Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 559: Chapter 552: I’d Rather Die Standing Than Live on My Knees

”I’ll say it again, if you don’t bring ***** tonight, I’ll break your damned legs!”

After he spoke, the thug extended his palm to slap those few students once more.

But just at that moment, a skinny, weak hand suddenly grabbed the thug’s arm.

”Shit! Isn’t this Shao Huo?” The thug turned to look, and it was none other than the famous coward from the Archaeology Department, Shao Huo.

They had just extorted hundreds from him last time, and unexpectedly bumped into him again here.

What the thugs couldn’t understand the most was, why was this coward standing up for justice?

”Oh! It’s really Shao Huo.” The thug forcefully shook off Shao Huo’s hand and said with a cold stare, ”What, you want to meddle? Wasn’t last time’s beating enough for you? Did you find the ***** I asked you to? Our Brother K is waiting for the chick to start work tonight.”

Shao Huo didn’t speak, instead, he turned his head to look at the beaten students, his cold eyes fixing intently on them.

”Hey! Are you fucking pretending to be deaf and dumb?” The thug was getting annoyed seeing Shao Huo’s expressionless gaze.

”I’m talking to you, dammit?” The thug, feeling agitated, reached out to slap Shao Huo’s face.

Now, Shao Huo, after last night’s baptism of blood, had transformed as if he was a different person, lifting his thigh and kicking at the thug’s abdomen.

”Bang!” Caught off guard, the thug was sent flying a meter away.

”You dare kick me?”

Obviously, the thug was also stunned. In his memory, Shao Huo had always been a coward, and he hadn’t expected him to change so drastically today.

”Brothers, beat him to death for me!” The thug was finally enraged and roared uncontrollably.

The surrounding students were so frightened that they all started to back away, fearing being caught in the calamity.

Almost instantly as the thug’s words fell, Shao Huo quickly rushed towards the thugs. His skinny hand instantly grabbed the hair of the thug who had fallen to the ground and dragged him in front of himself, shouting, ”Who comes near, I’ll crush his skull!”

After grabbing the thug’s hair, Shao Huo’s two skinny hands fiercely clutched the thug’s neck.

He glared around menacingly.

Now, the other thugs were at a loss.

”Cough cough... Shao Huo... Let’s talk this over slowly, let me go!”

The thug’s eyes bulged as he desperately tried to loosen Shao Huo’s grip, which was like iron pincers.

”Boss!”

The other underlings were also shocked.

”All of you back the fuck off! Take one more step closer, and I’ll strangle him—believe it or not?” Although Shao Huo had killed people these past few days, his combat and fighting skills were still somewhat lacking; in terms of Kung Fu fighting, he didn’t even grasp the basics.

”Shao Huo, have you lost your mind? If you dare touch our boss, I’ll be the first to make you pay!” the thugs around him shouted.

”Heh, threatening me, are you? I’m not only going to touch him today; I’m going to cripple him!”

Shao Ling, who had always been oppressed, finally erupted with an unprecedented malevolence, his pale fingers tightly squeezing the thug’s neck. He slowly released the grip only when the thug’s eyes rolled back, and his tongue hung out.

In the distance, on the lawn, Lin Zifeng casually smoked a cigarette, coldly watching everything unfold. He was curious to see just how much Shao Huo had changed after last night’s bloody ordeal.

I originally thought Shao Huo was just seeking revenge for the moment but never expected the malevolence in him to be so intense.

If this guy truly rises one day, he might even go further than Lin Zifeng.

When a man is cruel and venomous enough, his achievements will certainly not be insignificant.

”Shao Huo! No no no, Brother Shao, please let go of our boss, he’ll die if this continues.”

The underlings around started to panic, their faces turned strange shades as they looked at each other, truly unable to comprehend how Shao Huo had become like this.

”Heh, too late,” Shao Huo sneered with his pale face.

Suddenly, Shao Huo grabbed the thug’s head, and his right knee forcefully thrust into the thug’s face. The collision of the knee and nose made a crisp bone-crushing sound that caused the students behind Shao Huo to shudder.

Crack!

The thug’s nose was instantly smashed to pieces, and thick blood streamed from both nostrils.

”Hehe, does it hurt?” Shao Huo smirked sinisterly, grabbing the thug’s bloodied head and bringing his face close.

”Shao, Brother Shao, I was wrong, please let me go,” the thug pleaded weakly.

”Let you go? Kneel down and kowtow ten times to me, and I will let you go,” Shao Ling sneered, sweeping his icy gaze over those small thugs, whose faces had turned somewhat pale. They instinctively stepped back.

”Bang!”

Shao Huo’s fist once again smashed down on the thug’s nose.

He said coldly, ”Will you kowtow or not? Eh!”

”Not kowtowing!” Being in the underworld, everyone needs face. Obviously, kowtowing and admitting wrong in front of their own underlings exceeded their pride.

”Not kowtowing, huh!” Shao Huo’s gaze intensified, and he revealed a gruesome smile. He turned his head to the bullied students behind him and said with a laugh, ”Just now, he was the one hitting you. Now I give you a chance, each of you slap him dozens of times, until you feel satisfied. If they retaliate in any way, I alone will bear it for you!”

”This, this...”

The few students who had been bullied had already turned pale with fear. Although they also loathed the thugs to their bones, these poor students couldn’t afford to provoke them. It seemed everyone was ready to let things slide. Most people preferred to bury their heads and forget the whole incident.

”What’s the matter? Bullied without the courage even to fart? A person might lack arrogance, but must never lack spine! If you are real men, show your spine today. Do you really want to be bullied by these scum, these little thugs, and these rich second generation your whole life? We too have dignity, why should they trample us without any fear? Are they people and we are not?” Shao Huo was immensely agitated, nearly shouting out loud.

Looking at these faint-hearted students, he knew if he didn’t respect himself, then who else would?

It’s better to die standing than to live kneeling.

At that moment, those bullied students felt a sense of shame with Shao Huo’s words.

Everyone pondered silently in their hearts.

What am I living for?

What did I come to this world for? Is it to be bullied by others? To amuse those rich second generations and thugs?

No! We live with dignity, a person might lack arrogance, but must never lack spine!

Shao Huo’s gaze was like a torch, staring at them intently, hoping they would give him a satisfactory answer.
