Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Death SoldierA moment later, Lin Feng slowly opened his eyes.

”Good heavens, this person has quite the background.”

After reading the memories, Lin Feng also knew the identity of the person in front of him.

He was a loyal assassin trained from a young age, starting at three and continuing until eighteen, and his master was actually an heir of the Ku Clan.

He had also appeared in the construction crew that built the Villa not long ago.

Now he was secretly lurking around the Villa again, clearly with ill intentions.

However, since this matter was an internal struggle within Kuze’s family, Lin Feng decided to simply hand this assassin over to Kuze.

As for what happened next, Lin Feng felt that in this Magic World, no one should be able to threaten him.

”Damn, is this guy an idiot?”

Lin Feng looked at the assassin in front of him, then slapped him twice.

However, there was no reaction; his gaze remained vacant, which seemed to be a side effect of the extraction technique, but it didn’t matter, he should recover soon.

Just then, Lin Feng suddenly thought that assassins usually carry poison in their teeth, ready to commit suicide by ingesting it if caught.

After a moment of thought, he had 101 bring him a pair of pointed pliers.

”Should I pull all his teeth out?”

Lin Feng rubbed his hands with some anticipation; he had never pulled anyone’s teeth before, and the thought of it seemed quite fun.

..................

Half an hour later, after pulling out the last molar, Lin Feng nodded in satisfaction, then applied a surge of spiritual energy to heal the wounds caused by the extractions.

As for poison, he didn’t find any; perhaps the customs here were different from Blue Star.

However, the problem now was that the assassin in front of him still had a vacant gaze, as if his brainstem had been dug out.

”Forget it, tie him up and throw him to Kuze to figure out.”

Lin Feng couldn’t be bothered with it anymore; he would explain the situation to Kuze later and let Kuze handle it himself.

He didn’t know the assassin’s specific purpose for being around the Villa; in his memories, his master had only told him to thoroughly investigate the situation inside the Villa.

After knocking the assassin unconscious with spiritual energy, Lin Feng carried him and flew towards Gryphon City, finding Kuze at a banquet, where Lin Feng also managed to snag a meal.

After the banquet, Lin Feng told Kuze about the assassin, and also informed him that the assassin’s master was one of their family’s heirs; as for who it was, Lin Feng didn’t know, because even after searching the assassin’s memories, he didn’t know the person’s name, nor did the assassin even know what that person looked like, only that the person always wore a fox mask.

Kuze was clearly very concerned about this matter and believed Lin Feng without hesitation.

”If nothing unexpected happens, it’s a certain heir preparing to use some underhanded tactics against me. I’m sorry to have implicated you, Brother Lin.”

Kuze said with an apologetic expression.

”It’s nothing.”

Lin Feng waved his hand, not caring.

”This assassin seems to have gone silly. See if he’s still useful; if not, just bury him.”

”Mm, alright, thank you, Brother Lin.”

Kuze said solemnly, and Lin Feng also waved goodbye.

After Lin Feng left, Kuze summoned a mysterious alchemist.

”Young Master Kuze, what are your orders?”

”Can you turn him into a puppet?”

”Yes, Young Master Kuze.”

The mysterious alchemist bowed slightly, then dragged the unconscious assassin away.

Kuze’s idea was simple: directly control the assassin, then send him back as his informant. He wanted to see who was so quick to lose patience.

”Wei, the plan might change. Go home and tell them to prepare in advance.”

Kuze spoke to the air; although the room was empty, he knew his top general was nearby.

”Yes, Young Master Kuze.”

Wei’s voice came from somewhere, and then he went to do what Kuze had instructed him.

.................

”Beep, the floor the host is about to enter is the Chaos Floor. This floor has no rules, will be open for 24 hours, and will randomly select one thousand Seekers from all Survival Worlds to enter.”

”Note: After killing a Seeker on this floor, you will obtain all of the other party’s supplies within their Elevator. Please enter the floor within thirty minutes. After thirty minutes, the Elevator will close.”

On the way, the system’s voice suddenly rang out, and after hearing the floor description, Lin Feng couldn’t help but feel a little interested.

What interested him was not that he could obtain all supplies after killing a Seeker, but that the Seekers on this floor came from any Survival World.

This meant there would be many Seekers from high-level Survival Worlds.

Perhaps he could find secrets related to the Elevator from them.

”Beep, attention, this floor requires entry within thirty minutes. After thirty minutes, the floor will close.”

Lin Feng: ”..........”

”Damn it, you should have said so earlier.”

After sighing, Lin Feng decided not to enter this floor, because he simply couldn’t make it in time.

Even if he flew back at his fastest speed, it would be useless.

”Forget it, there will always be another chance next time.”

.............................

Seven hours later, Lin Feng finally returned to the Elevator, and the Chaos Floor had long since closed.

It must be said that missing this floor left Lin Feng with a slight regret.

Standing in front of the screen and selecting an attached floor, Lin Feng was immediately disappointed, because none of today’s attached floors triggered a system mission.

With nothing to do, he could only continue cultivating.

Many more days passed like this; Lin Feng did not enter any of the random floors these days, but instead focused wholeheartedly on cultivating in the Virtual Training Field.

The Infinite Pool had not refreshed any good items during this time, though quite a few dangerous creatures appeared, all of which were taken down by Little Dragon.

On the other side, Kuze had already re-inserted the assassin, and at the same time, because he captured a legendary magical beast, his status within the family also rose another notch, and he could now basically secure his position as an heir.

However, this position was clearly not so easy to hold; in these past few days, Kuze had encountered five or six assassination attempts, both big and small. Fortunately, his own strength was strong enough, and he was always accompanied by guards wherever he went, so nothing happened to him.
