Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Ice beer + ice watermelonDiscussions about that mech in the chat room still hadn’t stopped, and as more and more people returned to the Elevator, the discussions became even more heated.

Of course, this was purely because they had nothing to do.

It wasn’t easy to finally have something to chat about, so why not use it to relieve boredom?

Lin Feng stopped paying attention later and instead took out the Gem of Sanity he had bought from the Floor Merchant and crushed it directly.

Crack ~

A viscous liquid flowed out of the gem and was all absorbed into Lin Feng’s body.

He opened his attribute panel, and his Sanity had become 12 points; the title added 5 points, and the Gem of Sanity added 2 points.

Now Lin Feng was no longer very afraid of encountering floors with mysterious creatures; in addition to increased Sanity, he also had trump cards against mysterious creatures: Spirit-Slaying Talismans plus Consecrated Bullets.

Next was to make Revival Coins.

Soul Core plus a silver coin engraved with runes.

He was really lucky to have collected enough so quickly; it might have a tiny bit to do with his high Luck value of 5 points.

Coming to the workbench, Lin Feng placed the Soul Core and silver coin on it.

The Soul Core was a blue heart, soft to the touch and very elastic.

After selecting the crafting method for the Revival Coin, Lin Feng clicked craft.

Soon, with a series of operations, the Soul Core was fused into the silver coin.

A brand new Revival Coin was freshly made, identical to the one rewarded by the system; now Lin Feng had a total of two Revival Coins, which further increased his trump cards.

Because the previous floor ended quickly, Lin Feng now had a lot of time; since he was idle anyway, Lin Feng began to organize his supplies, putting all the things he didn’t need or had too much of up for sale to Exchange for upgrade materials.

However, the most popular items right now were still those that relieved heat; some people had already claimed to have heatstroke and were barely holding on.

Fortunately, the temperature inside the Elevator had been steadily dropping recently; if possible, there was still a chance it would return to normal temperatures.

To be honest, Lin Feng was also suffering from the heat, but thankfully he had the air cooler and cold water to cool down.

Little Velociraptor seemed to have realized something now.

That was, as long as he ran on the treadmill, the air cooler would blow cool air.

So now, this guy didn’t even need Lin Feng’s instructions; he would run on it for a while when he felt hot.

After all, Little Velociraptor was currently in his prime, full of energy, and his power generation efficiency was much higher than Lin Feng’s.

Looking at the more than half-full battery, Lin Feng took out the ice maker, plugged it in, and started making ice.

Soon, a large box of ice cubes was ready.

When he stocked up at that department store supermarket before, Lin Feng had bought several boxes of fruit, which now came in handy.

Among them were fruits like watermelon, which were easy to juice.

Taking a large watermelon out of his backpack, he cut it in half, then used a knife to mash all the pulp inside, and the watermelon juice was complete.

Add ice cubes, and it was incredibly refreshing with one sip.

”Little Longlong, stop running, here’s something delicious for you.”

Lin Feng placed the other half of the watermelon on the ground and called out to Little Velociraptor.

”Awoo!”

Hearing there was something delicious, Little Velociraptor sprinted over.

Actually, fruits were also sold in the Exchange; after all, with so many people, someone was bound to pick them up, but the prices were expensive, and they weren’t very fresh.

Not everyone had a spatial backpack.

In such a hot environment, fruit lasting two days was already quite good.

They also hadn’t reached the level where they could temporarily store items in the Exchange.

”Oh, right, how could I forget my good son when eating watermelon?”

Lin Feng slapped his head, then took out another watermelon and hung it in the Exchange along with ice cubes; the trading item was anything, so Qin An could even trade over a pile of poop, of course, assuming he dared to do so.

Lin Feng: [Good son, your father is rewarding you with a watermelon; it’s so refreshing and cool.]

Qin An: [Watermelon?! Is it true, Godfather?!]

Good heavens, how did this guy become more and more shameless...

Lin Feng: [It’s true, just trade over anything you want.]

Soon, Lin Feng found Qin An’s trade information among the many trade messages.

A bottle of beer, a big green bottle, cold and refreshing, it must have been placed in ice water beforehand.

Seeing this, Lin Feng’s eyebrows slightly raised.

”Where did this guy get beer from...”

Qin An: [I just picked up this beer from the last floor; I chilled it in ice water. Let’s clink glasses.]

Looking at the message from Qin An, Lin Feng smiled.

Lin Feng: [Cheers!]

After saying that, Lin Feng drank half a bottle in one go.

After drinking, he smacked his lips; he didn’t really drink much, but his alcohol tolerance was pretty good.

.........

After a bottle of iced beer and half an iced watermelon, Lin Feng was already full; of course, he was just full of water.

After burping, Lin Feng was about to close the chat channel when he found that Qin An had sent him another message.

Qin An: [I ran into the Floor Merchant again on the last floor, and then I bought a Prospector’s Pouch for 60 gold coins. I wonder if it was worth it.]

Lin Feng: [Elaborate.]

Qin An: [How should I put it, this pouch is very similar to a spatial ring in fantasy novels, but not quite; it has two slots, each capable of holding 100 kilograms of stuff. Damn, after buying it, I felt a bit ripped off.]

On the other side, Lin Feng scratched his head looking at Qin An’s message; if it were him, it wasn’t a loss at all. Isn’t this just a Castrated version of the cowhide backpack?

Lin Feng: [This thing is still very useful. Think about it, time inside it is still, so you can completely store food in it.]

Qin An: [Holy crap! You’ve got a point!]

......

After closing the chat room, Lin Feng went to the treadmill and started jogging slowly, just to help with digestion.

More than five hours later, a surging urge to urinate struck, and Lin Feng instantly woke up from his sleep.

Lin Feng, upon waking, breathed a sigh of relief; thankfully, he didn’t look for a toilet in his dream.

He got up and went to the toilet to pee ~ ~

Next time, I will never eat watermelon before sleeping again...

Lin Feng yawned, thinking to himself.

The air cooler was still on, and the temperature in the Elevator was very comfortable; after finishing his business, Lin Feng continued to sleep.

.....

”Beep, the floor the host is about to enter is Bloodthirsty Delivery. This floor requires the host to deliver 3 packages. Upon completion, a random Elevator upgrade resource supply box will be obtained.

Note: This floor is a ghostly creature floor; please choose your equipment carefully before entering.”

”Beep, task triggered: Friendly Deliveryman. Please obtain 2 or more five-star reviews. Reward: Luck +1.”

Ghostly creature floor?!

Lin Feng’s eyes lit up, and he immediately picked up his hk assault rifle, and by the way, loaded all the remaining magazines with Consecrated Bullets.

He even brought the Spirit-Slaying Talismans with him.

Five-star reviews?

I’ll point a gun at your head; let’s see if you give a five-star review.

This is also a good opportunity to test the power of these Consecrated Bullets.
