Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Make a friendLin Feng was immediately amused when he saw the message Song Ce sent.

The only way to avoid the Cleaners’ pursuit was to rely on the feathers, but there was no way Lin Feng would give them to Song Ce, as he wasn’t familiar with him, and it would be awkward if he gave them and Song Ce didn’t return them.

Despite this, Lin Feng still replied to Song Ce.

Lin Feng: ”There are some safe places on Blue Star that Cleaners can’t find, called safe houses. If you can find one, you can hide there. Safe houses are generally built by previous Seekers, so whether you can find one depends on whether they are willing to save you.”

Song Ce: ”?? Safe house? Previous Seekers?”

Lin Feng: ”That’s right, previous Seekers. Some of them also learned the truth about Blue Star and stayed there. And somehow, they managed to build safe houses that can evade Cleaners. The last time I returned to Blue Star, I was saved by a Seeker in his sixties, but I don’t know the exact location of the safe house.”

Song Ce: ”Is that so? Alright, thank you very much. So, are we allies now?”

Lin Feng: ”Allies? Probably.”

Although he didn’t know why Song Ce said that, not many people knew the truth, so they should be on the same side. However, what Lin Feng wanted to know more was how Song Ce knew the truth.

Lin Feng: ”So, how did you know about Blue Star’s situation?”

Song Ce: ”Sigh, when I returned to Blue Star this time, I discovered many strange things, and then somehow, my mind started to doubt the authenticity of Blue Star. As soon as that thought popped up, someone who looked exactly like me started chasing me, and I couldn’t even defeat him. So I kept running, and that person was omnipresent; every time I felt safe for a moment, he would suddenly appear.”

Song Ce: ”It was only because of that person’s appearance that I became even more certain that the Blue Star we returned to was fake. Then I became an international wanted criminal. Coincidentally, I saw your name and Qin An’s name, so I guessed that both of you also knew the truth.”

Lin Feng: ”Then you’re quite impressive; you’ve been chased by the Cleaner for so many days and are still alive.”

Song Ce: ”No, no, no, the Cleaner is not invincible; he also has a weakness. His weakness is the same as the weakness of the person he imitates. He imitated me, and I naturally know my own weakness, so by attacking the Cleaner’s weakness, I successfully evaded many pursuits.”

This message undoubtedly shook Lin Feng. The Cleaner also had weaknesses?

Lin Feng remembered that the last time he fought the Cleaner, the person the Cleaner imitated seemed to be Qin An, right?

Hmm, he’d ask Anzi what his weakness was later.

As for his own weakness?

Lin Feng wasn’t really sure about that.

Whether physically or mentally, Lin Feng didn’t seem to have any weaknesses.

Then Anzi was really unlucky, and he didn’t know if what Song Ce said was true or false, after all, the Cleaner Qin An encountered last time imitated him.

”Should I research a weakness for myself?”

After speaking, Lin Feng couldn’t help but want to laugh. Everyone else tried their best not to expose their weaknesses, but he, on the other hand, had to find a way to discover his own weakness.

Never mind, Qin An had the feathers for protection anyway, so the Cleaner couldn’t find him.

”This should be fine now, right?”

After waiting for a while and seeing that Song Ce hadn’t sent any more messages, Lin Feng wanted to exit the chat room.

At this moment, Song Ce was still hesitating whether to tell Lin Feng about attacking him.

Finally, after a struggle of thoughts, Song Ce told the truth.

Song Ce: ”There’s something I think I need to tell you. When we were on the Wasteland Robot Floor, I attacked you once. I don’t know if you still remember. Also, the last time all the Seekers ganged up on you in the Slaughter Space Floor, it was also instigated by me. If I hadn’t said anything, you probably wouldn’t have known, right?”

Lin Feng did remember both things Song Ce mentioned, especially the first time he was ambushed. Lin Feng had a deep impression of it; his hair was directly burned off by the flying bullet at that time. If it had been more accurate, he probably would have been scalped. As for all the Seekers ganging up on him in the Slaughter Space...

Lin Feng felt that even without an instigator, those Seekers would have voluntarily teamed up to challenge him, after all, the conditions offered by the Elevator at that time were very tempting: as long as they killed him, they could return to Blue Star forever.

Lin Feng: ”So, are you saying this to provoke me?”

Song Ce: ”No, no, no, I think we can... we can be friends. As the saying goes, ’no discord, no concord.’ I admit I made mistakes before, and you can do whatever you want to me, but I hope that in the face of major issues, we can distinguish our enemies. The Elevator is our common enemy, and I believe you also want to return to the real Blue Star, right?”

Looking at the message Song Ce sent, Lin Feng couldn’t help but smile. He had to admit that this person had some ability; otherwise, he wouldn’t have survived the Cleaner’s onslaught. Moreover, he was quite bold; he actually dared to proactively tell him about the bad things he had done.

If Lin Feng were a narrow-minded person, he probably wouldn’t have let him off.

However, Lin Feng seemed to have already gotten his revenge. Thinking of Song Ce being tormented for seven days and nights on the Xuanhuan Floor and finally returning to the Elevator barely alive, Lin Feng felt like laughing.

Lin Feng: ”Alright, no discord, no concord. Don’t worry, I’m not a narrow-minded person either. You’re right, the Elevator is our common enemy.”

In another Elevator, Song Ce breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Lin Feng’s message. Fortunately, he hadn’t gambled wrong. He hadn’t expected Lin Feng to be so broad-minded. He really had been foolish before, trying to kill him for some resources.

And now, those precious resources were no longer valuable, and even gold coins were not as attractive to Seekers.

Now that things were clear, Song Ce felt much more at ease. At least next time he saw Lin Feng, he wouldn’t have to put on various acts.

”The Cleaner’s weakness... Hmm, I should tell Qin An, even though he won’t need it.”

Saying that, Lin Feng opened Qin An’s chat box, posted the content, and then left the Elevator.

How could living in the Elevator be as comfortable as living in the Villa?

The infinitely refreshing pool was also looked after by 101, and if any unsolvable problems arose, Lin Feng would be quickly contacted.

”Beep, the host is about to enter the Survival Floor. There are five Seekers on this floor. Upon entering this floor, all Seekers’ four attribute values will be reduced to 20 points and will be restored after the floor ends.”
