Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 572: Chapter 565 Tianyu Mobile Phone

After burying Nangong Shui’s body back in the homeland, Nangong Bing had been quite reticent during this period, clearly heavily impacted emotionally.

She worked tirelessly every day, attempting to numb herself with work.

However, upon returning to the country, Nangong Bing discovered that Tianyu Group had drastically changed!

The entire operation of the company had significantly deteriorated.

Especially in the trade department, the entire company’s foreign trade industry had declined to a level that infuriated Nangong Bing. Even the newly developed mobile phone that had recently been launched had plummeted to zero holdings at the same time.

Moreover, what shocked Nangong Bing was that the newly developed mobile phone product had imitations on the market from the first moment!

High-quality counterfeit phones!

They were priced almost half as much as Tianyu phones, with nearly identical functions.

Could it be that internal staff members had leaked the manufacturing drawings and blueprints?

Nangong Bing quickly placed calls to the manufacturing department director and the trade department.

Soon, Sun Xiaonao, wearing pink stiletto heels, swayed in.

Seeing the manufacturing department director with his head bowed, puzzling over issues in the office, Sun Xiaonao shivered instinctively. She knew that Nangong Bing was aware of the matter.

She could hardly imagine how formidable this woman was. She had just returned to the country, having barely completed her father’s funeral, and yet she had thoroughly grasped all matters, big and small, within the company.

Even minor issues or a single document, this woman would handle meticulously, even pondering for a while before putting forward targeted suggestions.

The company’s newly launched Tianyu phone had only been on the market briefly, but counterfeit versions had already started to proliferate. It seemed she had already noticed a clue.

This woman was truly terrifying.

Sun Xiaonao mused inwardly.

”President,” Sun Xiaonao pushed open the office door and lowered her voice, fearing to arouse Nangong Bing’s suspicion.

”Hmm, you’re here. Sit down,” Nangong Bing nodded and pointed at the chair next to the manufacturing department director.

”Oh,” Sun Xiaonao glanced nervously at the manufacturing department director, then anxiously kept her eyes fixed on Nangong Bing.

”How has the trade department’s foreign trade been recently?”

In front of the exquisite crystal desk, the woman’s slender fingers tapped lightly, lifting a cup of freshly brewed Pu’er tea and taking a few sips, her seemingly nonchalant actions imposing in their eyes.

”It’s, it’s been alright, continually maintaining an upward trend,” Sun Xiaonao tried her best to calm her inner nerves, her white, flowing blouse fluctuating slightly with her breathing.

The manufacturing department director blatantly stole glances, remained silent, and continued to bow his head.

”Oh, it’s alright?”

The slender hand that had just lifted the fragrant tea suddenly paused at her lips, her elegant eyebrows knitting, she smiled and asked, ”Which aspect do you mean by ’alright’?”

A rare smile appeared on Nangong Bing’s cold and attractive face.

Yet, seen through Sun Xiaonao’s eyes, it was so chilling, and she involuntarily shivered.

Blushing, she said, ”President, I, I don’t understand what you mean.”

”You don’t need to understand my meaning, you just need to tell me, how come the trade department’s performance has declined so severely during my absence? And the latest Tianyu phone had only been on the market for less than half a month, yet there are already various counterfeit phones everywhere. Can you tell me what’s going on?”

Nangong Bing, smile lingering, stared at Sun Xiaonao’s thickly made-up face.

She was curious to see what kind of reasonable explanation Sun Xiaonao would provide.

Although Nangong Bing had been entangled in some matters recently, she was well aware that, among all the staff of Tianyu, although she did not know everyone, there were still a few daring grasshoppers that caught her attention.

”President, do, do you suspect me? I, Sun Xiaonao, can swear to heaven that my loyalty to the company is clear for all to see. How could I possibly do anything against the company’s interests?” Sun Xiaonao suddenly stood up from his chair, clearly displaying a situation of ’protesting too much.’

”Director Liu, what is your view on this matter?”

At that moment, Nangong Bing didn’t pay any attention to Sun Xiaonao, but instead turned her gaze, half-smiling and not smiling, towards the Manufacturing Director.

”This, I also... entirely depend on the president’s decision.” The Manufacturing Director was no fool; given that Nangong Bing asked him that question, what else could he say?

”Oh? Entirely up to me? Why do I feel like, from your tones, it sounds as if I am threatening you?” Nangong Bing chuckled lightly and said, ”Director Sun, I will not pursue this matter for now, but I am handing this task over to you to handle. I will not consider the outcome, but I hope Director Sun can give me a satisfactory response.”

As she spoke, Nangong Bing handed over a report that had been in front of her on the crystal desk, smiling, ”I hope you won’t let me down too much.”

With his face ashen, Sun Xiaonao didn’t speak, just nodded his head and quickly left.

Watching Sun Xiaonao’s retreating figure, a cold smile slightly curved the corners of Nangong Bing’s fair and beautiful lips.

However, the Manufacturing Director’s legs were already trembling uncontrollably in the office.

He wanted to leave, but the beautiful female president in front of him remained utterly calm and said nothing, letting him do nothing.

This silent stillness made the Manufacturing Director even more frightened.

”President, I will definitely find out who leaked the blueprints in the Tianyu smartphone piracy case and give the company a satisfactory response.”

”No need.” Nangong Bing said expressionlessly, ”Nowadays, there are knockoffs everywhere. Even if we find out who leaked the blueprints, so what? Can that really recover the company’s losses?”

”But since this incident originated from our Manufacturing Department, we are willing to bear the consequences,” he said, clearly ready to take responsibility.

Did he think such a small display of self-sacrifice could fool Nangong Bing? Win her favor?

Of course not.

Having battled in the business world for over a year, she had seen all kinds of people.

Encountered all kinds of situations.

She couldn’t possibly be dismissed with just a few words.

”Consequences? Do you think you can really bear them?” Nangong Bing scoffed.

Seeing that his gambit of playing the victim did not work, the Manufacturing Director became somewhat distressed.

”I no longer wish to pursue this matter, but this is the first and last time. If the blueprints of new products are lost again, you know what to do, right?”

”Yes, yes. It’s all my fault, all my fault. It will definitely not happen again.”

The Manufacturing Director’s head was full of cold sweat, and his legs were shaking uncontrollably, very aware of Nangong Bing’s decisively powerful maneuvers.

”You may leave now.” Appearing somewhat tired, the woman gently massaged her temples with her delicate fingers.

”President, I don’t know if I should say this or not?”

”Speak.” Nangong Bing said indifferently.

”If you feel really tired, why not let us handle some of the work? I fear, I fear that if you continue to work this hard, your health might suffer.”

Ha! Trying to gain favor by flattery?

Nangong Bing inwardly scoffed continuously.

”You may leave now.” Nangong Bing waved her hand curtly without opening her eyes.
