Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Get outOld Cui’s situation wasn’t optimistic, as they were targeted by Merryweather (a military Security Guards company).

”Damn it, where did these guys get their information?”

Old Mike cursed, but he couldn’t help now; he could only tell Old Cui and the others to be careful.

Now, he and Lin Feng had to figure out how to escape.

”Hold on tight!”

Just then, Lin Feng shouted, and the vehicle shook violently.

Two police cars blocking the road were instantly sent flying.

The tire spikes laid on the ground were completely useless.

”Old Mike! This car you guys modified is practically an armored vehicle!”

”Hahahaha! It’s more than enough to shake off those cops!”

Old Mike said, clutching the wound on his leg.

It was already bandaged and wouldn’t bleed for now.

”Where are the FBI helicopters? Why are they all gone?”

It was only then that Lin Feng noticed there were no helicopters pursuing them in the air.

This was too abnormal.

”Maybe some of them went to search for Old Cui and his group, plus we shot down so many helicopters, it’s normal for them to not have enough. This also makes it easier for us to escape.”

As soon as Old Mike finished speaking, Lin Feng glanced in the rearview mirror and saw that the police cars were still relentlessly chasing him.

”Old Mike, hold on tight, the old driver is about to start racing!”

After Lin Feng finished speaking, he pulled the handbrake and then sharply turned the steering wheel. The car he was driving immediately made a U-turn and sped in the opposite direction.

The pursuing police cars, unable to brake in time, all overshot.

”Holy crap! Lin, were you a race car driver before?”

Old Mike looked at Lin Feng’s astonishing maneuvers, his face filled with shock.

Lin Feng’s drift and U-turn successfully left the police cars behind, but there were still cameras on the street tracking them, so to escape, they needed to get rid of these cameras.

Lin Feng slightly turned his head to look in the rearview mirror, and after confirming that the police cars hadn’t caught up, he began to weave through the streets and alleys.

The drivers he passed all cursed loudly.

Soon, Lin Feng found a railway.

”Old Mike, let’s hide in the railway tunnel. There are no cameras there.”

”Fuck, you’re crazier than me, let’s do it!”

Soon, Lin Feng drove along the railway at high speed.

Upon seeing the tunnel, he drove straight into it.

Just then, a train was slowly approaching from the opposite direction. Seeing this, Lin Feng slightly turned the steering wheel and drove into the empty space in the middle.

After stopping the car, Lin Feng smiled and said, ”I think we can take the train to escape later.”

”Hmm, good idea. I have to say, Lin, you’re a criminal genius.”

”I’ll take that as a compliment.”

”It is.”

Old Mike shrugged, then took out a pack of cigarettes.

”Try one, my favorite brand.”

Old Mike wiped his blood-stained hands and shook a cigarette out of the pack, handing it to Lin Feng.

The two of them sat in the car, smoking and chatting.

After a short rest, Lin Feng and Old Mike got out of the car.

They were now deep inside the tunnel; the FBI would probably never think they had run to this place.

After getting out of the car, Old Mike took out two sticky bombs from the trunk and activated them.

”What are you doing?”

”Leaving no trace. Otherwise, with the FBI’s capabilities, they could definitely investigate our identities through the information in the car.”

”Hmm, that makes sense.”

Lin Feng nodded in agreement.

Just then, another cargo train slowly approached.

Lin Feng and Old Mike quickly got ready.

”Is your leg okay?”

”It’s fine, I can bear it.”

Old Mike said, enduring the pain.

He then lit another cigarette, wanting to use nicotine to suppress the pain.

”Here it comes!”

The train wasn’t moving fast, so Lin Feng easily jumped onto an empty carriage.

Old Mike took a deep breath and followed, jumping on as well.

However, his wound started bleeding heavily again.

”You can’t go on like this.”

Lin Feng frowned; Old Mike’s face was already pale from excessive blood loss.

The two of them pulled open a shipping container and sat inside.

Lin Feng looked at Old Mike’s wound and frowned.

Suddenly, Lin Feng seemed to remember something and quickly took out his cowhide backpack to search through it.

He finally found a packet of hemostatic agent and painkillers inside. He remembered that this floor’s difficulty was quite high, so he had brought some hemostatic medication when packing weapons. These would come in handy.

”What’s this?”

Old Mike asked, looking at the purple injection pen Lin Feng took out.

”It’s for stopping bleeding.”

As he spoke, Lin Feng unscrewed the injection pen and then directly injected it into Old Mike’s arm, quickly pushing all the liquid inside.

This hemostatic agent could temporarily stop bleeding and increase resistance, though it had a side effect of dehydration.

After the injection, Old Mike tore open the makeshift bandage. Although it was still bleeding, it wasn’t as exaggerated as before.

”Okay, take a painkiller for now to resist it, though it might not do much.”

Lin Feng poured out two painkillers, watching Old Mike who was still breathing heavily.

Ten minutes later.

Lin Feng pulled open the container door again.

By this time, they had arrived in the suburbs; the FBI would certainly not know they had come here.

”It looks like we’ve escaped. Let’s go.”

After Lin Feng spoke, he jumped down directly.

Old Mike followed closely behind.

After getting off the train, Old Mike looked for a road sign, then called Little Fu to pick them up.

At this point, Little Fu, Old Cui, and the others had all escaped, and the gold had been successfully transported away.

The profit from this trip was at least two hundred million US dollars.

”Lin, I’m going to tell you a secret. You absolutely must not tell anyone.”

At this moment, Old Mike suddenly looked at Lin Feng with a serious expression.

”Don’t worry, I’m very discreet.”

Lin Feng initially thought Old Mike was going to talk about Old Cui, but he didn’t expect Old Mike’s words to have nothing to do with Old Cui.

”A friend of mine who works at the FBI told me that Manhattan has been completely locked down, even the bridges leading to the outside world have been blown up, and many elite troops have been transferred to Manhattan.”

”What does that mean?”

”I heard a highly fatal virus appeared there. Who knows? My plan to steal this gold was precisely because I was worried this virus would spread. After I get my share, I plan to buy an island and a yacht, and live an isolated retirement life on the island. Even if the virus is real, it won’t affect me, and I’ve wanted to do this for a long time.”

Old Mike said with a sigh. If the virus was real, his friend at the FBI would definitely be able to notify him in advance, and then he could just take his family and leave.

However, it is said that life in Manhattan is still very normal so far, so this virus is very likely just something fabricated by politicians.

Who knows? These guys always find some outrageous ways to make money.
