Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

The floor merchants are coming! In a flash, evening arrived.

The Eighth Route Army troops who rushed to the county town inexplicably accepted the surrender of the puppet army, as well as all the supplies in the entire county town.

Due to the special geographical location of this county town, there were a lot of various supplies stored inside; just the various medicines alone filled eight large carts.

Guns and ammunition were even more countless, and it was only with the help of those few hundred puppet Soldier that the arsenal was emptied; otherwise, it would have to be blown up.

As for grain, the Eighth Route Army only took a small portion, distributing the rest to the local civilians.

Civilians willing to go to the base area with the Eighth Route Army also followed them back.

By the time the devils’ reinforcements arrived at the county town, it was basically no different from an empty city.

“Baka!!!!”

In the command post of a certain city’s garrison nearby, a devil colonel angrily smashed everything on the table.

Although Wude was just a small county town, its geographical location was very special, and the supplies stored inside were also related to their planned large-scale sweeping operation.

Now, all the supplies had been plundered.

The large-scale sweeping operation, which was about to be implemented, would now be postponed indefinitely.

Moreover, it was rumored that the greatest credit for the county town being captured so quickly actually went to the puppet army they had nurtured.

The more he thought about it, the angrier the colonel became, directly kicking over the table in front of him, then grabbing a nearby Soldier and slapping him.

“Baka!!”

“Hai!”

The slapped Soldier quickly lowered his head.

“These fence-sitters! If they weren’t still somewhat useful, I would definitely make them pay the price!”

Knock, knock, knock!

At this moment, a knocking sound was heard.

“Come in!”

As soon as the words fell, a bowing, trembling officer walked in.

“Colonel Takeo, your subordinate is absolutely loyal to the Imperial Army; what happened in Wude County is also related to your subordinate, and I will definitely educate the other Soldier well after I return home. Please punish your subordinate, Colonel Takeo!”

Wang Hong looked at the chaotic office and felt his heart turn cold from fright; such a big mistake occurred among the puppet army he managed, and he probably couldn’t even keep his current position now.

“Haha, Wang-san, don’t be nervous. I have already thoroughly understood this matter, and it has nothing to do with you. It was caused by those Soldier long-term oppression of the Imperial Allied Army. I have just severely criticized the officers of other county towns.”

“Moreover, you are my right-hand man; how could I punish you? Alright, Wang-san, go back!”

“Hai! Thank you, Colonel Takeo!”

Wang Hong immediately breathed a sigh of relief. Although he didn’t know what was wrong with this little devil, as long as he wasn’t blamed, it was fine.

Takeo, on the other hand, watched the departing Wang Hong with a strange smile.

........

On the other side, Lin Feng arrived at a dilapidated temple.

He would spend the night here.

Anyway, it wasn’t particularly cold at night, and just as Lin Feng took off his armor, a voice came.

“Hey, Village Hero, want to trade!”

A short dwarf suddenly ran out of the darkness.

At this moment, Lin Feng remembered that he would definitely encounter a Floor Merchant on this floor. He didn’t expect them to come to the War Floor.

Fortunately, he brought some gold coins in his cowhide backpack.

“What do you have?”

Lin Feng looked at the short dwarf in a cloak in front of him, curious about what kind of creatures these Floor Merchants actually were.

“Please wait.”

The Floor Merchant quickly took out everything from his backpack.
