a new ability Lin Feng gained after advancing to the Nascent Soul Stage.

His divine sense could now also kill people.

Of course, he could only kill cultivators of very low realms and mortals.

The Savages here were essentially no different from mortals, which was why he could eradicate them all with a single thought.

Next was to destroy the experimental base located in the mountain.

Through his divine sense, Lin Feng quickly found the entrance, but whether it was an entrance or not no longer mattered.

Wouldn’t he feel better just blasting this mountain into dust with a few spells?

After a violent shaking of the earth, the original mountain turned into a crack, and a large amount of seawater poured into the crack, just like a naturally formed ocean trench. The experimental base built inside was naturally completely destroyed.

“Beep, detected host completed quest. Reward has been issued. Please check.”

After the System spoke, a small baby bottle appeared in Lin Feng’s System Space.

That’s right, it was a small baby bottle, filled with milk from some unknown creature.

“Who cares what it is, as long as it works.”

Next, Lin Feng only needed to quietly wait here for seven days before he could leave.

Lin Feng had originally thought that once he completed the System quest, he could leave quickly, but now it seemed the Elevator had no intention of letting him leave.

Seven days in the Elevator floor should only be two days in the regular floors. He wondered if Kuze could find any news in two days.

.............................

Seven days later, everything was safe and sound, and Lin Feng successfully waited for the Elevator to descend. He hadn’t been idle during these seven days but had been cultivating in the Virtual Training Field.

Unfortunately, there was no progress.
