Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 576: Chapter 569 Suburban Turmoil

”Ouch, what the heck! They play dirty like that?”

Shao Huo couldn’t help but admire the auntie’s trickery, who started such antics in front of so many people...

”Auntie, we can talk this out, please don’t falsely accuse someone.” The boy was also shocked, and with the way this tender auntie was framing him, nobody would be in a good mood.

”Ow, ow, he’s hitting me, he’s hitting me.” It seemed like the water-selling auntie had latched onto him, clutching his trousers tightly and just refusing to let go.

At this point, the boy’s girlfriend got a bit angry.

”Auntie, all these people are watching, can you please not humiliate him? If you keep this up, don’t blame me for calling the police.” Saying this, the girl started to take out her phone to dial the number.

”What are you doing? What are you doing?”

From the crowd, a tall and muscular young man emerged, his brawny muscles making him look quite powerful, especially with his inherently fierce-looking face under a black tank top exposing chunky blocks of dark muscle.

”Xiao Liang, your Auntie Chen got beaten up by these two little bastards, quick, help me, they’re even threatening to call the cops now.” Saying this, the water-selling auntie’s act of playing dumb and selling stupid became more and more convincing, crying and gesticulating wildly, as if her face was inscribed with the fact that she had been beaten.

”Was it you two who did it?” The fierce man walked quickly toward the boy, grabbed his collar, and stared at them with eyes like copper bells, threatening them dead on.

”Misunderstanding! This is just a misunderstanding, bro, can you listen to me explain slowly, ok?” The boy was also startled by the fierce man’s intimidation.

”Ah! You still want to call the cops? Are you looking for trouble?”

Saying this, the fierce man threatened as he gripped the boy’s neck.

”Hey, hey, hey, what are you doing? Want to hit someone, huh? Believe it or not, I’ll record this and hand it to the police.” The onlookers could no longer stand by and watch, taking out their phones to take pictures of the fierce man.

”Record, record, record, motherf**ker! Keep recording and see if I don’t smash your phone!” The fierce man pointed at the few guys taking pictures with their phones.

”Come on! First you scam and now you want to start hitting?”

By this time, the fierce man’s behavior was too much for the surrounding student crowd to stand.

”Touch him and see, I’ll call the cops right now!”

...

Watching this, Lin Zifeng lost interest in seeing any more.

Seeing that Shao Huo seemed ready to rush over for a good argument, Lin Zifeng still held him back.

Situations like this are common nowadays; it’s better to mind one’s own business.

”Zifeng, we’re just going to leave like this?” Shao Huo didn’t quite understand. Situations like this were when someone needed to show off, and hitting on girls under these circumstances seemed like the perfect opportunity.

Lin Zifeng ignored him and simply turned and walked away, waving his arm.

Seeing this, Shao Huo shook his head helplessly.

Looking at the surrounding girls gathering in greater numbers, Shao Huo drooled with envy; now, he wasn’t the same as before, following Lin Zifeng made him feel especially brave.

But now that Lin Zifeng had left, he could only leave reluctantly himself.

It wasn’t until after an afternoon of aimless wandering, and a get-together with students from different departments of the Archaeology Department in the evening, when everyone wanted to go to KTV for some fun fueled by alcohol, that Lin Zifeng didn’t join in the excitement but instead went back to the hotel to lie on the bed and think about his own issues.

And as for Shao Huo, because of his friends, he went along for the fun; he insisted on dragging Lin Zifeng with him but got rejected by Lin Zifeng.

Shit! A ’big cleanup’? Do I look like that kind of guy?

It wasn’t until after Shao Huo left that Lin Zifeng was left with a bitter face, damn it, I was just pretending to be busy, if this guy had insisted a bit longer, maybe I really would’ve gone for the ’big cleanup’—

Shao Huo had left for less than half an hour when a student rushed back breathlessly, panting like a bull.

It startled Lin Zifeng, who was reading a newspaper.

”What’s wrong? Were you almost beaten to death at the village entrance?”

”Lin, Brother Lin, it’s not good, Shao Huo has been beaten up! He’s still inside the KTV right now.”

The student, who had a decent relationship with Shao Huo, said anxiously. They had sensed trouble earlier at the KTV, which is why Shao Huo had him come back early to find Lin Zifeng for help.

”Slow down, what happened?” Lin Zifeng asked, putting the newspaper down and helping the student steady himself.

”We were about to go to the KTV nearby for some fun, when that fierce guy related to the water-selling aunt also appeared. He called a bunch of people, took away one of the guys’ girlfriends, and had him beaten up. Shao Huo couldn’t stand it and confronted them. They’re still inside the KTV...”

Before the student could finish, Lin Zifeng ran toward the KTV Shao Huo had mentioned that morning.

Although the KTV wasn’t of high grade, it had its advantages, and like this tourist spot, it had very high daily earnings.

It’s said that this KTV was under the cover of one of the East District’s big three gangs, 13K, and was a sworn enemy of Zhang Yuxuan’s sister’s Butterfly Gang.

It was also the first target for Lin Zifeng to cut through when he planned to take over the Underground Forces of Huaxia.

As he approached the KTV, he saw a bunch of men surrounding and beating up Shao Huo, and several students who had tried to intervene were also brutally stomped to the ground.

The KTV was surrounded by young men and women who seemed to be having a good time, yet not a single person dared to step in and help. Instead, many looked on with cold indifference.

However, Shao Huo’s willpower was beyond Lin Zifeng’s expectations.

The guy wielded a wine bottle, swinging it at the feet of several men. Despite taking countless kicks to his body, he bit his teeth and refused to beg for mercy, his face swollen like a pig’s head, still staunchly fighting the men.

”Fuck! Come on! Bring it on!”

Seizing a moment of reprieve, Shao Huo sprang up from the ground with a roar, waving the wine bottle at the men attacking him.

”I’ll wipe your damn face!”

In that instant, one of the men took advantage of Shao Huo’s distraction and kicked him, sending him flying several meters.

The intense pain made Shao Huo feel like he was about to vomit the alcohol he’d just consumed.

”Motherfucker! You’ve got some nerve.”

Shao Huo, after falling, wiped the corner of his mouth, spitting out the yellowish alcohol.

”Kid, you dare make trouble here, I’ll let you know what the law is today!”

The men once again picked up wine bottles and surrounded Shao Huo, ready to beat him.

But just as they were about to make a move, someone tapped them on the shoulder from behind.

”Who—”

All five turned around in unison, their faces filled with wariness towards the newcomer.

However, they were met with a face beaming with a radiant smile.

Before the five could curse, Lin Zifeng’s palm had already swung their way.

”Smack smack smack smack smack—”

Five crisp slaps sent the men flying.

”Brother Lin!” Shao Huo quickly got up, saying somewhat excitedly, ”Brother Lin, hurry and save that guy’s girlfriend from this morning in the KTV. These bastards have dragged her inside, we don’t know her condition now. I’m afraid that the student girl has been ruined by them.”
