Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

The passive skill of the puppet army fence-sitter is activated! The screen at this moment displayed the nano-drone’s flight speed, altitude, and remaining power.

The nano-drone was only slightly larger than a fly, and it was unclear how it was researched, but the image was incredibly clear.

Soon, Lin Feng controlled the nano-drone to arrive in the sky above the county town.

Half an hour later, the entire layout of the county town had been memorized by Lin Feng.

The Japanese military camp was in the central area of the county town, along with two armories and several granaries.

Looking at the scale of this military camp, it wasn’t very large; it probably only housed a company.

However, the Second Devils’ military camps were not small, with two camps each to the east and west.

But Lin Feng truly didn’t take the Second Devils’ combat power seriously.

”Hehe, today I’ll let you witness what it means for a god to descend!”

Lin Feng crouched behind a stone, then clicked to launch the rocket from his back.

After the rocket was launched, Lin Feng realized that this was not a rocket at all; wasn’t this a particle beam cannon?

A white light quickly flew into the sky, and Lin Feng immediately used his pupils to control the direction of the rocket’s flight.

With the experience of controlling the nano-drone just now, controlling this rocket was not difficult.

Soon, the rocket flew directly over the military camp in the center of the county town.

Lin Feng sneered, and directly detonated it downwards; with a burst of static on the screen, the rocket exploded.

”Boom!!!”

More than half of the military camp was instantly razed to the ground, but the armories and granaries were not destroyed.

The sudden massive explosion directly stirred up the entire county town.

The civilians quickly fled back to their homes.

Almost all of the Japanese Soldier in the military camp were dead.

Only those patrolling in the county town and those stationed on the city wall remained, numbering at most forty or fifty people.

”Woo!!!”

”Woo!!”

”Assemble! Assemble!”

Deafening whistles sounded in the two Second Devils’ military camps, and soon, crooked formations assembled.

The Japanese Soldier on the city wall also quickly used their phones to contact the military camp; however, they received no reply.

At this time, a squad leader responsible for garrisoning the city wall quickly took over command.

”Baka! That was definitely a howitzer just now! It must be the main force of the Eighth Route Army! Quick! Hurry and call for reinforcements!!!”

The squad leader shouted while scouting the distance with binoculars.

”Hai!”

The nearby signalman quickly operated the telegraph on the table.

At the same time, the huge explosion also reached the ears of the guerrillas active nearby.

Soon, this news reached the Eighth Route Army’s base area.

”Regimental Commander! Wude County was attacked by some unknown unit! I heard that many Japanese seem to have died, and several nearby county towns have started to gather troops to go and support! Should we do something?”

”Hiss, which unit is it, with such guts, and even cannons? The nearby KMT forces haven’t moved either.”

”Forget it! At such a lively time, I, Old Li, also have to lend a hand! Assemble the troops! You take two battalions to intercept the reinforcements, and I’ll go see which unit is attacking the county town!”

”But, Regimental Commander, the higher-ups haven’t given us orders yet. If the political commissar finds out we’ve rashly sent troops, wouldn’t that be bad?”

”Get out of here! Assemble the troops for me!”

”Yes!”

............

On the other side, the Second Devils in the entire Wude County town were already in a state of panic, because some who had served in the military mistakenly thought it was a howitzer explosion. Under the exaggerated popular science of these people, the Second Devils, who initially didn’t take it seriously, were now so scared that they couldn’t even hold their guns steady.

Just then, a blue orb of light suddenly flew over.

Boom!!

A section of the city wall was directly blown apart.

All the Second Devils standing on the city wall were also crushed to death.

”I, I’m not doing this anymore! I’m not fighting!”

At this moment, a Second Devils threw his gun and scrambled down the city wall. Other Second Devils also felt tempted by this, after all, most of them were forcibly conscripted into being Second Devils, and all they wanted was to make a living.

Of course, there were also many vicious, pure traitors.

Bang!

”Baka! Go back, all of you, go back to the city wall!”

The Japanese squad leader shot and killed the Second Devils who ran down the city wall, then shouted. Dozens of Japanese Soldier below the city wall also raised their weapons.

However, they somewhat overestimated themselves...

After all, the puppet army’s strength was several times theirs.

However, because these puppet troops had long been in a state of oppression, if no one took the lead, they would not dare to resist.

Just then, Lin Feng’s armor’s rocket had finished recharging.

Whoosh!

A few seconds later, the city wall was directly blown down.

The dozen or so Second Devils standing on it were also blown to smithereens.

Several Second Devils who tried to escape down the city wall were again shot and killed by the Japanese Soldier below.

”Battalion Commander, we can’t just let our brothers die in vain like this!”

”Exactly, Battalion Commander, if this continues, how many of our brothers will die!”

”These damn Japanese are not good people; they make our brothers wait for death on the city wall while they lie down below!”

Because no enemy had been seen yet, coupled with the sudden incoming shells, the entire puppet army was currently in a state of panic.

”Baka! You damn commoners, all of you die!”

”If anyone dares to escape again, this is what will happen!”

The squad leader below shouted again, and these few sentences directly enraged the puppet army’s battalion commander.

”Damn these Japanese! Brothers! Fight for me! At worst, we’ll defect to the Eighth Route Army!”

Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang----

”Damn you Japanese! I’ve long been fed up with you! Do you really think we have no temper?!”

Apparently, these puppet troops had been bullied a lot on a daily basis, and at this moment, they also decisively backstabbed.

This could be considered standard operating procedure for puppet armies.

Some could even mingle among all three factions, after all, someone with a gun is always wanted.

Lin Feng was a little confused by the gunshots on the city wall.

What’s going on?

Are they fighting among themselves?

After releasing the nano-drone, Lin Feng immediately burst into laughter.

Well, this is just dog-eat-dog, isn’t it?

Of course, if he hadn’t destroyed the Japanese military camp, and then the two subsequent explosions, it’s estimated that these Second Devils wouldn’t have rebelled so decisively.

Now Lin Feng didn’t have to worry; after a while, the gunshots stopped.

All the Japanese Soldier in the county town were killed; some Japanese even had more than a dozen bullet holes in them, and several conspicuous white flags were raised on the city walls of the county town.

”Sir, there is a large amount of life activity appearing behind you.”

”Hmm? Could it be Japanese reinforcements?”

Lin Feng glanced at the radar; they were still over three hundred meters away from him.

”Activate the nano-drone.”

After Lin Feng finished speaking, he controlled the nano-drone to fly over.

”So that’s how it is. Then I won’t interfere anymore.”

Lin Feng chuckled as he looked at the images transmitted on the screen.

The approaching troops were not Japanese reinforcements, but Eighth Route Army Soldier wearing gray or khaki military uniforms.

All the puppet troops in this county town had already surrendered.

The supplies inside could be considered Lin Feng’s greeting gift to these predecessors.
