Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Arriving at the Arctic Circle“This place looks pretty safe.”

Song Ce looked at his surroundings, then plopped down onto the grass.

“Let’s hope so.”

Lin Feng also nodded. He hadn’t expected to meet Song Ce on this floor. In three days, he would be heading to the North Pole. At that time, without the Key Feather’s protection, Song Ce would probably have to rely on luck.

However, seeing how well prepared he was, escaping the Cleaner’s pursuit shouldn’t be difficult.

After discussing for a bit, the two decided to temporarily hide there and only consider leaving once the police who were after them had gone.

Since both of them were very strong, surviving a few days in this nature reserve was not a problem at all. Before long, a simple straw hut was built.

Because they were worried that the smoke from a fire would attract the police’s attention, they did not light one.

As night fell, the sky suddenly became overcast, and soon raindrops began to patter down.

Fortunately, he and Song Ce had built the wooden hut in advance, which was barely enough to shelter them from the rain.

Of course, even without the wooden hut, Lin Feng wouldn’t have gotten wet; he could simply use spiritual energy to create a barrier.

“Brother Lin, aren’t you going to eat something?”

Song Ce, who was gnawing on raw rabbit meat, said to Lin Feng, while also handing him a rabbit leg.

“No, thanks.”

Saying that, Lin Feng quietly took out a box of luxurious self-heating rice.

Song Ce: .........

“Holy cow! You have such good stuff, why didn’t you take it out earlier?!”

Song Ce thought Lin Feng had bought it from a supermarket after returning to Blue Star, and immediately got excited.

“You didn’t ask.”

Lin Feng shrugged, then took out another box from his System Space.

“Here, eat.”

“Thanks.”

...................

After a night, the heavy rain gradually stopped. After a night of rain, the dry grass on the roof of the wooden hut was already leaking. If Lin Feng hadn’t directly used spiritual energy to create a protective shield, Song Ce’s components would probably have short-circuited.

Thinking of this problem, Lin Feng also curiously asked him if the parts on his body were waterproof.

In the end, Song Ce looked at Lin Feng with an expression that said he was an idiot.

Right, if they weren’t waterproof, Song Ce would have been finished long ago.

Today was still very safe. The Cleaner and the police hadn’t found them.

Song Ce even planned to stay in this place for seven days before leaving.

But Lin Feng couldn’t, he still had to complete the tasks given by the System.

“Brother Song, I have to go to the North Pole in two days. You’ll probably have to stay here by yourself for the next few days.”

“What? Go to the North Pole?? How are you going to get there??”

Song Ce looked at Lin Feng with a face full of surprise. Taking a plane was definitely out of the question; he would probably be caught as soon as he reached the airport. As for stowing away on a ship, even if there was a ship passing by that area, there wouldn’t be enough time.

“How do you think I brought you here?”

A faint smile played on Lin Feng’s lips.

“Uh....”

It was then that Song Ce remembered that Lin Feng could seemingly fly.

He had suddenly brought him from the street to the rooftop before. Although it looked like teleportation, it was actually due to his speed reaching a certain level.

“Alright, I’ll be fine here by myself.”

Song Ce nodded. He felt that with Lin Feng’s strength, he probably didn’t need to worry about the Cleaner’s pursuit, so he didn’t take it to heart. Besides, it had been so long, and the Cleaner still hadn’t found them. Song Ce felt that their current location should be quite safe.

So safe that even the Cleaner couldn’t find them. Little did he know, when Lin Feng left, he would embark on a path of escape again.

Two days later.

“Brother Song Ce, I’ll be leaving now. Take care of yourself.”

“Alright, be careful.”

Although Song Ce didn’t know what Lin Feng was going to do in the North Pole, since Lin Feng didn’t proactively tell him, he wouldn’t ask, or else he would be overstepping.

Not long after Lin Feng left, Song Ce was still gnawing on the beef jerky Lin Feng had given him, when suddenly the air in front of him twisted.

The next moment, the Cleaner who looked exactly like him appeared.

“Holy cow!!!!”

No sooner had Song Ce’s voice fallen than the Cleaner slightly raised his hand, and the next moment, a laser beam shot towards him.

Fortunately, this attack was not fatal. Song Ce reacted quickly and immediately ejected the electromagnetic pulse gun from his arm.

Whoosh!

Buzz!

After a piercing sound, the Cleaner instantly paralyzed on the spot. Song Ce seized this opportunity and turned to run.

At the same time, he faintly felt that something was wrong.

Why such a coincidence?

Lin Feng just left, and the Cleaner came looking?

This thought only flashed through his mind. The most important thing now was to escape; it wouldn’t be too late to consider these things once he was safe.

On the other side, Lin Feng had already flown to an altitude of five thousand meters and was continuously accelerating at that height.

His current speed was already unknown how many times faster than an airplane.

In a short while, he successfully left the territory of Xia Country and continued flying north.

Finally, after about 16 to 17 hours, Lin Feng arrived within the Arctic Circle.

After checking the precise coordinates on his watch, Lin Feng followed the flight path all the way.

He finally successfully reached the location marked by the System.

“This place, why does it look so familiar?”

Looking at the glacier in front of him, Lin Feng fell into a brief contemplation, then didn’t think much of it, as such glaciers were common there.

Their similarity was almost identical.

“The System must have a special purpose for sending me here.”

After landing, Lin Feng saw that the System did not give a task completion prompt, and immediately began to analyze.

Could it be that the System wants me to find something here?

Just as Lin Feng was hesitantly pacing back and forth, he suddenly stepped into nothingness beneath his feet and fell directly into an ice hole.

“Hmm??”

Lin Feng looked up in surprise, only to see that there was clearly an ice layer where he had just stepped through.

He flew up and touched it, only to find that this layer of ice was actually fake.

Just like a projection, it had no physical form and could be passed through at will.

Could it be that the item the System wanted him to find was inside this ice hole?

Lin Feng landed again and scanned the ice hole with his divine sense.

The next moment, he suddenly opened his eyes wide.

“Key Feather?!”

Lin Feng’s shocked voice echoed continuously in this ice hole.

He never expected that a Key Feather was hidden in this place. So, the System had sent him to find this item.

“Hahaha, the eighth one, it’s the eighth one.”

Lin Feng punched through an ice wall, then took out the feather hidden inside.
