Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Save Song Ce”Beep, the host will be entering the Blue Star floor. You can leave after 7 days on this floor.”

”Ah? Back to Blue Star again?”

As Lin Feng’s voice faded, the Elevator’s announcement sounded.

”Ding-dong! Due to the Seeker’s long-term stable position as number one on the leaderboard, a special 7-day holiday has been granted. The Elevator will return to Blue Star in 1 minute. Seekers, please prepare. Please note, it is forbidden to bring any items back to Blue Star, and forbidden to bring any items from Blue Star back to the Elevator.”

A holiday? I’ll holiday your grandma’s leg.

Lin Feng inwardly complained.

Even a fool could see that this Elevator really wanted to kill him now.

It kept sending him to Blue Star at the drop of a hat.

At the same time, a broadcast also sounded in Song Ce’s Elevator, with content largely similar to Lin Feng’s. In any case, it was ultimately going to send him back to Blue Star. While it claimed to be a vacation, everyone knew that the Elevator’s consciousness was eager to kill those who knew the truth.

Not only did Lin Feng feel that the Elevator’s actions were a bit like pulling down one’s pants to fart, but even Song Ce saw it too.

With the Elevator’s consciousness’s ability, killing them should be as simple as crushing an ant.

Why bother using the creatures on the floors to kill them?

Soon, Lin Feng returned to Blue Star.

It was still a familiar place to him, but he didn’t know which city it was. Lin Feng didn’t dare to use his phone casually now, and the first thing he did upon returning to Blue Star was to cover his face.

With a mask and hat on, his face was completely obscured. Of course, to be safe, Lin Feng also disguised himself as Kuze.

There was nothing he could do; Song Ce and Qin An’s faces had already been put on wanted posters.

Even disguising himself as them would be useless.

”Beep, mission issued. Host, please proceed to the coordinate location in three days. This mission has no reward.”

”Hmm? A mission with no reward? This is truly the first time I’ve seen one.”

As soon as Lin Feng finished speaking, he felt something appear on his wrist. He raised his hand to look and saw it was a positioning wristband.

”Holy cow, it’s in the North Pole?!?!”

Upon seeing the coordinates, Lin Feng was directly dumbfounded. However, he still had to do this mission, even if there was no reward.

Because he remembered that last time he had found a corpse from a permanent floor near the Arctic Circle.

So Lin Feng felt that the mission issued by the system was not that simple.

Just then, Lin Feng suddenly heard the sound of police sirens in the distance.

”Damn, no way? They can recognize me even like this??”

Just as Lin Feng was about to flee, a person wearing a black robe suddenly swept past him.

The police cars that arrived afterward were not there to apprehend Lin Feng, but rather sped towards the person in the black robe.

However, that person’s speed was very fast; even with the police cars’ accelerators floored, they still couldn’t catch up.

”Something’s not right.”

Lin Feng narrowed his eyes, recalling the person’s back just now. For some reason, he just felt that person was Song Ce.

The next moment, Lin Feng’s figure vanished from his original spot and instantly appeared in front of Song Ce.

”No way?! Another Cleaner??!”

When Song Ce saw a person suddenly appear in front of him, he thought it was another Cleaner, so he tried to force his way through.

”It really is you.”

Lin Feng said in surprise, then grabbed Song Ce amidst his bewildered expression.

”Who are you???”

The scene shifted, and the two had already appeared on top of a tall building.

”I am Lin Feng.”

Saying this, Lin Feng removed his disguise and took off his mask and hat.

”Lin Feng?? Is it real or fake?”

Song Ce said with some suspicion.

”...You damn well believe it or not.”

”Hahaha, it seems it’s real then. You scared me to death; I thought another Cleaner was chasing me.”

Seeing Lin Feng’s expression, Song Ce immediately breathed a sigh of relief.

”Again? Were you just chased by a Cleaner?”

”Yes, he was right behind me, didn’t you see him??”

Lin Feng recalled upon hearing this; there was no one behind Song Ce at that time.

Could it be that Cleaners can only be seen by the person they are chasing?

After he voiced his question, Song Ce also nodded.

”It should be like that. Hey? Where’s the Cleaner? Why isn’t he chasing me anymore??”

Just then, Song Ce suddenly noticed that the omnipresent Cleaner had actually disappeared.

He had originally thought that after returning to Blue Star this time, he would be chased for seven days and seven nights again. Now, it seemed he had temporarily escaped the Cleaner’s pursuit.

”Don’t get happy too soon. Oh, right, didn’t you just return to Blue Star not long ago? Why are you back again?”

Lin Feng turned his head and asked. As for why the Cleaner hadn’t caught up, Lin Feng felt it was probably because he was carrying a feather.

The effect of this feather might be area-based.

”Damn, don’t even mention it. The Elevator broadcast said I’ve been consistently in the top five of the rankings, so I’m specially rewarded with a seven-day holiday.”

Song Ce said with a constipated expression. Ever since he learned the truth about Blue Star, this holiday was something even a dog wouldn’t want.

Fortunately, Lin Feng helped him out this time, temporarily escaping the Cleaner’s tracking.

Thinking of this, Song Ce smiled.

”I didn’t expect my luck to be this good this time, to actually run into you. Thanks for helping me out just now.”

”No problem, it was just a coincidence. I thought those cops were coming to arrest me.”

As soon as Lin Feng finished speaking, the sound of a helicopter appeared beside his ears.

”Holy cow, they’re even using helicopters!”

Although Lin Feng could directly shoot down this helicopter, if he did, the next time it appeared, it might be a fighter jet, or even missiles.

So he grabbed Song Ce’s arm, and with a thought, the next second, the two appeared in a desolate place.

”It should be safe now.”

This place seemed to be a nature reserve; besides wild animals, there were no traces of human life.

”Wait for me to turn on the signal jammer.”

After saying that, Song Ce activated the signal jammer on his arm.

He had added this after his last narrow escape from Blue Star.

It was to avoid being pursued, but he didn’t know if it would work.

”Alright, you little rascal, you’re well-equipped.”

”Of course. This time, I even prepared an EMP gun. With one shot, the Cleaner will convulse all over and be unable to move. It takes about ten seconds for the Cleaner to recover. It’s just a shame I brought too few batteries.”

Because the Cleaner chasing him had the same body structure as him, he could use electromagnetic pulse attacks to incapacitate the Cleaner, thereby gaining hope of escape.

It had to be said, Song Ce’s luck was quite good.
