Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 593: Chapter 586 My Turf, My Rules

”I’m not too familiar with it, but I’m really curious about it,” Lin Zifeng replied seriously.

”Alright, I now have a very important task for you, but I’m not sure if you can complete it,” the woman’s cheeks flushed a vibrant red as she spoke teasingly, her expression and demeanor reminiscent of a calculating vixen.

”What task?” Lin Zifeng looked at her, bewildered.

He didn’t understand what the woman meant.

Of course, Nangong Bing was also an extremely intelligent woman, carefully considering everything she did.

Although she was already aware of Lin Zifeng’s identity, due to their time spent together recently, she no longer treated him purely as the Death God.

”Lately, the company’s performance has been declining, and a lot of shares have plummeted overnight. If we don’t change the company’s destiny soon, it’s likely that in no time, the name ’Tianyu’ might disappear from Zhonghai City,” Nangong Bing said, her enchanting eyebrows arching slightly. Tianyu was her father’s creation, and if it were to collapse on her watch, she simply didn’t know what she would do.

”So the company is researching whether we can develop a new type of industrial brand on WeChat. We have already reached an agreement with Tengshun Company, and they are willing to shift our brand onto WeChat. This is Tianyu’s only chance to turn things around, so I hope you won’t let me down too much.”

”Oh,” Lin Zifeng nodded, indicating his understanding.

Indeed, Tianyu’s situation was not good, and most importantly, those parasites within the company were really annoying. Moreover, each member of the board held different shares, leaving Nangong Bing powerless to intervene. After Nangong Shui’s death, they managed to recover a bit of the industry in Brazil, but the domestic situation had become very grim.

”So how can I help you?”

When it came to competition in the business world, Lin Zifeng had never let any members of the Shadow Group get involved, and the old dragon from the CIA had also repeatedly reminded him that business affairs generally had to be resolved through one’s own capabilities—state intervention was simply not an option, since the majority of the country’s tax revenue came from businesses.

If the state were to interfere with businesses, the nature of things would undoubtedly change.

”Mu Yang is currently in charge of the IT department, and I plan to appoint you as the new head of IT, while promoting Mu Yang to the department head. What do you think?” Nangong Bing said calmly; she needed to cultivate her own loyal subordinates within the company and dissolve all those harmful to the group.

Somehow, upon hearing this, his mouth fell open in an ’O’ shape!

Staring with wide eyes, he failed to respond for a long time.

”What’s the matter? You’re not happy with being promoted to head? Don’t worry, although you’re currently the head of security and the finance manager, being promoted to head of the IT department will allow you to come to work whenever you want, as long as it pleases you. How about that?”

”Er, then what’s the point of the promotion? If I’m already this free, then why bother elevating my position?” Lin Zifeng felt frustrated. What exactly was this old lady playing at?

If Mu Yang found out Lin Zifeng had been promoted to a head position again, Mu Yang would probably be ecstatic.

”You just need to do as I say. That’s all. You don’t need to worry about the rest.”

”But...”

”I’ll give you a salary of thirty thousand a month, how about that?” Nangong Bing tempted.

”Thirty thousand?” Lin Zifeng was shocked. Considering his three posts, shouldn’t his monthly salary be at least fifty or sixty thousand?

Even Tianyu’s top executives couldn’t reach that level, could they?

”That seems a bit—”

”Forty thousand!”

”It will be very tiring, you know. Holding three positions is hard enough, and I have to attend school and stuff.”

”Fifty thousand!” Nangong Bing ground her teeth in frustration, unable to believe that this scoundrel’s essential nature was still immutable.

”OK! Actually, holding three positions is pretty relaxing, huh.”

Suddenly, Lin Zifeng let out a sly laugh.

Nangong Bing almost couldn’t resist slapping him across the face.

She gnashed her teeth and said hatefully, ”You’re so cheap—!”

...

Early the next morning, following Nangong Bing’s arrangement, the HR department brought Lin Zifeng directly to the IT department.

The news of Mu Yang’s promotion to department head certainly stirred up a lot of drama within the entire company.

Many people were envious of her position, but Mu Yang didn’t seem particularly thrilled; instead, she remained calm and composed.

What really made Mu Yang ecstatic was Lin Zifeng’s promotion to IT department supervisor; that had her grinning all morning, unable to contain her joy.

”What’s up? Little bro, not happy about being promoted to supervisor?”

In the office, Lin Zifeng was pretty much just killing time playing games. That morning, Lin Zifeng had asked Nangong Bing to strip him of his position as head of the security department and passed it on to Zheng Liang.

After all, he was just passing time aimlessly within the company; he didn’t want to block others’ potential for promotion. So, for the sake of company staffing allocation, he was now only holding onto the fat roles of finance department supervisor and IT department supervisor.

There isn’t much here, just a bunch of girls.

”No,” Lin Zifeng replied expressionlessly.

He could almost imagine what kind of melodramatic scene would unfold later, and that was really bothering Lin Zifeng.

”Oh? It’s been so many days, and you haven’t come to see me. Where have you run off to? Did you miss me?” she said.

Mu Yang breathed out softly, the scenery at the front of her chest blatantly exposed in front of Lin Zifeng, swaying from side to side, the white and flesh-colored silks inside quivering.

Like two little boats, tilting left and right.

”No,” Lin Zifeng said, avoiding looking directly at her because her seductive gaze was truly capable of seducing the dead.

”But I’ve missed you, what should I do?”

”Cool it.”

”Giggling, yo! It’s only been a few days, but your character sure has changed quickly, huh. Come on, big sister is feeling a bit thirsty now, whether you can satisfy me depends on your skills,” Mu Yang teased, already starting to undress in front of Lin Zifeng as she spoke.

”I say, Director Mu, this is the company, you know!” The man jumped up in fright and sat down with a thud.

Even playful. Passionate ventures weren’t approached like this. If the grand boss caught them, wouldn’t they be in deep trouble!

”Giggling, I call the shots on my turf, and besides you, there’s only me here. Do you think a third person will show up?” Mu Yang’s face was dripping with allure, exuding endless charm.

”I’m not worried about the likely; I’m worried about the unlikely. If necessary, when I’m free, we can find a discreet place and get it done, right? Why the need to be thirsty in the office?”

”Hmm, true, you’re even more thoughtful than I am.”

”Heh, how could I not consider something like this?” the man muttered bitterly under his breath.
